I encourage anyone else who’s here right now to take a look at him and try to determine his alignment one way or another. I took a quick glance at yesterday and came out with one post that I felt pointed strongly to him being town, but I did not do a thorough scan of his play as a whole.
I'm gonna go to bed, I'll either wake up being dead on the game (90%) or we probably win.

Either way making this post considering myself as the dead meat. Look into Enrique / FG. Tsp is 100% town. Or I won't have ice cream for a week. Marmot too. And nutella towny as well.

- your assessment on me is bad and I cannot let it go because I know who am I and it seems like the easy tunnel to mislynch I would expect scum to do.
- you are having the possibilities of me being town in a few rare posts but that seems like a setting for future?

The only positive thing apart from you activity would be, you voting for Vulgard last day and not me, cause I think with LC down, it won't make sense for you to vote vul as scum. But if we look at bigger picture why won't you vote vul to save you a spot in the town core?
I can do nothing with “mostly a feeling.”
Points 2 & 3 in conjunction paint a scenario in which I cannot win. Either I read you as scum, which (in your eyes) is bad, or I consider the alternative of you being town which is again (in your eyes) bad.

You are my top suspect and I have reason to town read everybody else. The thread has been dead today, presumably because everyone else is accepting your fate as a foregone conclusion. If I was fully satisfied with this result, I would not still be questioning you right now. As a civilian, it is my imperative to keep talking to you and to consider the future so that we have those possible other worlds set up in the event that you do flip town. I am doing all of this because I want you to show me that you are town and that somebody else is not.

Why does it seem bad that I specifically am wrong about you when nobody else (except for you) has made a case for any other suspect today? If I am wrong, the whole thread is wrong. Why am I singled out?
I don't know tbh. I think it's mostly a me problem because I rarely get sussed by others when I'm town and it just does not sit well with me. But I mean I should be expecting this when I'm changing playstyle. But either way -

You are singled out because -
1. You did the most work and even after diving that much deep your conclusions are wrong and I rarely see you considering a different world.
2. I have reasons to town read TSP, nutella and Marmot. On the other hand I am scum reading FG and Enrique yoia re in neither list. Because you have good sides as well as bad one.

Re: It's a Mysterious Universe (D2)

Not really, but it we look at their iso it makes more sense that he is a scummate to vul.
-refuses to vote vul who could have been lynched.
-votes a person who would not get lynched [LC was not going to get lynched, their vote ans sus does not clear him at all.]
- votes the player who would get lynched in place of vul.

Their overall play has not been much either. Nothing worth town reading him for. Not much explanations on their reads either. They also seems to be demotivated, what you'd expect a scum to be rn.

Because I haven’t seen you explain why the read exists yet, and this I am struggling to believe that it is genuine.

"I'm going to defend the one partner who's being treated as a piñata but give no solid justification for it and then, in the same breath, turn around and bury my other partner who nobody's even talking about" does not seem like a likely thought process from a member of the mafia team.

But I am open to Enrique being scum and will listen to arguments.

But also, more importantly, my question was specifically intended for Poison.
My take on the scum is Enrique/FG. And if not them probably you are the deep wolf. I don't see anyother person here who is one.

Vulgard was a certain lynch either Day 1 or Day 2. LC was playing different from his town game and it was quite visible and people would have caught him later on. Going after vul like everybody would be so mainstream and more like sheeping when Enrique is not even that active or loud with his opinions, at least not much.

Is it so unbelievable a scenario?
Vulgard was not town reading all the town members. He voted for Marmot soon after the post in question. He pushed for Syn consistently throughout the day and Alison early on. He pushed hard on Mac after LC flipped. I think those are two members.
I think Vulgard being under such significant pressure from such an early stage would force him to do some things he normally wouldn't. That's not a comfortable position to be in for anybody, let alone a wolf in a relatively new environment. He had to be careful and also probably try to start setting up some distance between himself and his partner(s). I think his interactions with you look the most like what I'd assume distancing would look like in this instance.
Okay then, all I can say is the assumption is wrong here, because even Vulgard knew he would not be able to push a lynch on anyone you mentioned but me. His push on me made more sense than the others but I can't change your mind.

The point I was trying to make in the text you highlighted is the same one that I made in more detail immediately afterward (in your post), about which you said this:
Unlike the above post, I think this post makes a fair point and I can agree to it.
By "If they are partners, I expect them to be a bit closer in tone here." I meant to say that if funnygurl and vulgard are partners, then their interactions will feel more coordinated than they were. "Closer in tone", meaning they will both have a relatively similar tone to one another during the interactions, and the relationship between them (vulgard as the aggressor versus funnygurl) should remain as it is.
But, as I noted in the next post, which you agreed with, that did not happen. Vulgard started out aggressive, funnygurl responded with heightened intensity, and Vulgard folded and turned defensive.

Why did you say you "dont think that is necessarily right" if you did not understand the point I was trying to make?

Re: It's a Mysterious Universe (D2)

Let's compare these three player assessments. Alison has "really, really leveled up"; i.e., she looks much better now than she did before. Okay.
Poison "is weird... muted... very, very odd." She possibly has TMI and it "feels awful" despite the hedge about the "hot take."
Marmot is "kinda towny" but we're just gonna chuck that read out of the window because

If one of these is Vulgard's teammate, it's Poison.
So this is an assumption and lemme ask you this, do you think a scum would be town reading all town members and scum read his teammate, hmmm, kinda meh right? how about we look at the bigger picture -
Day 1, scum getting scum read to and fro, a townie getting scum read to and fro [if you don't believe I'm town just assume here] what would the scum do?
Try to give explanations and lynch the townie as if it's their solid scum read? Or any other thing he would have done?

Is it so unbelievable a scenario?
The Alison read reads as a wolf surrendering on a push against a civilian who has become obvious. Marmot is town because "I read my teammate as town for no reason but I don't care about this read so I'm gonna ignore it and then vote for them" is not a thing that happens.
Poison gets three vaguely negative adjectives applied to her ("weird, muted, odd") before we get to the meaty part of the read, which is itself filled with erinaceous (this is a word and we're gonna make it catch on) language: "It seems...", "possibly indicative..." "I know x, but y." Given the conviction behind Vulgard's previous suspicions (Alison, Syn), the softness of this read makes it feel like he is hesitating and trying not to come off too strong. Also, this is his first mention of Poison in his ISO. Marmot as well, but Poison had been much more active than Marmot to this point.
The adjective deduction is brilliant, not necessarily right but brilliant. I would definitely take advantage of this to confuse you next game. :workit:

Re: It's a Mysterious Universe (D2)

Does Vulgard treat his teammate like this? No one was really pressuring funnygurl at this point. Vulgard was starting to feel some heat at this point, though. This feels a bit too early for a panic bus on his part. Tentative good look for funnygurl. He substantiates his point here.
This is an easy early distancjng because vul was always getting scum read right after the 2 pages. I don't see why a scummate won't do this?
This does not feel like a staged interaction between teammates. funnygurl's tone is much more aggressive. Vulgard responds a bit timidly, turning her read into a question and then shrugging. If they are partners, I expect them to be a bit closer in tone here. For reference, Vulgard's next post is a similar response to Syn:
what do you mean by the colored part Sloonei i don't think that is necessarily right. I was pretty aggressive while soft shading/distancing TSP early in the game.
Post #124 is funnygurl's response to the above post. She again comes off as the aggressor here, and Vulgard is clearly on the defensive in his response. I do not think this is what distancing looks like: vulgard initiated it, but funnygurl immediately spun it back around on him. If they are distancing, I would expect it to be move more consistently in one direction; Vulgard starts as the aggressor and maintains that role throughout, with only slight pushback from funnygurl. Instead, Vulgard made one point about funnygurl, and she immediately started wielding that to push her own suspicion against him, and his only response was to duck and cover.
Unlike the above post, I think this post makes a fair point and I can agree to it.

I am mostly just interested in my reasons for town-reading funnygurl and enrique. You do not need to respond to or read everything.
Sure thing. I'll do it, it's hard to do it on phone, I'll be at it when I'm on PC. I'm going back to sleep for now

Is he an obvious scum?
i played two games with scum sloonei (one turbo and one full game) and caught him both times lol... though i also lost both games. but you know, it's whatever. im still salty tsp

but in the full game, epi just like.... got him. it was wild. so i'd assume that other syndicate regulars would be able to catch him too
Do you think with vul being obv scum, me being sketchy and sloonei's activity anyone would try to look into him instead of focusing on us?
sloonei's activity's been hella pro-town so i mean nah? why should i question him? he's been doing All The Right Things
From your perspective, from mine I can see him adding fuel in a mislynch. Although I do agree he is trying to reevaluate as well, I might just be wrong about him.

Again, Sloonei maybe we can look past me and try to look at other people now, while you can have an assured lynch!poison. No harm in that is there?

Why am I not town?
I don't know for sure tbh but your progression on me seems sketchy, as if you wanna say you did find me scummy because of these things, I might just be wrong though. But I had hard time reading you as any alignment this game tbh.
I was Not Town in your eyes before all of this. Why wasn't I town on Day 1?
Why is my progression on you sketchy in particular? Everyone else suspects you right now as well.
Yes, I don't know tbh, your early Day 1 posts were okay maybe a bit towny as well, the later half of Day 1 was a bit NAIish? I never really read you town, I wonder why.

actually though talk about your marmot read. that's spicy
Tbh, I wonder about that, doing such a long assessment and being wrong idk tbh.

About my marmot read, it's not spicy, I have town read him from the beginning. He seems carefree, his reads are independent, he agrees/disagrees despite them being his town/wolf reads, a very towny thing in my opinion.

why?
Because all you did this game was sheeping. And your voting pattern is not quite the towniest, if it is not your playstyle.
when did i sheep?
Well it seems like that, you have always talked and agreed with whatever is happening in the thread.

Sloonei, with your 'adjectives' judgement, how many times were you correct?
