Abstract away from the game, is there a strong reason for a mason to not come forward if their partner does as well? I've never seen a single mason claim before (unless their partner dies, but that is a different story), and I think in general it is subobptimal to not have the whole masonry claim at once since it just invites confusion, doubt, and tinfoil.

If there isn't a strong reason for a second mason to not claim, I think we should push Guillo. Worst case scenerio, it causes the other mason to claim (which again I think is just the optimal play, but want to hear from others), best case scenerio, Guillo is just a scrambling wolf and we can lunch him.

Its generally better for only one mason to claim so its easier for protectives to predict nks/nks are forced

Modern family had a backup role that could choose what role they wanted to inherit, and got all the shots of that role even if it was an x shot that was spent.

I see no reason to think sloon couldn't have that role or that it couldn't work as a town role

This entire discussion is deeply dumb, either sloon is gonna shoot (and if he's town with a shot it better be soon), or he isn't. Railing about whether this game adheres to ms definitions is a waste of everybody's time

I don’t think this situation is a red check or anything like that. If Martin can’t be town, then Allcrab/lost monkey can’t both be town either (hence Nanook’s perspective).

I think hawk left us with an important legacy point though: if the duplicates are just auto-split between alignments, then that’s outing. It’s a silly way to build a game, and I think going that way by default is iffy.

I do think Allcrab is independently suspicious and that a valid case can be made for Martin. So the conclusion is okay even if I don’t vibe with the process.

I think OC is the most independently suspicious player in the game though, and by a decent margin. Bad bunny would be up there if not for Allcrab conflicts.

I think dupes are split among home site not alignment and the two watcher thing isn't why id kill crabs

We’re probably fine. I was irritated by the fake red and [what I have perceived to be] unwillingness to take the logical step that Dana probably died because she protected the NK target.

Yeah I mean idk why anyone would take a guillo claim seriously, but I suppose a good chunk here haven't really played with him

Also yeah I assume Dana ate the nk for someone else, she'd be a pretty weird kill for any team to make
