I'm not fully caught up but I'm at the part about Guillo baselessly speculating on multiple scum factions.

Changing my vote to Guillo. The guy who designs game like they're going out of style misinterpreting game design info that's clearly stated in the OP? Nah fam.

Ngl though ilario is voicing tinfoil thoughts that have briefly visited my head except he's well articulated and my brain isn't.

But I do think it's still too based in WIFOM to give serious merit at this stage. Like occams razor still applies even for good wolves more often than not. Alex's actions still make sense from a town pov so I'll see it that way till we get all green flips tonight and I panic.

Yeah Falcon doesn't fake checks from what I remember.

I feel like I should be able to place a read on 112 and/or Falcon over this exchange but my brain feels foggy this game.

112 *can* have a wide scum range, but doesn't usually stretch it. Like during Champs a few years ago she reached new heights imo, but in your average game she fits a certain pattern...and I don't know that this is it. Basically I don't want to discount 112 being scum here because I don't know anything precludes it, but GTH meta read is she's more likely town.

Falcon I just...maybe I'm just pocketed by the green check, but it felt real to me, the whole progression of it. He was uncertain of me in D1 as I recall (honestly I should check this at some point), then suddenly was overly confident on me in D2 and quietly showed that throughout the early round. He's not wrong that we were both receiving a middling amount of votes, and at some point I pressed him, he threw his hands up and declared the check, and it just felt right to me because that's what I thought he was hinting at.

So I kind of think both could be town or maybe I just want them to be. But equally if they are, then we better hit with sig/sabie or else my reads are so bad that I'm going to help throw this game for town.

Please dear god let us hit at least one.

I'm really banking on this game being fairly 'easy' after all or else I'm going to something (I couldn't think of how to finish this to appropriately express the muddy mix of emotions I'd feel in that scenario).

Like normally I'm someone who sticks to the principle of 'momentum votes and policy votes are bad, always just pick the scummiest person' but since we have 4 shots at once may as well choose a couple 'yeah they could easily be a wolf' type of players like Sig and Sabie, imo.

Sig could be town. But that nutella shot means he's one of our four.

I also lean on Wilgy being town maybe probably I think. Even as I type that I change my mind again though. He didn't really act like improperly in the final moments of D1 when it was unclear if he'd go over or not. And he's been more engaged today rather than demoralised at his thread position. But I dunno, I don't want to make that decision. Part of me hopes he's scum as it was my D1 vote.

I do feel this game in particular is one where people start sussing whoever isn't in thread. Maybe it's shying away from confrontation. Maybe it's what-have-ya-done-for-me-lately syndrome. I just made that one up even.

I think this game has been easier than we thought it was. Like in D1 we shot at a bunch of ? slots and hit mainly town and it felt worrying to see so much green so soon. But actually today has felt, at least at times, quite good in the thread, at least when certain people have been in it trying to puzzle things out.

I'm going to go to sleep an optimist that this game isn't hard and we just need to keep going as we are. I'll hopefully be able to do my own bit to help soon too.

Mac you don't need to ctrl-F Dizzy's iso; I've already concluded it reflects well on you.

I've nursed a constant 'but what if it's JPIC?' question in my mind but I just can't make it stick.

What about, like, sig/sabie/LP?/someone else? or something, and then like HK trying not to show his demotivation or something.

My instinct is to believe it. That's what I felt I was sensing from Falc earlier (iirc his opinion on me changed over night) and it makes sense he'd check me.

I've misread falcon a bunch lately, thinking scum when he's town. This time he doesn't feel like either, at least not his usual meta. But in a vacuum I find him a bit too appeasing. His read on me is too confident. Unless there are raisins I just don't know how long I can keep ignoring him and hoping something happens to help me settle on an opinion.

I've paid zero attention to LP this entire game. I don't know why. Something about the posting style.

I've also paid zero attention to Guillo but I know why.

I'm struggling to really settle on names. Maybe it's just a sig/sabie/paopan?/etc world and I've been struggling because I'm avoiding that sort of world deliberately.

But I start adding up names I have decent reasons to townread and I quickly don't have many left.
