Either way, I don't want to try reading Made anymore. I still have a mild suspicion of Dizzy, even if there has been more stuff I liked from them the past two day phases. I just can't shake away those bad gut feelings. One thing in particular that still weirded me out is the "cold feet" that the started getting on 112 right before 112 claimed 3P. It felt like Dizzy wanted 112 yeeted, thinking 112 was town, but didn't want to look bad for voting them later. Then, the "cold feet" seemed to disappear immediately once 112 claimed 3P.

Oh, that makes sense. Right now, I think Made is in the bottom of the general accepted PoE, and he's, like, somewhere in the middle of mine. I have no problem starting there.

And the order I'd go in if I had full control is Made -> Alison -> Dizzy -> Michelle -> JPIC. JPIC is on the border though for me. Made -> Alison and then one of Michelle or Dizzy would probably always be what I would aim for right now though.

@Alison When exactly do you leave the game again (assuming you leave when you've fulfilled your win con)?

I leave the game at the end of the next day phase assuming everything goes well (ie. my bargainees dont die). If not it will take longer

I'll be protecting between kyle and LC because they're my bargainees

Clarification: I'll win at the *end* of Day 9, because people have until the end of the day phase to accept my bargain, and only formally accept it at the end of the day. So you don't need to do much to extend the game as long as it doesn't end by then.

well... i wasn't able to find out if you'd count as your own victory point person because you weren't around to respond, but it seemed that at least being able to protect your dealmakers would be beneficial to everyone involved, especially since you're working at such a deficit, and if you yourself had counted as a person having accepted a deal that would make things easier for you mathematically in the endgame.

if I protect a dealmaker, I can't strike a new bargain, so it rounds down to 0 anyway.

However, thinking about this gives me a new idea instead. I can still accept the bargain (I have until EOD to do so). So my compromise is that you take my power every day and help me fulfil my win condition by striking bargains with people, and in exchange I will act as a doctor and allow town to control who I protect every night. you get an extra doctor, and I win at the same rate (and can protect my dealmakers too).

How close are you to achieving your Win Con? I'll support extending the game for you.

There are 14 people alive. There are 4 people who are either me or people who have bargained with me. These people must comprise more than half of the number of people living. So with 14 people alive, I need at least 8, so 4 more. Let's say you exe someone, the mafia kills someone, and I strike a bargain with someone. That would lead to 12 people alive tomorrow and 5 bargainees. The next day would, hopefully, be 10 people alive and 6 bargainees, which would allow me to fulfil my win con.

So tl;dr if town + mafia avoid killing my bargainees (which you shouldn't have an interest in doing anyway since I picked bargainees that weren't juicy NK targets or extremely scummy people), and people accept my deals, then I'll win on Day 9. If town cooperates with me in achieving this (accepting my bargains, etc.), I will use the doctor ability granted to me by Kyle to protect whoever is town consensus every night out of goodwill.

1) double targeting isn't allowed, so kyle can only steal from me every other night. however, I can protect every night regardless and intend to alternate between jack and TSP.

2) ability thief cannot steal factional NK (kyle can ask dunia for himself to confirm this), so no, the NK wasn't lost because kyle took it from me. I am 3P and I don't have a kill. go find the mafia instead of exeing me because you have no better ideas.

I intend to offer dyslexicon, hollowkatt, or JPIC roleblocker tonight. these names are chosen because I think they're reasonably unlikely to be either NKed or voted out. inform me if you have any objections.

It's not clear to me if ability thief can steal factional NKs. But either way I'm town. If ability thief *can* steal factional NK then Kyle would have an NK, and he doesn't ability thief *can't* steal factional NKs, then why was there no NK last night?

Also it doesn't make any sense for me to play like this as mafia, nor does it make sense for my role to be given to mafia alignment instead of 3P (especially when the original role was one of the most memorable 3P roles of the year).

update on this - no ability delayal mechanic exists. I got told about LC immediately and kyle later because of a mixup (I didn't specify which power - night action or vote redirect - I wanted to gain from my N1 PM, and epi had to ask me, which made him tell me that LC accepted).
