Sure. I'm about to go to bed, but here's where I'm at.

I think some of the players who are steering the thread and maintaining a cohesive, team-oriented approach are town. This includes JJJ and Sloonei. There are probably other such active players that I haven't had the chance to interact with, but these two are standouts.

Tutuu has been high activity, but low commitment to her reads, I don't think there's much sincerity behind it. I can dig into it tomorrow to see if I still feel that way.

Nanook is in a slightly similar boat, one post that I didn't care for, but overall has been fine. I expressed suspicion of him earlier, but when I think about it, I'd expect more slanking from him as mafia.

TSP and Bo I think are town due to volume and content. Bo in particular seems extremely comfortable and fluid here to an extent that I've never seen from himn, and he's been the Day 1 yeet in multiple recent games.

These are the players that have stood out to me thus far. Thanks for asking, this was a useful exercise for me too

It is both.

I've seen reasons for both Ted and TSP to be town. Al on the other hand posted an awkward readlist yesterday and not much since then.

If this game happens to be multi-ball, Nanook and spf should be given another look. They were both suspicions I had earlier on before they claimed mason.

ted looks very aligned with marmot and also could possibly be on the other team

the consensus on tony is that if he’s a wolf he can’t be with marmot and would only be on the other team

so to me it makes more sense to lunch ted first

Everything ted has said tonight has made me believe he is mafia. I don't say that to discourage ted if he is town, or to bury him in the eyes of others. It's just an honest reflection on the events of this evening/early morning. I encourage others to read our exchange(s) and make their own assessments. TSP has looked as though he is actively trying to obfuscate and derail the thread at times. I do not know why he would be doing that as either alignment.

I could find absolutely zero direct references to Al_sama in Tedxtr's ISO

On the other hand, I could find several direct references to Marmot in Ted's ISO. Ted ISO'd Marmot and concluded that he was a villager (https://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewt ... 70#p762270), and he spent a large portion of d1 defending him.

In spite of that, Ted decided to vote for the person that he had previously made a towncase on over the person that he had no direct interactions with whatsoever

idk if it's intentional or not but you're already misrepresenting me by a huge ton

when EoD approached - i got actually good points instead of "he's slanking" that I even agreed with. I admitted one of my main reasons for him being town (which can be tracked - i put it in the tl;dr version) could've been a reach when I talked with JJJ. I didn't like how marmot appeared to be defeated at EoD and felt like the PoE argument (marmot having entirely different takes from the thread and yet still acting unconcerned) was tons better than anything going itt.

I did not vote al because I felt like he was closer to rand than marmot, simple as that. his interpretation of me wasn't really wrong either - i am a pretty big factor behind most pushes on our main site, but my meta on here is entirely different - and even though everyone voted for him at EoD, I've acknowledged the possibility of him being still pretty =rand as opposed to marmot. The stars could've aligned for him, but even though he popped in to vote for me - he had more reason to do so than to vote for Marmot.

I have a hard time believing this. You had just finished ISOing Marmot. You came to an apparently firm conclusion that he was town. If I'm reading the progression correctly, this ISO is what inspired you to ask Alison for her case in the first place. So up to this point, it looks like you have a read on Marmot that you believe in, and you want to test it out against the reads of those who feel differently than you do.

But then when you asked Alison to explain her read, instead of engaging in a constructive dialogue with her about your reads on Marmot and what differences you saw, you said "got it." What part of "Got it" am I supposed to interpret as "I disagree with this read, Alison"?

Alison is tough to move and it felt like the case was weak, it was a singular reason and it's tough to engage on a point of "this is w/w"

i didn't feel like it needed attention, period. if you can't see it then you're probably pretty tunneled

i don't think in your experience you've NEVER asked someone for their reason, got a weak response (even though you town read that person) and you felt the need to bash on them and change their mind when the case is thin anyway instead of just saying "whatever, moving on"

I still don't get how my progression is unreasonable / what you don't understand about it

Why did you not say any of this at the time? You initiated a conversation about Marmot, specifically requested information about a read on him, and then did nothing when you got a response. Later on you downplayed the case against Marmot and then repeatedly complained that no one was giving you clear reasons to suspect Marmot. But when you got that first argument for Marmot to be scum you did nothing. You didn't argue with Alison to try to sway her off her read, despite having just ISO'd Marmot and come to a town read, as you say. I question your entire progression on Marmot because it does not actually look like you were invested in reading him or challenging the reads that other people had on him.

Okay. And your response to that was "I can vote KZA." It was not "I can vote for Marmot" or even "I can vote for either Marmot or KZA." i believe before that post i've already made a post on kza, asking canucksians to weigh in with thoughts there - it was because i had that reason to think he was scum and nothing too villagery for him that i've seen
