A Failed Meeting

After a day of investigating, the agents couldn't find anything. So they decided to hold another meeting, in the same building.

But as they got to the meeting, only 7 of them arrived there. One of them wasn't in the room. They waited for an hour, but she didn't come.

Then the phone ringed, and one of the agents picked up. It was from the police. Apparently, their friends' body has been found in an alley, with multiple shot in the chest. She had no objects with her. The briefcase was gone.

Was it the right briefcase? Or one of the decoys? They had no way of knowing. They left in silence and went to their respective hideouts, wondering if they would survive for the night.
