This feels like a "get off my back" post on Kate. It took a good bit of Kate outing the "slip" and scumreading tutuu for her to respond at all, and this is what she responds with. I'm working under the assumption that tutuu knows Kate is a very good townie and is often right on her confident reads. Most townies would think Kate tunneling them would raise alarm bells about her or at least question her reasoning.

This and then the general exaggerated suspicion of Zenon feels self pres minded. Zenon's done a lot but there's not much thought put into the Zenon read. Tutuu's initial reasoning for voting Zenon was that she wasn't obvious town out of the gate and then that just didn't evolve even after imo Zenon's approach to the game was towny. I also think it's a disproportionate amount of confidence to what the read actually is.

I feel pretty good about Kate, Falcon, and Dubz and they're all voting tutuu. I don't feel as bad about Rondo as I used to since I think he could have just changed his playstyle because of the game shape. In Solar System there was a lot of apathy and not much thread flow so Rondo needed to be the hyper active player but there's not the same need here.

I'm caught up now and I think tutuu is likely just a hit for a couple reasons.

As far as my own read on Tutuu, I don't really have one. I think the all caps thing and her playstyle so far is a conscious choice in a way that it masks her alignment and I'll be better able to read her when she isn't doing it.

There will be SPOILERS in this game if you haven’t seen the movie. I have taken liberties with some plot lines, but the essence is the same. So...I’d suggest watch the movie before playing, because it’s an amazing movie.
Also note that I have attempted extensive play testing with the balance of this game, and while I think it is as fair as I can make it, it is a role madness type where things can swing wildly depending on choices made. In the spirit of all things transparent, there are elements to this game that some might consider “unconventional”:
-There is vote manipulation tied to role abilities.
-3rd Parties have the opportunity to change alignment in this game, and have been notified as such.
-There are no jesters, no death millers, no resurrections. All lynch reveals will be genuine, with alignment given. Most importantly, host posts and messages directly from me will never lie.
All relevant info will be revealed postgame.

Under other important notes it says 3P can change alignment. It’s kinda buried, I didn’t know it was there till someone else mentioned it.
So then purple would be the 3p, I'd assume. And all green roles are town and not able to be changed.

The difficulty this poses is that no one is chatting, so reactions/distancing/bussing is nonexistant for reading purposes.

I don't think distancing or bussing exists now regardless of how people chat. If there is only one mafia and 7 3p some traditional scum tells won't work. I think a person who knows they're guilty and hunted will act differently than a person who knows they're innocent but the 3p can genuinely hunt 3p or mafia and the mafia can genuinely hunt 3p so there's not the dynamic of scum knowing everything or having partners.

To explain my push, it's like you're trying to reaction test and be chaotic and do what I associate with town Rondo but not taking up the same energy or thread position as in Solar System. It's quite possible you just switched up your playstyle this game but I also think that specific switch would benefit a sin to make.

Over the last 5-6 games I've played, on different accounts, I find that getting town read is a whole lot easier than people think. Surprisingly easier when I'm mafia too

My trick was acting like a bad player. Many people I've played with over the years used to refer to me as "trash" among other things.

I was always tickled when I'd read "I don't think they are good enough to do that" while they slowly lose to me. Humans will ignore what's right in front of them as long as they have a bias in their mind about you. Mafia is just a long term manipulation of people's perspective.

The only downside to this strat is how much people will shit talk you outside of game and disrespect you.

I do this strategy on secrethitler.io. I'm pretty new there so when I'm fascist I just blatantly make terrible votes and people assume I'm new and dumb instead of fascist.

I think you need some more experience hosting before making comments like this. Everyone knows you can't "draft" pregame. What if someone quits? Or dies in real life before the game starts? I've been hosting for a long time. I would never do a "pregame" draft.

No, not everyone knows you can't draft pregame and not every site culture is the same. I've seen a few games with draft mechanics on PerC including playing in one and there were no significant issues with it. If someone quits pregame they would just get subbed out.

I considered the possibility of John Doe drafting mafia pregame. I lean towards it not happening because when I had experience with draft games there was a clear pregame phase where everyone had to confirm their roles before it started.

I mean, if it's possible to end the game after 1 day Scotty would have designed it knowing it could happen and willingly taking that risk. I was thinking of nailing scum for the right reasons rather than luck tbh.
