When you disagree with the main vote target, you fight it, you don't just quietly acquiesce to it. You not really caring about how anne will go down makes you look really wolfy.

See you in an hour.
I disagree. I have stated 3 separate times as to why Anne feels like a miss to me. I don't have the time or energy to dissuade further, especially when I could just be wrong. I'll vote where I want, speak of who I think is correct, and move on.
If you think anne is a miss, it would be very wise to speak up since she has the most votes. That's not a waste of effort.

JaggedJimmyJay wrote: Tue Nov 23, 2021 2:36 am nutella and iaafr tend to look good in their dealings with each other in a way that reminds me of my own dynamic with Sloonei. They speak the same language and in that interaction a purer expression of them seems to emerge. That might not be super clear; it’s dependent upon an abstract connection to a specific player. I’m not sure that is a universal experience for everyone.

Anyway I like their cooperative vibe
Neither of these have anything to do with alignment but Jay felt the need to raise this twice. He also put this in a very positive light. I read this very strictly as a W stapling a teammate to a V for shared credit to both. I don't think a wolf actively preaches cred for two V like this, this is a 50/50.

Marmot wrote: Sun Nov 28, 2021 5:24 pm Mac's explanation kinda makes sense if the role is exactly what it says it is.

The thing I'm still having trouble with is why falcon is unquestioningly persisting with a townread on Mac. I get that they might be lovers at this point, but he's not even trying to read him, despite not specifically knowing his alignment.
I'm not unquestioning, I just feel it's a slot that'll self resolve.

My straight up thoughts on Mac are that he's def not trying too hard as far as town solve hey ho let's go Mac is concerned. We do have a wolf flip tho, and its only D2, so thats not damming

I've scummed with him (you remember) and I'm also not getting that "push town in the direction I want them to go" Mac either he does as Wolf.

So with that, combined with our role mech, I wager he's town 7/10 times this game

This so much. He's just saying "mafia is voting me because they want to get rid of lovers" and it's the worst. Mac can actually do stuff when he's town, and he's doing none of that here. He does a lot of treading water as mafia, which is what this looks like. But I kind of want some clarification from Falcon regarding how their role actually works, cause it's still confusing to me.
Look at it this way...whats the point of the Maf finding out when we become Lovers if one of us is already Maf?
well that's what i'm confused about, because the roles are supposed to be alignment neutral. why would a part of your role be: "the mafia will find out once you become lovers" if the roles are not supposed to be suggestive of alignment?
I don't know. I can only confirm what Mac is telling you about our role.

No, be specific. And I want @falcon45ca to verify. This is important.

Does it say in your role that mafia will know you become lovers?

If you didn't become lovers without the investigate, did you ever contemplate just not using it?
It's my understanding that the Maf were alerted when we became Lovers, but not our identities...which is most now

It's unfortunate since you're very likely town. Please read what I wrote about Nutella and tell me why that's the wrong idea.
It's odd cuz you're not town READING me, you're just accepting my slot as town. Being upset at my read on you just feels...strange given you're not really giving any thought to my slot. It's not like we've established a lot of common ground together this game and I'm pulling a 180 on ya.

I'm clearing you right now specifically because if Mac is town, you are always town, barring some weird lie from Mac. If Mac is scum, there is still a reasonable chance that you're town, but yes it is less certain.

That still doesn't seem related to your recent scum game, or if it is, I'm missing something.

Why even have the cop check if they’re essentially gonna be tied together, why not start them out as lovers? Idk feels like something mac coulda come up with to protect himself from being voted. I liked that Mac noticed that towny line from naa but then he won’t on to do nothing with it, so meh that might have just been a pocket attempt from mac.
The role works for both Mac & I the same way. The first one of us to check the other makes us lovers, and alerts the Maf it happened. We don't have a check on each other, he has the check on me. It only works 1 way

It's true. He's not making it up. That's the role. That's why I feel Mac will self resolve...either the Maf kill one of us and we both die, or if we're alive near end game

Sorry, but why is this even happening
If Mac is town, which you don't seem to really question like even a little bit.

Probably anyway, as in I'm my towny self? But that's true of the last game I just mentioned and you questioned my slot then. Why not now?

Why is this happening? Like, are you beyond questioning & reproach?

I'm also frustrated because I'm pouring an effort and a half into this game, and am currently being run up for kinda shoddy reasons and meta-comparisons.
this is exactly how i feel. barely anyone has tried to talk to me today or critically engaged with me but im probably in contention to be chopped today because people who dont know how to read me would rather just write me off as a potential wolf instead of doing the hard work of trying to read me. i should be blatantly town to anyone that's paying half attention to this game and i hate that illario is playing into the annoying paranoia against my slot by putting me in a dichotomy with mac with shoddy reasoning. i feel like the only way a lot of people in this game know how to read me is when i show emotion or when i get annoyed, and i find that annoying because i think it's cheap to clear myself off of emotion

that was a very self pitying woe-is-me post but i had to get it off my chest because the way that people approach reading my slot can be really frustrating to deal with

Re: Philosophy Mafia 2: Electric Boogaloo

Ya know, Dizzy and I scummed together not too long ago and won. While we've played with each other before (...does that sound weird?...nah) I feel it was the first time we kinda got to know each other a bit.

The next game we played, we were both town I believe. I don't think it was on this site, maybe MafiaCafe? Dizzy had a healthy uncertainty/paranoia on my slot, which is normal and to be expected I'd say after a successful Maf campaign together.

I'm not getting any sense of that here. Not even a whiff. It's like he's content to leave my slot well the fuxk alone, which I find strange.

leetic/ilario

I feel pretty good about this group. There are some others I might consider e.g. Marmot. I’ll see.
How many mafia partners do you think he put in his town list? 1 or 2?
Hard to say, I'm not really all that familiar with how JJJ would go about positioning himself & his teammates here.

JJJ is responding to my sus of him & his playstyle this game, afterwards I noticed a bit of pocketing on his behalf re: my take on Mac.

I almost feel like at max there's 1 teammate in the list, with chance of none.

Re: Philosophy Mafia 2: Electric Boogaloo

MacDougall wrote: Sat Nov 27, 2021 5:28 pm Native to Europe, rabbits were brought to Australia by the First Fleet as food animals, with the first feral rabbit populations recorded by the late 1820s. Later releases of rabbits for sport hunting dramatically increased the size of the feral rabbit population.

Today, rabbits are one of Australia's major agricultural and environmental pests, costing approximately $200 million annually.

Rabbits eat pasture and crops, compete with native animals, cause soil erosion, and prevent regeneration of native vegetation.

Introducing, keeping and selling rabbits in Queensland is illegal and penalties apply. Limited numbers of permits for domestic rabbits are available from Biosecurity Queensland for research purposes, public display, magic acts, and circuses. Before a permit is granted, guidelines must be met.

You can support a national rabbit mapping project by reporting rabbit populations.

If you have a pet rabbit, you can surrender it to the RSPCA or the Animal Welfare League who are permitted to rehome illegally kept rabbits interstate.

You must manage the impacts of rabbits on your land.

You must not move, keep, feed, give away, sell or release rabbits into the environment.
$220M annually?
