There is nothing inherently wrong with sheeping specially if you arent confident in your sr reads yourself but are on your tr. I can relate to Valentine on that which also makes me wanna tr her more.

Valentine is going beyond that and almost refusing to play the game, with a repeated "oh when will I get the energy" posting that's just performative and unnecessary IMO.

I agree with you though. For a game that's gone on for 27 pages thus far, the game feels stuck in limbo in regards to making much progress. Then again, I guess it's still D1.

What's the point of faking being drunk? Like what does that accomplish? I wouldn't really expect DZ to hide behind faking being drunk, if only because I'm aware he does play while drunk and I find it neither unusual nor a cover for being tonally off. And I say this after having tunnelled him for half of champs semis because I thought he was tonally off but he was town lol.

I have seen Maf do it far more often than town, and I've done it myself as Maf

I don't think I'm white-knighting anyone here, where exactly did that come from? At the time, I remember some dude called out being awk again and after seeing it at least three times, I started getting fed up with the comment because I feel that's a horrible base for any sort of read as I stated.

It also does serve as a blanket statement although do I really think we're going to push "X" because they're super awk? From the looks of it we're past it so hopefully not.

i'm ... kind of confused how you don't think this is legitimate because the logic feels apparent to me? wolf need to control gamestate to push lims. if person not exerting tons of pressure, and they're not like, prone to completely freezing/inept at posting as wolf, is more likely to be town.

like i don't even feel like it's coasting because daughter is being more blatant about it. "when will i post game related post." is the motivation as a wolf saying something like that to just be... a cheeky, aloof wolf? it doesn't really sit with me as something i believe in.

Do I think Chelsea fits that mold? From what I have specced in cats vs dogs and another game (one was town Ave the other was maf), she's very confident and boastful regardless of her alignment.

That's not what White knighting is in my experience but I don't think you're wrong that I did insert myself into the conversation because it was annoying me that it was happening. It's up to others to think if it's villagery/wolfy but I'm not really wanting to go down this conversation topic because I'm not worried nor do I really think the effort is worth it to go over a throw away post I made in semi-annoyance kek

I believe it's not any longer used this way (based off recent research), but I'm old AF & that's how I use it/was using it.

I don't think I'm white-knighting anyone here, where exactly did that come from? At the time, I remember some dude called out being awk again and after seeing it at least three times, I started getting fed up with the comment because I feel that's a horrible base for any sort of read as I stated.

It also does serve as a blanket statement although do I really think we're going to push "X" because they're super awk? From the looks of it we're past it so hopefully not.
Did you "shut it down"? I mean, it doesn't even seem like you remember the player it was happening too...did you step in and call an end to the push based off awkwardness?

YMMV on how much pushing there's been, but it's like def not a stretch to imagine town seeing the several posts in thread expressing some level of skepticism/wariness around awkwardness, anticipating the (bad) direction that might steer the phase in, and like, saying something abt it.

&like it's fine to speculate or even prioritize your concern over the opposite world, where that's just wolf fronting, but I don't think your remarks on her slot are nearly as grounded in the thread content as hers are, and I think her posts are a lot more grounded than your post suggests, even if she didn't go so far as to compile the examples upfront
Searching & finding instances of the word awkward doesn't mean that players have been pushed for being awkward. For instance, we've now used the word several times & not been making pushes based off awkwardness of player interactions. In your opinion, are players this game actually being pushed because they are awkward?

I addressed the bit abt differences in perceived strength of the word "push" - regardless of intensity/follow-through it's not hard to imagine how someone might get there.

I've just played enough Maf to know that even tho I can disagree w/ takes, reads, what have you's between players, there's things to look for in the differences between a T/T and W/T disagreement.
