matt - you raise good points. Points that allowed me to vote him when it happened. I've always been willing to vote marshynewt. Don't try and twist this and say that you and Drac aren't teamies because of some words I had for Drac. Not to mention Drac told me to fuck off the other day, so why would you defend him but not me when he told me to fuck off?
You're bad. You're his teamie. Explain the LC lynch. Explain your connections to Zebra. Explain Dom's breadcrumbs. Explain explain explain, I'm sure town will let you off the hook again

MM and Drac have been hiding behind DH's votes for days. It's time to lynch the Marmot, IMO.
Also, let's remember the LC lynch. Last second, Drac takes his vote off of himself and Marmot votes LC.
C'mon people, puhleeze, do not let him slip away again!
Linki - Bea, Drac had been obviously not even trying. At least you look perplexed when making a decision, Drac has just been blindly following DH.
Lynch Marmot next day phase.
On the off chance this is a real lynch, motel is great, but next day phase, let's make it the Marmot

"So it has come to this," Draconus ominously mumbled to his opponent.
Motel room sized up his competition before declaring, "Mine is definitely bigger than yours."
"Hah!" Draconus laughed. "My trusty trombone will whack you off so hard. You don't stand a chance."
"Your body isn't ready for what's about to come. My beef bazooka will pound you with the force of a thousand rhinoceros."
Draconus put both hands on his weapon and swung wildly at motel room. "I normally like to take my time, but I suspect this will be a quickie."
Motel room blocked Draco's shot with ease. "Do you even lift bro?"
"Oh believe me," Draco started as he raised his trusty trombone over his head, "I can get it up no problem."
The two stayed locked in a midnight organ fight for hours, pushing and shoving, with both of them receiving blows. It looked like they could go all night. Until suddenly, motel room grabbed the end of his beef bazooka, reloaded his ammunition, aimed at Draconus and blew his load all over him.
"I'm sorry it came to this," motel room said. "Sometimes, it only matters if you finish first."

perhaps if you had presented your theory earlier, I may have had time to concider it. These lynch times are simply not convinent for me. It gives me pause for sure. I've flip flopped my thoughts on every player still alive. And even flip flopped on our zombie brother. I bring things up and see how people reply. The game I was referring to was one I immediately thought you were bad in, when I was viewing it as a dead player and it stuck to me. Lulz @ Drac thinking I'm bad off of someone else's case. That surely hasn't happened before this game, Drac latching onto other cases?
FZ - Do you genuinely think I'm bad? I'm not. What I don't want to happen is to be the last civvie lynched, again, as I was in Star Wars.
As for "NO Uing" FZ...does nobody else find it funny that she came up with that bs case 12 hours before deadline? If MM is bad, she should definitely be seen as a possible teammate.
Not that MM will ever be lynched/NK'd for us to see, apparently
linki: Bea, what do you think of Matt's response?
I agree with you here. I also agree with you that it seems an odd switch of focus for mac to move from drac to marshnewt.Ricochet wrote:Also, I'm gradually starting to think lynching motel is not a bad test option for toDay. Whoever tried to assassinate him, whether civ vigi or baddie vigi, accomplished the same thing - unlocking a potential Kubrick candidacy in motel.
Personality-wise, it's not farfetched: I spoke before about him replacing Bass and potentially getting a "chill" memo. As Kubrick, he'd have no worries in the world during the Night (except, well, potentially being outed, which, if true, just took 9 Nights to happen) and our wind to lynch lurkers died down after the Tranq affair.
Rebuttal-wise, his comeback at this concept of him being Kubrick has been weaksauce. He blamed people profiling him as being the role itself and Wilgys' death just send his angle crashing.
Endgame-wise, he is not a trustworthy player to keep. If truly Kubrick (or baddie), he can add to the votes in the interest of the team. If not baddie, his vote often tends to be in no way invested in the civ's focused cause or attempts. Therefore his vote is loose and he can either manipulate us with it or get himself manipulated.
FZ, this makes a lot of sense.FZ. wrote:I looked at Matt's post number. Until the end of night 6, he has 2.5 pages of posts, and since then, he has another 2.5 posts. Yes, he definitely started posting a lot more since he found "evidence".
Now, the tone is different, so I don't know what to make of it, but it's a lot easier to focus on one person who has alleged evidence on them, then to focus on others. I wouldn't be surprised if Matt really believes Dom did find out something about MM, and maybe he did. But pushing for MM, especially if he turns out bad, would give Matt a lot of credit and make him look better in the eyes of the others.
I don't know if this is something we should vote by, but I had to put it out there. It's been bugging me for a while. We have the similarities of relying on evidence in this game and the one he was bad in, and the post count similarities. I think he posts less as a baddie when he doesn't know what to say. Dom dying made it easier to know what to say.
Please tell me what you think and if anyone remembers how he was in other games he was bad in, that would be helpful as well.
Except I'm not bad. That's the problem. You can look at me. And you should. I know I've done questionable things. I'm a crap player but I'm a crap civ player.DharmaHelper wrote:What I'm seeing is a Wilgy/Sorsha/bea Trio makes more sense than Mac/Wlgy/Sorsha but that's just me.

Matt singular focus on mm feels about par for normal. Even to the point of repeating dons quote over and over etc. He does tend to tunnel quite a bit when he's positive he's right (which is usually) regardless of whether he is actually right or not. His attempts to be less "matt" in play style (more like beginning of the game matt) are understandable, but tougher for me personally because cray cray Matt is the Matt I'm used to.
