Re: [ENDGAME]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren
na - you did a great job. Honestly, going into last night I was "It's either vompi or Metal is effing with me." You were really giving me pretty civ vibes when I was interacting with you. You won based on skill. Well done!Metalmarsh89 wrote:In hindsight, it would have done wonders I think. I went with llama because it seemed clear to me that he was Lars and could double-vote. I really couldn't have gotten any luckier with the players lynched though. I won based on circumstance more than anything.bea wrote:awe - well played metal.
I think that's the first time I've ever been killed by both the baddie and the ninja. *giggles*
Great job goosey! This is a very interesting concept. I wonder how it would have worked if I'd have let myself get lynched. I thought about briefly voting myself on day 1 when I was getting votes.

Re: [Day2]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologi
nope - no random at all ever again. I just needed to get my feel for the micro aspect of the game. I used to be a pretty decent speed player - but I've not played *quick* games in AGES - so I kept thinking day 1 I had more time- and I really -when I re-read - and saw how vocal you were on d1 - made me be all "FUCK!!! FUCK!!! I FUCKED UP HERE!!" and while I was trying to show why I was changing my vote (re matty's weird reasoning - ) the fucking vote ended.
honestly - at this point - matty has to make a really great case as to why I SHOULDN'T vote him.
Because it's where my natural insticts are telling me.

Re: [Day2]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologi
Marsh it is! I'm going with the one you suggested. I was Beatrice828 on sites for like ever - it was always naturally shortened to bea. If somehow somewhere someone just decided they would refer to me as 828 - even though it's my birthday - I would still be - "just call me bea. I'll recognize that." - Sorta like A person and "matty" At some point, He'll just be Matty. See what PA's habit of using real names gets you Matty?Metalmarsh89 wrote:MM works, or Marsh, I'll notice those easiest
There's only one way MR could have died, and that's because of Lars Nykvist's role of getting the possibility of a double vote. So that means Wombat or llama had that role, and based on llama's statement about switching, I believe it was him. Yes Llama originally suggested a no lynch, but he also apologized to MR after he voted, possibly insinuating MR was going to die. Llama also clarified that a tie would result in a no lynch, so there's more info to back that theory up.
thellama73 wrote:Changing my vote for reasons which are my own.
Sorry, MR.
There's the other possibility that Wombat has the aforementioned role, but I don't believe that is the case based on the above information.
And - your thinking is exactly what my thinking was. Before the night - I was convinced that either Lama or Vompibat was Lars, just wasn't sure which one. After the NK - I think you are right as well.
So - who do you think? vomibat or A Matty?
I know I'm a civ - so I've obviously taken myself out of that equation.
I'd also like to hear from both of them before I vote, because - hellz bells Marsh - you could have killed llama. Don't think I'm not also thinking that as well.

Metalmarsh89 wrote:Sorry to see you go llama. I think I realized why you switched your vote in the end yesterday.thellama73 wrote:Aw man.
since you have time - would you care to elaborate on his reasoning? Or is it still something that can't be talked about?
I have issues with the tie lynch and the fact that MR died anyway. I think I understand *why* MR died, I just need bit of help connecting the dots.
Also - what do you think of APerson? or Vompibat? Or Me?
awe - MM - that's what I'm calling you - is that ok? or do you have a preference for something else?
you re-read the REAAAAAAAAALLLLLY hard to re-read thread too. YAY YOU!

RIP Llama - that sucks.
So.....who we looking at today? I've got nothing but my slight ping on matty. If I can't find anything else, it'll be where my vote ends up going...

Re: [Day1]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologi
yea. IDK - cuz I know matty is always saying things that make no logical sense - It's frustrating when he's civ and also useful when he's bad so I see why he still does it.
And for as much as his vote makes me all "wait? wot?" the defense of vompi makes me pause a bit. I know they always do, but that post read genuine to me - ya know?
And also - there is only one baddie. So it's not like there's teammate defending going on...

Re: [Day1]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologi
That's fair enough - what do you think of my point about AP and his fairly lame reason for voting MetalMarsh? I know my random was lame but AP said he did it because MM was too quiet - and a look at page one says that he was anything but quiet.thellama73 wrote:I'm happy to talk at night. I had to make a quick decision once I decided to change my vote, and I felt like I was getting a bit of a bad "look how helpful I am" vibe from MR. Sorry, MR.
I can elaborate a little. I was pretty sure that the lone baddie in a game like this wouldn't miss the first opportunity to lynch a civilian, so I wanted to protect you from being killed.

Re: [Day1]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologi
how do we feel about talking at night? In a game this small and this fast, I can't see any practical reason to avoid it outside of the last minute PM by our one baddie.
I do think though it might be a risk I'm willing to take. I can't see any way around talking at night and still making an informed decision.
thoughts? Anyone?

So - I reread the thread. (I know - it took foreeeeever. ) And in this kinda bothers me.
Metalmarsh was waaaay more vocal on the last page than I was. How is that suspiciously quiet?

Re: [Day1]:Redacted Case of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologi
bah - this is harder to do in such a fast paced game.
been forever since I played any kind of speed game. I forgot how hard it can be.
I don't really have any supisions on anyone.
random says metalmarsh. I feel badly voting someone I don't even know.
Have to vote in the other game, will try to hurry up and come back and see if we can settle on someone for any sort of reason.....
