Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (End Game)

I first heard it from lorab waaaaay back in the day like first bts? Maybe second? I do admit it was something that wasn't really commented on by the name in game much. Mostly the debate as I remembered it way using the info vs not using it.

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (End Game)

Awesome hosts are awesome. It was fun having bts for the short time I had it. I was super lame this game. Way too much going on to keep track of for me. My role was super awesome but underused by my own fault.

Well done winners!

Love to you all. And special thank yous to our hosts who have once again provided some massive recruitment fun!!

Still can't believe I was alive at the end. Imma chalking that up as a win for me. :p

TH -

You say that sarcastically, but it was still awesome. And it's one of the strongest first memories I have of you when I was a noob mafia player and just observing rather than playing way back in the day. Showed you to be a player who could think outside the box and helped you to become the player you are now. Don't sell yourself short.

point still stands. Rare as it is, it could happen.

I do agree with you though. If he is the Merc at some point we have to deal with him. I just don't think today is necessarily the day.

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Day 12)

I think that given the position we are in, we will gain more by learning the info from a LA lynch than we will gain from civs and baddies alike all voting to take out a potential SK.

For the moment I'm willing to take Sawyer at his word. I think it goes without saying, nor should be any surprise to Sawyer, that this can change if I feel it needs to.

Also - it's not common by a long shot, but it's not completely unheard of that he could help the civs. I seem to remember a certain Big Bad Wolf (TH) being quite the help to the civs, particularly Bo Peep in that storybook game on LP way back in the day......

epi - this is not the last recruitement game. I'm not bad. Please see it. I'm also not good either. i'm a vote for hire or an easy lynch bandwagon. ;)

linki - epi - it would treat me awesome if I had it.

Are you newly civ? or newly bad? Because I KNOW i'm not recruited and I know you have to be. Which team are you on?

for realzie dealzies kids - if you're a civ now's the time to claim it. For god's sake, I ccan't believe I'm the one to give an uninformed person a hint.

Re: Recruitment Mafia IV: Dawn of the Clans (Night 10)

There are still unrecruited roles out there in their post they specifically said that neutral roles were going to be limited. In thiI kns last challenge - that if I remember correctly was supposed to go to the baddies, and it was the last recruitment opportunities that the hosts talked about.

I know I'm so very uninvolved that I've not compeleted a single thing that would recruit me to a team and no team who could have recrutied me based on my roll found me usefull enough to take.

Here's what I 100 percent know - I'm a neautral and I'm mostly drunk and it's the first time in days I've had free time to actually engage and play the game.

epi - take it for what you will.

also more linki - epi - in the win conditions there is a space for neutrals. it's in the win cons Is it really so hard to belive that thare might be a player or two or 5 who might fall into the catagory that the hosts saw potentially happening?

From the host posts themselves, both nights were the same night.
From you - you have weird night powers.

I can see (not a specific role as every new position I have to look to see what my powers are) how both of these could be true.

Canucklehead wrote:I'm feeling a bit moorless in this game right now, tbh, which is entirely my fault for not doing enough to role research/keeping track of powers and missed things and all that Apple Monkey type stuff ( :p ).....and I honestly don't see that changing.
But I agree with apples that even the most neutral of neutrals need to essentially play as civvies now, because all the kills floating around are not great for the neutral win con, and helping the Cubs find the killers means we're less likely to be both nk'd and lynched....
But since I've been neutrality grand central for the game thus far, I'm a bit hooped for actually forming opinions on who's bad......damn my laziness-disguised-as-neutrality!

All that to say, I want to look at bea. She just has not been Civ bea this game AT ALL, and I think that the guilty conscience she's feeling and all her apologies stem from feeling like she's letting her teammates down. I haven't done a read-through of her yet, so no idea if I suspect her of one team more than the other yet....but my gut says baddie bea is afoot, and I need to follow my gut (if only as an attempt to get my head actually into the game....)
<3 you canuck, but your gut is incorrect this game. I am neutral and busy and admittedly half paying attention. I can honestly say that everything in your first paragraph is equal to where I've been. I haven't researched, I have very few ideas as to who to suspect and the small pings I do get are pretty much based on reading other people's work. I've been super slacky. I thought I was up for a game, and it turns out I'm not because inevitably, when I decide to do anything in my limited free time, all hell is going to break loose in my store and I'm going to exhaust my brain power on that.

I feel very badly for that. And to be honest, I wouldn't at all be surprised to get lynched. I can easily see why. My participation sucks it and I don't see it getting super case makey any time soon. For that alone, I feel badly not to any particular team, but to all of you and our beloved hosts. You all deserve better.

But I could be wrong. Personally I think Lorab, Devin, and Reywas are bad and I will be looking into them more intensively for the next day. Along with BWT -- I liked Rico's case and could definitely see BWT being Ubzimbabwe.
Eye me all you want. I am not bad. But please, ask me anything. I have nothing to hide. :lorab:
Why are there so many songs about Lorab
And what's on the other side?
Lorabs are visions
But only illusions
And Lorabs have nothing to hide

So we've been told
And some choose to believe it
I know they're wrong, wait and see
Some day we'll find it,
The Lorab connection
The baddies, the neutrals, and me

Who said that every post
Would be read and answered
When pinged on the scum radar
Somebody thought of that
And someone believed it
And look what it's done so far

What's so amazing
That keeps us thread-gazing
And what do we think we might see
Someday we'll find it
The Lorab connection
The baddies, the neutrals, and me

All of us under her spell, we know that she's probably mafia

Have you been half asleep?
And have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name
Is this the sweet sound
That called the young recruits?
The voice might be one in the same

I've heard it too many times to ignore it
It's something that I'm supposed to be
Someday we'll find it
The Lorab connection
The baddies, the neutrals and me

La da da di da da daaaa....
this wins the thread. :omg:
