i accused you of having a grudge because i was bothered by the way you were talking to me w/'bite me' and just generally lingering overall feelings i had that i lashed out over, it was not-alignment-relevant so you should probably come up with a better reason to clear me if you're using that, same w/what i know you're clearing Crich for honestly.

i was annoyed at the game so i came in hot, although in practice that sort of extreme response tends to net better reactions. I explained my view of the gamestate a few posts back and I don't think it's hard to follow my thought process

the idea that you'd override mac and nanook tunneling him and risk the blowback there is not exactly convincing

or that you had a ton of words to dedicate to spf being mafia but very few for wilgy and that feels like a notable disparity

i looked at the scumgame and your treatmeant of wilgy here is not really at all dissimilar to your treatment of luckbox in that game

Didn't have reasons to townread him. His start of day sucked with him just sticking a vote on me saying I was "outed" and I should be killed immediately. The other wagon for a majority of the day was Alexa who I was townreading at the time and he was on the wagon.

During EOD the other wagons were Alexa, Nanook, you, and FingerSplints. I didn't want to vote out Nanook because he had a towny moment right before EOD with his kinda "fire" towards getting Wilgy wagoned. You were a possibility because you were kind of just there but your defense against Alison gave you some sort of edge over other options. FingerSplints was the only other "good" option because she wasn't too active and had a weird lazy solve that included Alexa who was top wagon and Illario. Alexa I was flat out strong townreading and never voting then.
But Wilgy just looked bad for most of the game. Plus he wasn't actually "self-pressing" onto FS so figured those 2 might've been partnered? So put the vote on him and hoped for the best.

i dont think that drwilgys posts are objectively towny but they are kinda towny through the lens of meta IMO - wilgy has made several posts that show a significantly higher level of confidence/assertiveness than anything he posted in the most recent wolfgame i saw from him

so let me reframe my thinking

i am not considering tsp as mafia. some of the stuff he's said sets off alarm bells and him not reading the game is irritating, but whatever. i had the previous players as town and i am not going to reconsider. i am fine losing to that slot if it is mafia.

that makes 2/3 of the clique mafia, which mostly explains why the nightkills have played out the way they have. at a minimum, one of you threw wilgy under the bus day 1 because he's a weaker scum player and coasted off the momentum from that vote. this has resulted in a decidedly mediocre series of eliminations on people for posting too little rather than actually being scummy. (dolby basically quit on the game which is a really cruddy thing to do, but whatever)

it is basically impossible for me to hide my irritation at this situation, which is assuredly not the best form, because i need to actually convince whoever in the clique is town that i am town. and generally people are reactive and me being irritable and cranky isn't going to win me any fans. and of course at this moment the scum in the clique want to provoke me to keep that going.

it puts me at a bit of a loss, frankly, because that requires 1. identifying the town in the clique and 2. appealing to them, and frankly i'm not a good enough player to do either of those. i'm just writing this out in the hope it makes sense to someone i guess

(this was the somewhat greedy reason i wanted dolby flipped because i could argue this in my defense).

any rational person could see that alison/me makes no sense as a team. but this is the solve stay positive friend is advocating. she is not a ridiculous or irrational person, so why is she proposing this? it is because she is mafia and does not care to think about the game rationally, only in terms of narratives that are convenient to her. she does not care about solving the game
oh and just to clear things up, i think that gira was actually right that it was illogical for me to believe that he and dolby worked as a team. i looked over the interactions between gira and dolby and thought that they were compatible (and no, i didn't find think his point about not voting for dolby on d2 was a compelling reason to dissociate the two of them), but i didn't look at the interactions on alison's side and failed to factor in that they looked pretty clearly unaligned with each other

this was the first post i thought was actually pretty towny from gira because the logic was actually correct, but i guess it'd be pretty easy to make this post from the POV of a wolf that knows he is being incorrectly paired with another player for bad reasons

spf is trying to propose the possibility that the wagon on falcon was all town

this is a patently ridiculous idea from my point of view: the only three people alive who did not vote falcon are me, dolby, and nanook. for me to accept that idea i would have to accept that the mafia team is dolby/nanook and nanook just kind of passively bussed dolby and let town drive itself off a cliff. but i don't think that's what he'd do as mafia, and he was raelly trying to get people to vote dolby. so that idea is outrageous from my point of view, and it should be obvious why i reject it

now, from her pov you have to have the consideration that the team is me/dolby. this, again, doesn't make a ton of sense because i easily could have let myself vote falcon after my rereading earlier in the day, so again that assumes i'm really desperately bussing or something. which is possible, i guess, but i don't think it would seem the most likely. but regardless: dolby replaced alison. go look back at alison's iso. it is not very long. i was the one person in the game that alison pushed. we make absolutely no sense whatsoever as a mafia team. this should be really obvious for anyone to see. (this was the somewhat greedy reason i wanted dolby flipped because i could argue this in my defense).

any rational person could see that alison/me makes no sense as a team. but this is the solve stay positive friend is advocating. she is not a ridiculous or irrational person, so why is she proposing this? it is because she is mafia and does not care to think about the game rationally, only in terms of narratives that are convenient to her. she does not care about solving the game
