I just want to say that I'm proud of my D1 read where I was like "This thread feels like towncore is infested"

Remember me when the tides shift blue and the skies are grey.
Remember me when you realise who it is who holds sway,
The darkest night becalms with healthy rise,
When green the blood of he who dies.

Re: Halvøsen Ridge [DAY 3]
I need to go, there's backup issues I need to sort and me on this forum won't help.
IF I FLIP DO NOT GO AFTER DIZZY OR RONDO.
You can think about them if we actually get to f3, otherwise fuck off.
THERE IS AT MOST ONE WOLF IMO IN CREATURE/NATE/BOQ
I think there's a wolf in Nate but I don't think that's his partners if so, and if he's town I don't think more than one of Boq/Creature is wolf.
I THINK THERE'S AT LEAST ONE WOLF IN ALISON/JAY
This might be wrong and I'll feel stupid if I am but I believe it.
MARMOT/FINGER/LUCY PROBABLY HAS AT LEAST ONE WOLF IN IT
I am constantly revising this last part so eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh

On the other hand, last time I opened D3 convinced a widely townread slot is wolf and was convinced not to push through they were actually wolf (Mac)

I feel like town has certain moments of unclear process because very few people have the mental process to not do anything emotional at all during a game.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 7:32 pmOkay. I do view clarity of process as an important town indicator, though authenticity is a necessary part of the equation. Do you feel that Nate has been inauthentic?EnderWiggin wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 7:29 pm You called it his solving process.
I can see the lines of Nate doing things and each following step having a good reason for the progression.
Even his listlessness had a nice little explanation.
But I think those are something you appear to weigh much higher than I. You effectively just use it to call him town.

There've been some hints today of Ender thinking about Nate, but the hints don't seem to progress to something more than hints. It's the kind of thing that I think looks like lip service, when the real Ender presence of Day 3 is just "vote Jay". Examples:
Spoiler: show
While I always appreciate someone reviewing my work, particularly a suspect of mine, this makes it all seem pointless. I think that this is an example of a broader trend for Ender's Day 3 that I first alluded to here (click), and in combination with the previous gripes of Day 2 (click). Going through the motions. I was much more focused on the Wilgy wagon when catching up on EOD.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 6:50 pm @Alison You really have to answer how the hell you thought it made sense that Ender/Jay could be wolf theatre, when clearly it is not. Jay tried to get Ender killed on D2, and he does not do that if they are teammates. Clearly. So what gives?
Without that context, all I am seeing is that two players who are very capable of nuanced, detailed cases are throwing around accusations with more flash than substance. I voiced the immediate thought that came to mind, which is, hey, what if this is a show.
I don't endorse that read now, after seeing the way D3 developed and after being reminded that the two were already harsh on each other previously.
"Man he seems to not really be putting a lot of substance into thread, for someone capable of making cases the accusations are all flash and fire."
We both know I can make detailed cases as scum.
How has it not reached you that I don't have time or brainspace for me quoting 50 things to convince people I'm right only to be wagoned anyway.

Re: Halvøsen Ridge [DAY 3]
It's almost like I've admitted multiple times that my irl is currently pretty stressful.Alison wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 7:01 pmHere's a condensed form of my Ender case. Again, mobile, so can't type a wall or fish out a dozen quotes.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 6:49 pm @Alison Who do you think Ender is more likely wolf than Jay?
In summary:
- I think the way he was acting at the start of the game was weird and anti town. I have seen him been needlessly cryptic as town, but I associate that more with him being demotivated or bored, and he doesn't seem that way this game. Frankly, he should know better, and I'm concerned he was using it as a shield for anti town play.
- The way the Wilgy wagon got essentially flashed at the end of D2 was suggestive of a save. He is a candidate for the person being saved, along with finger.
- He is one of the players that I think would kill Seanzie over players like Jay or Boq. Seanzie was openly skeptical of his cryptic attitude and was likely to be a thorn in a mafia Ender's side.
- He was on both town wagons and (iirc) endorsed them both.
- He is treating Rondo in a sort of kid gloves, apprehensive way. I think this fits the attitude that a mafia Ender is likely to have towards a townie that is very good at reading him but that he cannot justify nightkilling.
I definitely endorsed both wagons.
I treat Rondo with paranoia every game including town games, we have some history of this and Rondo can even confirm that. You can call that whatever you want.
This feels like some things that are accurate (I could see myself killing Seanzie, for instance.)
Some things that are conjecture (Wagon flash D2 was to save me)
And some things that are both false or nitpicky (My weirdness in GOC was over the top, for instance, and yet I wasn't demotivated there. I don't do it often but I have history including that.) (And my Rondo reads.)

Unless "deeply spiritual" is just a way for Jay to shamelessly pocket. It's funny how I have resistant to think it is, when I shamelessly emotionally pocketed Illario in Fleabag. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, and it's just more of a joke, which the second line would imply tbh.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 8:17 pmMy read on Boquise is deeply spiritual. I gleaned it from the garnet crystal I keep next to my bed. Boq and I have a somewhat unique experience to draw from, and it's a single game (champs, season 7, semifinal 3). Boq had less than a good time in that game, and it kind of became a standard bearer for him as a descriptor of his "town self-worth". Just given what happened in that game and the conversations I have had with Boq since, I have a decently developed mental concept of what town Boq ought to look like in our next game. And I think he is starting this one in decent alignment with that mental concept. He seeks to put his turbulence behind him and solve the cot-damned game. At least that's my initial impression.

Rondo is being townread by a lot so that reduces it to 3 in Creature/Nate/Marmot/Lucy.

I earlier mentioned Jimmay's early buddying of Boq. This is something I can't quite make fit. I should go back to look at it, but would appreciate eyes on if it looks weird that Jimmay is mafia and Boq is town, given Jimmay's emotional buddying. I tend to think Jimmay wouldn't aggressively buddy like that if that was the case, however this might be naive AND I don't actually remember exactly how the buddying went anyway.
I reckon I would put it lower in the likelihood they're w/w tho?

I'm not providing a list just because.RondoDimBuckle wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 9:09 amI dont want to vote ender. But he said he would provide a list by now. I will not likely have time to vote tomorrow morning so if he doesnt follow through with his reads and cases so I can gauge if he is town. I am more inclined to shoot first ask questions later. He would do the same to me if I promised something and didnt deliverDyslexicon wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 9:07 amYou're wanting to vote Ender? Why?RondoDimBuckle wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 9:04 am Ender has 30 minutes before I slam on his wagon and go to bed
Also you knew I was running a D&D game lmao.

Re: Halvøsen Ridge [DAY 3]
Man no one likes reading the whole thing where I am like "I think Rondo is town"RondoDimBuckle wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 8:43 amYeah at this point Ender would have solved my slot, so I am willing to give him the time he asked for but if he doesnt call it soon I am going to have to put him down the bottomDyslexicon wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 10:16 pmThis answer leaves a lot to be desired. I've seen little things here and there that I want to town read Rondo for. Is it possible for you to do an ISO there to get a firmer grasp?EnderWiggin wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 10:14 pmI'm around briefly. Things have been quite busy irl.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 9:50 pm @EnderWiggin I feel like you've been very hedgy on Rondo. Why? If I didn't know better, I'd be worried that you wanted to hedge to avoid Rondo to get suspicious of you.
As for Rondo, he is aware of how I read in a way that only maybe Thunal can rival. I'm hedgy on him because it is difficult to actually find something I can 100% townread him for.
Usually this will be the case.
I did hard shield him in his first few games because I knew he'd get wagoned early if I didn't.
Right now I have the same town core as you.
Everyone just goes for the points where I remind everyone not to 100% take my word for it.

Your tone towards me here is a little weird. You seem more stressed than happy that I'm viewing the game pretty much the same way you are rn?
It's coming through in a lot.
I'm also like, wondering if I'm actually right on JJJ because I read over the Nate ISO and actually felt I agreed with several comments.

This is exactly one of the things I banked on in Qualies, because people don't expect wolves to work in lockstep in thread obviously.lucy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 11:48 pmproblem with that is I want to hear boq respond first lol, I think everyone has read it, but they're waiting for you and him to go at it once before they give their thoughtsJaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 11:44 pm Would greatly appreciate any perspectives on my Boq review. I wouldn't count them out because of this.

My problem with the major walls is I legitimately haven't had the time to properly parse them.
I can't even keep up with thread as much as I want

That sounds like you're scumreading both Alison and JJJ? Talk me through that.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 11:23 pm One of the teams that would make the most sense and be beautiful right now is Jimmay/Boq/Finger, however I have a reason for town reading Boq that I think is strong, and I also don't really think Finger is mafia.
Jimmay + Marmot also makes a lot of sense, however I town read Marmot.
I'm wondering if Creature is so called threadspewed from Alison and Jimmay. Not sure about this.
