Re: [DAY ONE] The Office Mafia

Hello all - I've been skimming the game so just want to do a full re-read tomorrow to make some notes. I'll try to read from this point forward while I'm back reading so I can get and stay caught up better. I'll ask what JJJ did when he subbed in: What are three things I need to know? The more people that answer the better because I can get a good feel where to concentrate my reads.

linki - whoa

sorry to see you go unless you were bad Elo, leetic and Quinn

Re: [Night 3.1] The Office Mafia

Haha @Turnip Head love your Dwight and I agree with it.

Drumbeats, isn't it enough for S~V~S to offer several statements that can be checked and would be useful? Does she have to make all her statements in a post checkable/useful for some reason? And in your calculations could you tell me where the 26 comes from?

Re: [Night 3.1] The Office Mafia

I still haven't caught up but wanted to make a comment and then vote in the night vote. I think I missed a night vote already because I fell asleep early.

My thinking runs similarly to Turnip Head about SVS. Daisy in one of her posts explained how she didn't see SVS as boldly going down a road like this if she's bad. I agree with that having been bad with her before and having been part of the group she touched as John Cavil. I can make sense of everything except this latest thing about Jo. Does it make sense to have someone force a vote on even and odd nights, and on days where they missed voting altogether? I don't know - I suppose it's possible just not probable. So that leaves me with more time to think about SVS - I'm glad we're not voting today or tomorrow though of course I am not happy we got a day taken from us. I don't have any other suspicions yet which is normal for me at this stage of the game given I'm not caught up.

I'm going to vote Gabe and Others.

Unfortunately I will not be in the thread tomorrow because we are traveling once again. My brother-in-law broke his back and will have to have someone take care of him while he's recuperating. I should be fine once we get there its just I can't post while we travel.

Re: [Day Four] The Office Mafia

I'm looking for help because I'm behind and still have a bunch of posts I haven't read prior to coming into the thread. So, I have the following questions I hope to get answers to:

Matt did you do a case on INH or if not could you just bullet the points against him for me?
Who did a case on Epi or do we have just things that have popped up on him?
I haven't noticed a bad streak in Scotty but it feels like you guys have. Is there a case on him or again just some points that have popped up?

I think I already told the thread I am out of town through the weekend with a bunch of kids and barking dogs(for those of you from other countries this is a holiday Independence Day weekend) and then we have the drive home. I hope to be able to get on and read some more but I'm not sure how much time I'm going to get. I'll try my very best though. Thank you for any help you can give me on these suspicions above will be helpful. I want to vote for the right person.

Re: [Day Four] The Office Mafia

I guess matt is not going to answer me on INH and I'm starting to believe there really isn't a case on Epi or Scotty because I haven't heard from anyone on my question. DF reminded me however that Matt asked that question about would it be night 3.2 or 4 and that it mattered to him. Are there other things about Matt that are leading to a vote for him?

Re: [Day Five] The Office Mafia

Epignosis and Bea - what are your reasons for voting Sorsha? Did either of you do a case and I missed it or were there just enough reasons you saw in the thread?

I see why people are voting for timmer but I'm worried his lacking is due to RL so I don't especially want to vote him.

There are others to consider but these two are the leading vote getters at this time.

RIP indiglo. You may have been bad but I wasn't seeing yet. Hopefully see you next game.

It's tough to make a "case" against fifteen posts, but I'll pull the exchange I had with her:
Spoiler: show

Sorsha wrote:How is saying I'm keeping an eye on TH throwing him under the bus? Here it didn't even seem like he was considering her to be bad... which he would have no way of knowing that was the case, unless he was bad.
If I'm reading this correctly, Sorsha suspects Turnip Head, but the reasons she's providing- in my mind- would be points in his favor, not against him. Unless Sorsha is supposing two mafia teams (which I see no evidence of, because of what I highlighted in yellow), how does Turnip Head's opinion of S~V~S in a game when they were on opposing factions have any negative bearing on him here? In a two-mafia world, you're all hunters and it helps to figure out the other competition.
Sorsha wrote:And how do we both know that she wasn't bad? I don't want to be hung up on was she/ wasn't she since I don't see a way to find out for sure at this point, but it is possible she was bad. In the red text, Sorsha asserts that if S~V~S were a civilian, then Turnip Head is her #1 suspect (which I don't understand, since Turnip Head would have been right about it). Yet Sorsha is unconvinced that the killed S~V~S was a civilian. What does this do to her position on Turnip Head? She doesn't say.

My suspicion of TH relied solely on how svs would flip at lynch so at this point I have no suspicion of TH. I never know what to think when it comes to Matt. I didn't see anything wrong when looking through indiglo' posts, since bea asked me about her, except that her suspicions seemed pretty safe to me- finding the usual suspects that everyone else is talking about suspicious but nothing beyond that. Looking at splints it seemed like most of her posts are giving info about the tv show and how it might reflect into role/team mechanics and also a few safe suspicions. Didn't get to lorab or anyone else yet.

I think I'm going to vote for inh I noticed he finds me suspicious but he hadn't said why, unless I missed it. I have the feeling it's because I named him earlier + the adversity to my thoughts about svs? I dunno. He could let me know I guess.

I'll vote inh for now, not sure if I'll be back later tonight or not. I've got a lot going on this weekend & tomorrow. Tomorrow is my birthday so who knows when I'll be around.
You dropped that line right on top of a big paragraph about other things. I'm not satisfied. Your suspicion of Turnip Head was, according to you, based on S~V~S getting lynched. That didn't happen, because she got killed. Ninety times out of a hundred, killed people are good people. You now say you have "no suspicion" of Turnip Head. I do not see how that follows.
I even said back then if svs flips civ then I would suspect th, not that I actually suspected th at that time.

I don't get what is hard to understand about that.
Mmm. Let's see.

If you didn't suspect Turnip Head, then there was no reason to bring him up in this context.
What's your take on this, juliets?

My take on this is I didn't get it. Why would TH be the number one suss if SVS had flipped good? Also, this line of yours Epi I agree with entirely:

Congrats bad guys! You played a great game and deserved the win (well, I don't know about enrique). I thought both Epi and Lorab were good. Ha! Which leads me to a question. Why did you kill me before I'd even gotten my footing in the game especially since I thought two of you were good, though I may have only mentioned Epi? And I had a role that didn't have much power. Thanks for your answer in advance.
