Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 12]

indiglo wrote:Welcome Aragorn! I only just subbed in as well, so I feel your confusion and pain.

A couple tidbits that were shared with me to help me get my feet under me - to get an overview of all the day and night results, search Epi's in topic posts.

After that, I am currently working on reading all those who were killed and revealed baddies during the day posts to see what relationships I can find, so far, I feel like that's going pretty well.

Any questions, just ask!
Thanks!

I'm going to try and catch up as much as I can before I start engaging properly. :)

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 12]

Well, I've joined quite late and have not had much time to fully analyse the game yet. There isn't much time before EoD (I think?), and it's quite late here. Honestly, I probably won't be of much help since i don't have solid opinions, however I will place a (random) vote because it might still potentially help us. A bad result is better than no result at all IMO.

I think I can cover up enough ground by the next phase to form a real opinion. Sorry guys.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 13]

YT hasn't had a kill since Night 7, which leads me to believe that the team is probably wiped out. Yes, there is a possibility that one of the inactive players is the remaining player, but YT clearly isn't our biggest threat right now.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 13]

I just got in to the game in the last day phase. Looking at this game objectively, I see absolutely no reason in pursuing inactives in the hope that they're the remaining YT member (or independents, for that matter), when we know that there's a very good possibility he/she was one of the NK's. Our immediate priority is nanman, who is very likely to be some of our active players. YT hasn't killed in a long while, they're probably wiped out. I wouldn't put it passed the Bad guys to use this as a distraction from the real issue at hand.

Also, just to add in to what I said earlier, I think we should go for someone who is active but hasn't dueled yet.

On the flip side, if you just subbed into Jan and she was YT, it would have been a stupid move to kill last night because we would put 2 and 2 together. So this could be a great time for you to lay low for a while as we attempt to pick off the Nanman.

All being said, i agree with you, but I'm not going to leave that rock overturned.
That is an odd suspicion of me. I'm pretty sure there was another sub before me, wouldn't such a claim be just as likely for that person too?

Frankly I don't at all like how you've come to that conclusion.

It's hardly a conclusion. It's a scenario im putting out there as a possibility. Yes there are others that have subbed in since, but since you popped in to start talking about leaving inactives alone, and that the YT is probably wiped out, I found it noteworthy.

Nonetheless I am not currently suspecting you. If kills start trickling in from YT, things might start getting interesting.

I don't personally think this will happen- I'm more confident one of the more active people is the indie leader waiting for the YT to be wiped out or else that guy is one of the inactives. I see no negative consequence from voting the inactives at this point.
Fair enough.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 13]

Right, I voted for Mac And Bass_The_Clever. I really want Mac to flip. B_T_C dueled twice and won both quite easily, so I'm banking on the same thing happening again to get a Mac flip.

MacDougall and leetic shall be destroyed. I will listen to your protestations now.
Oh wise spirit, the clever fish had won 2 previous duels (with warriors) with relative ease, in the first bout, I might add. I was relying on the same thing happening between him and Mac. B_T_C is a Good bet in a duel, based on what has already happened.

I think I'll trust Zuo Ci's judgement here and go with leetic and Mac. If either of them flips town then at least we'll know where to go from tomorrow.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 15]

Scotty wrote:Can someone please explain the blooper vote?

I don't think she is bad in the slightest and yet she continues to get votes every phase. What role do you think she is?

Here's the math. We know realistically that there can only be one remaining Nanman and one remaining YT. Blooper is at least active enough to drop in seemingly random votes every phase. There was no kill last night, and Epi seemed very mum on revealing if a team has been eliminated.

I've already previously stated that I thought TH was Mafia, and even if he wasn't, there is a chance that one of the several nightkills from the YT could have been Nanman.

Unless you think there is still one left who hasn't been paying attention since Mac died and a kill wasn't submitted..which if that's the case, then the only two people who missed the vote yesterday are Bass and Aragorn.

I think Bass is our best choice to battle, because even if he loses, he still has a suspicious cloud looming over him IMO, whereas I think a ninja vote is non productive.
uhmm, no I didn't...

I'm inclined to side with Zuo Ci here. So far he's helped town quite a bit, so it's safe to assume he isn't leading us astray.

Boomslang wrote:I feel like I'm being set up. Literally the last post of the previous day was Scotty calling me out for a rushed vote, and then he gets NK'd. Of course that's going to throw suspicion my way.

And I realized that we didn't finish our inactive hunting—we need to vote Aragorn. Jan was absent from Day 3 through Day 12 before Aragorn took over. There's also some negative back-and-forth between Aragorn and Scotty buried in Day 13, long enough ago that he might have thought able to get away with the NK now.
I always find inactive hunting as distraction. There was (a very tiny amount of) discussion between myself and Scotty, but I don't see how you would come to the conclusion that I'd want him dead over it.

I'm going to go with the Boomslang vote too, but I'm not too sure about the DFaraday. We need to be sure about this.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [ENDGAME]

Congratulations to the winning factions! I was mostly useless this game, and the late entry didn't help. Once I get uni out of the way, I'll definitely play a game, from the beginning. :D
