By the fabled sword, of course! :tea: Mmmm, tea.

I will also be ridiculously busy, but if y'all wanna vote me, whatever. I'm a leader and such, at least of high school-aged children :D I'm gonna vote INH because Steve Buscemi, and Spacedaisy because I had to drop out of her game, and she's awesome and leader-y.

There. Did it. Yes.

Also, because I'm sad I missed my chance, this is what happens when you type "Steve Buscemi eyes" into Google images:

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 2]

I have a free ten minutes before 5. Classes start tomorrow and I'm freaking out at how much needs to be done between now and then. I want to participate, but I don't have time to read and analyze today (and I'm at work until 7). Or tomorrow. Not sure when. So I'm voting to keep it interesting, and picking two names that start with the same letter. Do and think what you will.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 3]

Today's votes are brought to you by the letter "T," as in "trapped under a tidal wave of terrible toil (of work)" and "time," specifically the spare kind of which I am in dire need.

Hmm, one has some votes. Perhaps I'll find a chunk of this Spare Time this weekend to possibly find out why.

I am voting MP for sure. But I don't know who to vote second. Any volunteers?
:haha: :sigh: Too true. Especially true, being that the pages for me are loading at a snail's pace. ARGHHHH EVERY PAGE, EVERY CLICK IS LIKE MOLASSES

Well, I managed the last four pages. Well, three, I guess, since this isn't a full page, but that's better than I have been doing all game. And you know what? I got out of it about as much as I thought I would for reading randomly in the middle of the game - people all over the place, not much consensus. So here's where I'll vote.

One vote will be for Sloonei, for semantics. The other day, I managed to catch this post at the top of one of the pages I glanced at and its wording pinged me:
Sloonei wrote:TheCapsFan and Sorsha

Of the candidates with lots of votes, they are the ones I am least inclined to put town reads on right now. TheCapsFan has seemed shaky and non-committal at times. I've not said much about him because I was trying to get more answers out of him before throwing an accusation his way, but that's out the window now.
Sorsha because I've spent the day waiting for her to explain a thing or two, but that never happened.
"I am least inclined to put town reads on right now"? What. Even saying "I'm leaning slightly baddie" or "these guys are in the yellow part of the rainbow" would be more committal than "least inclined to put town reads on." Wishy-washy weirding wording to the max. Unacceptable.

(and oh my god even getting an ISO and getting to the page with that post to quote it is friggin' torture, so no more ISOs/quoting today)

The other will be for Russ, because according to the few people posting, the dude wants to be voted. But hey, I could duel, too! But I'll go with Russ, since I'm not a fan of self-voting.

Elohcin wrote:goodness, this page is being nutso. Okay, according to Niju, Russ wanted to be voted for. And I know MP did too. SO I voted for those two.
Uhhhh, one problem....I never said this. How does a guy get 2 separate votes from people who believe he wants to be voted, "according to" other people? That sounds eerily like a Trumpism - "You know, this Russ guy, I'm not saying he wants to be voted, but a lot of people seem to be going around saying how much Russ would like to be voted, and when a lot of people say it, there's a tremendous amount of truth there. You didn't hear from me that Russ wants to be voted, but boy are there sure a lot of people saying that."

One problem - I absolutely didn't say that, and neither of you quoted a post that anyone else had said it either.

I'd vote Elo and Ninja Blooper if I weren't self-preserving, and I probably will tomorrow.
Oops, sorry, Russ - I was really going by offhand comments I think I thought I saw in the pages I read. But hey, I did say I wouldn't mind a duel myself! Makes things interesting, and gets a low poster up there.

Sorry, what? I am pointing out that Mac's questioning of TH is sort of hypocritical seeing as he also didn't explain his votes, and I'd like him to do so. It is neither a "hollow accusation" nor does it have "zero meaning." I continue to feel as though you are making up bullshit reactions to perfectly reasonable posts because you have decided I'm bad and need to bend everything I say to support that.
Discounting your oppenent? Nice.

What's the point? What significance does your statement hold? Explain. This would fail a high school Egnlsish class! I would know-- I have THE BEST WORDS!

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 7]

This is the most inactive I've ever been, and I apologize. I was in DC all weekend for a bachelorette thing, and have come back to crazy work full-swing. I don't want to miss another vote, and I also know I'll never catch up, as I don't even have time to catch up with real life stuff. I'm gonna vote DDL and myself. DDL because I think I possibly had an inkling ages ago and maybe even voted for him before, and myself because why not.

I'm not bad - just super, super lazy. But hey, possibility for prizes!

Voting Lorab and Simon, because it feels right. In my skim, I see those names, and they're still around, yet ignored? For whatever reason? I see talk of an inactive/partial inactive being a likely baddie? Too many questions?

Yeah. So there.

DFaraday wrote:I did a reread over Dom and Boomslang and reviewed their votes (all of the above, incidentally, is extremely tedious and time-consuming; it's one of the reasons I don't like case building, along with not wanting to die). Anyway, I feel alright about Dom, but if I had to guess a baddie alignment, I'd say Nanman; he makes very little mention of any of the Nanman and didn't vote for any of them as far as I can see; he did briefly suspect MP and voted Daisy, so I think it's less likely he's YT. But either way, I don't have a strong suspicion of Dom.

As for Boom, I slightly amend my earlier statement regarding him and Mac; I'd slightly prefer voting Mac. Upon review, I noticed that Boom voted MM on Day 1 as well as Day 2, and was the first to vote INH on his lynch. That does it a bit less likely that he's Nanman.

I still believe that Mac isn't a baddie per se, but rereading his exchanges with Dom and others really struck me by his wording. He framed the case against him only within the terms of him being on a baddie team, specifically referred to himself as "non-mafia aligned", and seemed particularly interested in Lu Bu. I'm thinking Mac is indy, and as far as I can tell, all of the Indies are or can be bad news.

My list as it stands (before analyzing Quin, Indiglo, Mata, Bass, Scotty, and Ninja):

Scotty (pretty heavily anti-Nanman at least, seems legit)
Quin

Indi
Mata
Bass

Dom
Boom

Bullz
leetic
Simon
Aragorn

Mac (as an Indy)
Ninja (I still think she's bad news)
Oh yeah? Why?

I think you could very well be a YT, voting to try to save MP early on, then becoming inactive enough to stop sending in kills. And on the occasions you do post, you make no attempt at contributing or analysis, which is a bad look too.

I'm going to go ahead and vote Mac and Ninja.
Nah, I'm just super lazy/busy this game, but I don't miss night actions. But understandable suspicion. Gotta look somewhere we haven't gone. Alas, it is not me.

Hmm, 7 votes on two people. Not much I can do at this point, but then again, don't really know what I'd do, anyway. I apologize for my apathy if it's screwing around with anyone's enjoyment of the game. I suppose I'll just continue to be a wildcard, voting where the wind takes me!

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 15]

Straight up, my votes are skim-decided at best, but 90% random. I don't have time to check this game consistently, let alone actually catch up, but I am enjoying a low-key game for a change where I'm not freaking out and overanalyzing whilst being stupid busy: I'm literally currently waiting to take pictures at my friend's wedding, on a weekend that follows another friend's wedding, which follows a weekend of travel, which followed a weekend of...well, you get the picture.

Anyway, I'm going to vote for not myself and whatever gives me the best chance not to be voted. I'll check back in tomorrow to see where that goes, but it appears leetic will be one of those.

DF and Simon. Not feeling a Boomslang vote, as the major argument appears to be a drive-by and inactivity for which I may be *ahem* partially responsible for in RL  I feel itchy about indiglo's sudden vouch, but that vote goes nowhere, and Simon gives me the vibes along with some pull, so yeah. DF, along with others, gunned for me for so long without much logic besides being inactive, so I'm okay there. Here goes nothing.
