Edit: Good reminder. I haven't checked if that is a standard feature or not in this version. Our polls are still limited at the moment, I am going to search for a good validated extension for them tomorrow. Hopefully we can rectify it before long. Until then we won't see who voted for what option and when, so you probably should be declaring your votes in thread when you place them.

Elo, Glorf is the nicest guy in all of mafia. This is no reason to vote for him. In fact if he is willing I will gladly align with him, because I've no question or doubt he will be a loyal in an alliance as far as he is able and perhaps even more. So what say you Glorf?

Well regardless of if he will align with me, I fully intend to protect him, so if you're voting for Glorf you can expect me to be placing my vote on one of you. Though frankly, after a month of mafia absence I might prefer a no lynch today to not give anyone the boot so quickly.

That's my way of trying to advocate a no lynch for today.

I can say, my wanting a no lynch result has nothing to do with my element, and everything to do with not cutting someone's game short prematurely. I don't see the harm in allowing everyone one full cycle of play before we start lynching people, personally.

Why would anyone feel "gross" about it? It's true. It's sound strategy.

Frankly, people should be lynching Glorfindel simply because he is going to be loyal to whoever gets him in her pocket.

This is LMS, there is no mafia team. So what exactly do you mean you don't trust me or actively distrust me? You have ELO, speed buck and I don't recall who else actively seeking out alliances and somehow you find what I said yucky? Open your mind a bit here Dom. I said what I said to Glorf, because I believe he is the only person in this game I could know to always be loyal.

Also Glorf has been clear he will not align with anyone, so lynching him for his loyalty is silly. He knows he will have to betray anyone he aligns with eventually and that goes against what he values, so he won't make any alliances. At least that is what I gather from what he said.

Also, I don't think I declared my vote, but I did vote no lynch at least for the time being.

Also, I have a question for the hosts. In order for an element to mix, do both people have to choose each other or when we send in a player's name to combine with, do we then get the result? I guess what I'm asking is, should we be coordinating with someone to each chose each other?

Hmm, there is the little red page when you are looking at the topic, before you enter it. Once you're in it, no there doesn't appear to be one. I'll look into if we can get one set up though.

I can respect that approach SVS. But I still prefer no lynch for Day 1, even if it's counter to the LMS win we are searching for. I doubt I will win, so I'm going to have as much fun with you all that I can before I'm out.

I retract my question, from context I can tell there were only two fire. Which makes me sad because I would have liked merging with fire.

Are you planning on advocating no lynches for the duration of the game?

I'm willing to place one of my three votes on No lynch, I think it might be interesting to see the outcome of it. I suspect DH is at least partially correct. I think if no lynch gets the the majority or second highest, that we will only see one lynch rather than two. I believe at least one person will be lynched tomorrow. while killing people is our objective, someone out there knows how to increase the number of deaths during a lynch, I would like information for if/when this happens again.

I am trying to decide what to do with my other votes. I'll decide in the next couple hours here before I leave for work.

Well one of my votes is going to Sorsha. I applaud her honesty about her result of last night's merger being advantageous for her, but advantage for her means disadvantage for me (as this is LMS). So that is where I am putting one of my votes.

I already said why I wanted to vote her and I think it makes sense. She said her merger worked well for her, we all want to be LMS so if it was good for her, it's probably bad for me. Nothing personal, just the game.

Well for me, right now you have two votes on people who I do not want lynched (Tranq and Golden) and one on a guy I think has info that could benefit us to know. Moving those could change the landscape for me.

I am playing from work now between customers. I must've missed you asking me why, but to give you an answer: my goal is to protect those I have listed. I am willing to place votes on other people but if my moving my vote from one person to another puts someone I am protecting at risk then it's the same as voting them. The way the votes were when I moved meant my best option for protecting those people was moving to you. I'm not out to get you and am not closed to the possibility of a different vote as long as it won't put those people at risk. Ya dig?

I was looking for people I felt comfortable entering into a partnership with and that I could actually help. Golden and Wilgy fit that well. Then Tranq, who has done me a favor outside the game and I choose to repay that in some small way by helping him remain in the game for as long as I can. Though it should be noted, I won't betray Wilgy and Golden for him. I do this without requiring any reciprocation from him, but if he should be interested in working together I would certainly not be opposed. JoH for whatever reason seems particularly interested in working with me, I don't know why but I read it as he knows something so I'm down with him being on this list. Finally Glorfindel. I do not ask for anything back from him, he's just a very dear friend so I won't actively be part of his demise and as long as it doesn't threaten the others I will protect him.

I still don't know what to do with my third vote. Leave it or move it. Seems silly to vote out someone aligned with one of those in my list.
