Glad we have changeable votes. I am dropping a temp vote on Golden because, well, because I like voting for Golden, it's a hobby of mine and i am sure he expects it, but also his temp vote randoming for a reason. Random or not?

I think prefer not to, especially this early without having discussed it. But I do know that discussing things like this is something LC likes to do himself when he plays, so I am open to sharing if people present good reasons for it.

Yeah, me too, although putting people in the position of publicly begging may make them hold a grudge against the person who made them beg, so that is something to keep in mind.

I have a "People I won't vote for Day One" list. DH is one of them due to the hatchet job I did on him in Survivor.

Actually, although I dislike "No Lynch" in standard games, I could see myself voting there, too, until we have night results and see what is what. I don't want to be annoying to the hosts and change my vote too often, but I am going to change it now.

Also, I wish whoever put than anon vote on Golden would fess up.

Normally I would agree with you, but this is a LMS game after a long site hiatus, so normal "rules" don't apply. I just think lynching people because they are nice is a bad plan. As a person who is nice yourself, I am surprised you would be the one to promote this plan.

Why not? In a traditional game I would agree. But we're ALL civvies (or baddies, if you prefer to look at it that way). No Lynch protects baddies in a standard game by giving them a place to hide and not have to take a stand on anything. That would be moot here. I just don't see the harm in it that Dom is implying. He's acting like it's somehow sinister. And, like Daisy, I did not like the push at Glorfindel for doing what he always does, acting in a courtly manner.

I may change it as well. My original plan was to vote for the lowest poster, but figuring out just who that is is too much work. This is sigs sole post from the game, and if it remains that way, I may change to him. I would rather vote low posters than no lynch as well. But I would rather no lynch Day One than lynch someone who is contributing for a silly, imo, reason.

That could be alignment related in a regular game, but everyone in this game is on their own. No one has anyone to protect yet at this point except themselves. How does preferring a no lynch make someone more suspicious? That feels like a manufactured suspicion to me to be honest, looking for a reason to suspect people, if you will.

The name of the person I combined with was not mentioned. Only the elements and the result. You were told specifically that your results involved Epi, and that he was the first to target you?

Has anyone considered that this is an LC/BR game and there are very likely one or more combos that result in target switching and things of that nature? I am not going to presume that the person I targeted and the result I got are 100% related until I get the same result from targeting them again.

No, I PMed a players name. The result I got did not mention that persons name, only two elements. Sorry if I was vague.

I don't think you can keep your element easily concealed anyway. I just need to target you and I have a fairly good chance of knowing what your element is.

I did not send in my own element with the three choices pregame, and did not mix with my own element last night.

How would we know who our doppelgangers were? And if we had an idea, how would we get others on board?

I noted a relative dearth of Epi, Eloh and Glorfindel today, especially as they all, notably Eloh, seemed fairly chatty yesterday. When I checked their posts, I see that Epi & Glorfindel each have one post during this day period, while Eloh has none.

Could she perhaps be silenced? She was pretty talkative yesterday, it is unlike her to not have posted even one time since the night post.

I am having an issue with keeping my fam together at this point, they keep voting for each other and it makes me cross. I have the no vote list I made yesterday, but I am likely to revise it after today. I was hoping this group could have a mutual admiration society, but it isn't working out that way, and even a mamma bear doesn't want to hang with a passel of contentious brats.

Coming into today I was not going to vote for Golden & Quin (my fam in Survivor, even though Golden betrayed me ), DH, my victim in Survivor that I still feel guilty about, Tranq and Bass, 2 of my top ten favorite Mafia people who I have not had a chance to play with in some time, and Glorfindel, a last minute addition to my list because I was annoyed that people were talking about lynching him for his courtly manner. I think she may be silenced or she would have posted, she was very involved and I think she would have posted if she could. I think voting for cursed people is unsporting, but I know that is not everyones way.

I am going to put the third vote on Sprit for now, I feel he has been playing a very shade game. But I realize I will possibly have to move it at some point to a place where it may count more,especially to save someone on my no vote list.

Mediocrates narrowed his eyes - what was Darkness up to? Shifting and slithering, he never fully trusted the black element, sometimes quite visible, but sometimes he wondered if he could see it at all. The Darkness seemed to be coalescing around Spirit, who watched, stoic and serene.

As the two elements mixed and blurred, dark violet tendrils snaked out across the table, striking the hearts of the other elements. Mediocrates could sense the level of wrath becoming slightly elevated, and he knew, on a primal level, that there would be more death today than there might have been. Perhaps not as much as yesterday - those poor flames, burned out so quickly!

The alchemist was so focused on Darkness and Spirit, that he didn't realize that Air and Earth had gotten into a tussle, and before he could react, a dust storm had swirled and spread across much of the table! Coughing and rubbing his eyes, Mediocrates leaned back in his chair, shaking his head and waiting for the storm to subside.

Day 2 has begun! Each player will cast three separate votes in this poll, and the top two voted players will be lynched.

Please feel free to send in your chosen player for tonight's Elemental combination as soon as you like. We discovered that some effects are very useful to be aware of before the Day ends.

This Day will last 24 hours.

I am wondering if the Dust Storm did not silence ALOT of people? Becasue people I would expect to have posted have either not posted at all or have only posted once. If not all of those people are going into the EOD with 3 votes, yes?

But this is about more than just elements, it's about LMS. And you (and jack as well) seem aggressively opportunistic, which is a threat to everyone all the time. This is why both of you got my votes, and it does not overly concern me what your elements are. Aggressive opportunistic people are unpredictable and that makes them a danger. Not unlike a killer whale. He might do some awesome fun tricks, or he might sneak up on you and kill you. Who knows?

I would rather release you into the pacific where you can be brave and free, but the host does not give us that option.

This is an LMS game. We are all out to, ultimately, eliminate each other. But even if you did not make an overt move at me, until recently , you are, to be frank, scaring me, and scared bears are dangerous bears, capiche? And you are stomping all over my "Do Not Lynch" list.

Please take the vote off of DH, as a personal favor to me, and do not put it on any of Golden, Tranq, Bass or Glorfindel (you already have one each on Quin and I which I am OK with at this time) and I will take mine off of you.
