Displaying voter names in polls and ISOs are the two most important missing features to me. I assume you're already working on restoring those (if they aren't back already). And it's only a cosmetic thing, but I miss the old black and red display. That's not something we need to worry about until everything else is back in order though.

Yeah, I came here to make sure I'm not the only one experiencing that. This is not pleasing to look at.

I think we can just clean up the presentation of the various subforums on the index page, for starters. It has gotten a bit cluttered.

A couple slight bugs with the mobile display that might have easy fixes (I dunno, maybe mobile is a different beast entirely):
1. ISO links don't display on mobile.
2. Linki posts are usually off-center and only half-visible, for some weird reason.

I’m on mobile landscape right now and there’s no iso link.

I never use portrait mode. It’s cramped and dumb.

I’ve got an iphone and there’s never been mobile iso links. Odd

I like the new "posts in topic" counter, which also seems to effectively be a second ISO link.

... which also doesn't display on mobile for iphone users. I'm assuming the problem is with the iphone and not the website if android users don't have this problem.


I just clicked on it, the link in the "posts in topic" counter displays a person's post history in reverse order, while the old ISO link displays them in standard order. That's not really a problem, I'm just pointing it out.

I downloaded chrome on my phone to have a look. The display is exactly the same:
I think Apple is just anti-town.

It's mostly not a nuisance in games anyway since most hosts are in the habit of providing ISO links for players + themselves these days. It just requires one extra step of clicking back to the front page any time I want to look at things.

maybe there's a way for us iphone users to change the settings on our end. I doubt it, but you never know

Multioquote works fine on mobile for me. The highlight quote thing does not though.

No. Weird. Woke up this morning and nothing was different, and then at some point in the mid-afternoon it was like this all of a sudden.

Display just changed from Black to Prosilver. I fixed it briefly, but then it switched back and now the option to change it is gone from my UCP entirely.

Edit: I made this post and went back and the option was there again. But it was definitely not there a moment before, and the display has changed twice without me touching it.

Yea, that was me. Editing CSS to fix the width problem properly so it can auto-size itself. Black is just a finnicky theme that doesn't want to do it easily.

oh cool. Carry on then. We can deal with momentary brightness.

My mobile display has had all of that for the last few weeks, but boo did not take credit for that fix. It seems to have just happened on its own. I wish I knew what caused some of us to have it and some us to not have it. But I do not.

The only slight difference between mobile and desktop for me now is that every once in a while on mobile the top/bottom arrows will be displayed too low on the page so that they’re inaccessible. It is not a big enough deal to require a solution.

MU has a toy that I’m jealous of: bookmarks. You can mark posts in thread and leave notes for yourself, add color coded highlights, etc.

Would that be an easy addition?

I wouldn’t have to post all my thoughts in the thread anymore.

I have sincerely dreamed about being a teacher and having my students play mafia as an exercise of some sort. I just need to think of an excuse to say it’s constructive in an academic environment.
