THE GAME was the antagonist in G-Man's wildly popular Secret Mafia series of games. This game is set in the Secret Mafia universe.

First of all, speedchuck and colonialbob are cracking me up!

Second of all, why not go by posting, or rather not posting, start with lower posters and move up. Or go the other direction? Since it doesn't really eliminate anyone from the game at this point I mean. Or we could take volunteers, perhaps there are those that would rather shift roles sooner rather than later. Or someone has mentioned they would like to keep their role a little bit before shifting to a new one. Do we want to let them? I'm a little torn. I have an ability, not a secret one and I can't decide how helpful I think it might be. Meh, I don't know what the best strategy is here.

I suppose speedchuck could be the Old Testament number too, but the verses he has spoofed are not all OT verses. I doubt he is the Pope number, but that would be a good one to fake role claim. You would imply you were impervious to NKs, making people less likely to use one on you. Of course, if we thought he really was the Pope, we could simply lynch him, making his immunity to NKs a non-issue.

Side note, whoever gets #42, don't wait until the very end of the game to push that button! Trust me on that one...

Of course if he is 91, it might be better to keep him around. He could potentially protect people, right?

So if you have an information type role, would you be willing to share with the thread whatever information you might learn? I have a role that might possibly learn information, though it's pretty limited, but whatever I learn I'm ok with sharing in the thread seeing as how I'm unlikely to stay in my current role or team, so I'd prefer to stick to this role at last for a bit anyway. But whatever happens happens. I'll look death in the face and say "Whatever man."

I don't have any idea either so I'm glad I'm not alone. Golden, it's early and I'm probably missing something big but how will we know who hasn't shifted positions? And why would those people be high on our list to lynch or night kill?

Because they haven't died yet (when you die you shift). And to the second... human nature. In a game where there's 100 roles to cycle through and only 21 people, someone staying alive in a single role will begin to stand out eventually.

I actually am voting for him so he can get a role he enjoys more.

I owe a huge apology to you fine folks and our Psychopathic simulation. We had visitors this past holiday weekend, and I've been working everyday. We're in the midst of a gas panic in San Antonio. It's starting to get better, but work has been absolutely hellish. I come home completely exhausted. On top of that I've been working on a project that needed done by today. I managed to do so and now I can finally get myself back into the game. I'm sorry guys. I will do better.

No it does not, more information can be gained by the cake vote because less people will have increased vote power. More people having more vote weight can cause less ability to sort out who might be what number, if that makes any sense. I'll leave my vote where it is.
