Hello everyone, I am here but about to go to bed. I'm excited to play though and can barely remember the last mafia where we had the GAME. I'll be back tomorrow.

Oh no, I clicked to see the vote in the poll and now there is no option to vote anymore. Usually there is still an option to vote, like when people change votes and such. Mr. GAME should I vote in the thread? I"m assuming you can't fix it since the poll has started.

Because they haven't died yet (when you die you shift). And to the second... human nature. In a game where there's 100 roles to cycle through and only 21 people, someone staying alive in a single role will begin to stand out eventually.

Oh yes of course, when you die you shift. Silly me, I shouldn't post so early. I agree someone who hasn't died will begin to stand out, I just don't know that it would make me more inclined to vote for them. Maybe as the game goes on and I understand the strategy better it will make more sense.

I will be gone in about 10 minutes until later this afternoon without access to the thread. This will be my schedule most every day as I volunteer in the mornings and run errands/take care of husband in the early afternoon.

Does speedchuck have a role that forces him to post as a deity or in bible verse form? Or is he just having fun -

geez speed, I read all the roles again and still don't get it. I see three roles associated with the Christian religion but they don't seem to fit your posts. I think I will take a nap and then reconsider.

Good morning everyone, rico maybe someone has asked this but what makes you think there is a mafia? Also, just fyi for everyone else, rico is emulating a style he uses when playing popcorn mafia which is kind of a speed mafia played on mafia universe so it's a style I've seen before. That info probably doesn't make a difference on how you feel about what he is doing but I did want to share that I've seen it before. It was not indicative as to whether he was bad or good, he did it as both factions.

Yes, that is also my belief which is why I asked him the question I did. I was only sharing what I knew in the spirit of openness.

So far I have not landed on a criteria for voting someone. I will likely wait until much later in the cycle to see if someone jumps out at me as potentially being powerful or one of the bad roles like the SK but honestly I don't expect that to happen. Why would anyone give away that info? If nothing jumps out at me I might consider voting randomly as that doesn't seem to be a bad way to go like it usually is in conventional mafia. I would only do that if I don't suspect anyone of having a bad role or being really powerful.

Nacho, thank you for asking and that is something I will think about but I'm not quite sure how it would work. What if I wanted to vote someone on your team or you wanted to vote someone on my team? Or are you saying we would just agree not to vote each other? Is it dangerous to alliance build in public? If people know you are a member of an alliance won't they be more prone to vote for one of the members of the alliance? If I remember correctly in survivor the alliances were all agreed to in private for that reason.

Just an fyi for everyone, I was "selected" to participate in an event that requires me to sing a specific song on vocaroo or youtube. Unfortunately, vocaroo doesn't work on my computer and I have no idea how to do youtube on it either (plus I'm pretty carful about my identity as many of you know) so I cannot participate. I'm a terrible singer but would be happy to vocaroo if it worked (don't know why it doesn't). Sorry to the selector, I don't mean to be a bad sport. I will be punished for not participating, my vote won't count for 2 days and I can't use any power I might have during night 1. I asked if I could reveal this info and was told yes but asked not to reveal the song so I won't. Meanwhile, I don't remember a role that has people sing but its probably something more generic like "can select people to do things". I'm off to search for it so I'll know it's in play.

It looks to me like the role that selected me is a secret role. If anyone sees anything different please speak up.

Well LC, I'm giving up and taking the punishment. I have the share function but I can only share to fb messenger, email, discord, and text messaging, none of which do me any good. It's just as well, I have a tooth thats getting a root canal Monday and it hurts like heck today which would further affect my atrocious singing voice. I appreciate your help though. I'd tell you I won't vote for you today but I'm neutered. I tell you what though, I won't vote for you day 3 if I'm in the game unless I'm absolutely convinced you are one of the super-bads.

Epi, thank you. I have been trying your solution with a test file but can't get it to work. I really don't want to spend any more time on this today and it's due today, I am just going to take the penalty. It's not like there's anyone I wanted to vote for anyway but I appreciate your trying to help. Maybe I shouldn't vote for you either on day 3.

Thanks THE GAME for lightening the punishment and I am thankful that the task was optional as otherwise I would be freaking out right now.

I could not participate. I did figure out vocaroo does not work with my computer because I don't have flash player. LC and Epi tried to help me figure out a way to post and I spent hours trying to post a test file but to no avail because I cannot use vocaroo. I can't even listen to Epi and speedchuck. So vote for me if you think that constitutes being a party pooper.

I'm literally the only role with a power type of "Passive Limitation." No one else is set up for failure like I am.

This does jive with my past experience getting the most frustrating goddamn roles in G-Man games.

Is there some rationale I should use when picking among the two alternatives for the night poll? I read the definitions but neither alternative really jumps out at me as being the best. Any help would be appreciated.

So, that was interesting. Did I seem threatening? Who would kill me first after what I've just been through? Hopefully it is nobody that knows me well. Maybe I was too active and should not post as much.

Sloonei, I don't know that there is anything interesting to share really about my reanimation. I got a pm from THE GAME giving me my new role and team I was on right after I died. Thats all there was to it.

The person or people on my team did not kill me so I don't have a desire to reveal them at this time. The role or roles they had were not any of the "bad" roles, they were pretty benign. Is it wrong that there's a part of me that wants to see everyone insanified at once? A heist game where everyone was an insanifier was a gimmicky theme I've thought about countless times.

Doesn't this game have enough going as it is?! We have 8 possible teams, a couple insane people, a sexy singalong competition, puzzles, somebody kidnapped, and like 70 roles left to chew through before this becomes a regular game.

Why? Why not the opposite, with small teams early, followed by a bigger battle between evens and primes at the end?

Because there's e.g. 25 prime roles. So clearly several of them have to go, because having even 8 or so on a team with BTSC at endgame would be fairly strong.
