Thanks for the birthday wishes you guys! I took the day off work and spent the day with my wife and daughter. A trip to Hershey's Chocolate World, Red Robin, and a nap- now that's a happy birthday!

Thanks for the birthday wishes you guys! My 4-month-old daughter decided to wish me a happy birthday by demanding a bottle at 4:30 a.m. today. Nothing says 'happy birthday' quite like sleep deprivation.

MM is correct. I live in Pennsylvania, the state commonwealth that likes to hold its primary late enough every presidential cycle that our votes truly never matter. But we have Hershey's chocolate, so I guess that's a consolation.

Thanks for the additional birthday wishes! It's been a long day but more or less a positive one. I got the one materialistic thing that I asked for- the new Star Wars soundtrack. Good stuff.

I actually listened to the soundtrack on YouTube a week or two before I even saw the film. It's actually really good. I'd have to compare to be sure, but it's might even be better than the Return of the Jedi soundtrack.

I don't think so. Beyond the music played at the Sarlacc pit, I always found it to be far inferior to the first two. I own a copy of The Phantom Menace soundtrack but not the other prequels. Maybe I ought to listen to them all and do a rainbow list. :P

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Fingers crossed for a vomit-free birthday. Our youngest threw up on Tuesday night and my wife had to clean it up by herself but thankfully it wasn't much at all.

Am I doing anything special? If you think running a church finance committee meeting counts as special, then yes. Otherwise, I'm just letting this one come and go without much fuss. My wife and I went out for dinner last night before Kindergarten registration event #1, so we're counting that as a birthday dinner. I didn't make a wish list, so I didn't tell anyone to get me anything this year. That means I'll probably get gift cards, which is fine by me.

My nephew's due date is the 11th but if he comes today, I'm willing to share.
