these are all titles of movies, it doesn't seem like they're related to buffy at all as far as I can tell.

house of wax is a 6/10 horror film so i'm voting that

is this poll important? or just a placeholder/timer to signify when the day starts?

Related question: Does anyone else get an annoying tag box follow them for a random player when they are trying to type a post? It keeps happening to me and I can't figure out how to make it stop, and at some point, the tag inevitably gets in there, and I need to delete it.

yes. it happens whenever you quote a thing that has an @mention in it. The "@lorabs" shortcut prepares the gray rectangle that puts mention tags "[mention]lorabs[/mention ] around the names, but the end result "@lorabs" is the same as the shortcut, so it does the taggy shortcut thing again when quoted.

the fix is to go back and delete the @ symbols in the thing you quoting

I think the 4 choices 4 factions thing makes sense. The Wayne's world Scooby connection also seems good, as well as the arcade thing.

are there any connections that could be drawn from other movies to other factions?

the idea that sig might have been signalling is worrisome... we should be looking out for signals and things. If the mafia finds spike then they gain a member, and also two spare kills..

sigs explanation made me feel better but I think we should still watch him close for changes in gameplay in the future.

Dr. Wilgy being a wild boy doesn't mean he should be removed from scrutiny. Wilgy is a player who um.... he's often inscrutable because of the way he plays and often ends up being taken out of or put into the pool of suspicion by process of elimination.

informing people of the usage of sodium nitrate out of the blue isn't necessarily an alignment indicator for him, but level of effort from him can be.

Player Salad is a thing Jay says when players talk about or mention a bunch of players they might vote for or suspect all at once, I think the idea is that doing it allows a mafia voting flexibility later on.

maybe never posting anything ever is a shiny new avant garde method of playing mafia

Someone else in the house watched something that was on before or after Angel so I watched it a bit. Maybe Charmed? Terrible show.

Hey, sorry. My attention has been largely focused on a different game which is currently at a somewhat critical juncture. For about 2/3 of the next 5.5 hours this game will be my #1 priority.

earlier i wanted to look through marmot's posts to see if I can see what spike might have seen in him so i'm going to start there.
