I think it should come as no surprise that I am going to VOTE WILGY

This was my first statement of suspicion against Wilgy.

The other person I am feeling baddie vibes from right now is Wilgy. He looks like Wilgy in Mountain mafia. In that game I felt like, whoa, Wilgy is playing it straight, no big schtick, this is weird. And I said so in thread and I got poo pooed. Oh I don't want to vote for Wilgy because he's contributing without a big schtick. So I dismissed it and thought that maybe I was just off base. Guess who was bad? Wilgy. And I am seeing Wilgy playing a straight game again. I could easily put a vote there today too. In fact I think I will VOTE DrWilgy aubergine.

I think if you look at these games you will see that bad Wilgy plays more straight laced. Good Wilgy uses gimmicks. Good Wilgy doesn't play like he cares, he seems to mostly just be having a good time. Bad Wilgy puts a lot more effort into looking good than Good Wilgy. Do not be fooled by him. I don't believe he is good. He started throwing in more jokes once this meta started to get brought up and I'm not buying this!

Daisy here's the problem. I've been purposely playing aloof as civilian for awhile now. People kept mislynching me because I couldn't supatown 5 games in a row. Now we are at a point where I want to play alittle more forward again mainly because it's the GoC.(Also did you see the game where I called out all but one of the baddies in emojis? That was fun.)

To argue this point with history however, did you see my performance during Vocaroo 2? What did you think?

This does make me feel better about you... it seems your vote on me was justified to you, but as someone who works very hard to purposely design their meta, I'd suggest trying to dispute what I've stated in this thread instead of the other ones.

I'm going back to bed now.

There is a host post saying he is a civ and another host post confirming the existance of a role that can create host posts with inverted alignment. It's not any more clear cut than that. Of course there may be ways this information can be wrong, just like there may be ways DH actually caught all scum by himself, but we don't count on those when playing mafia. We follow the most logical path and accept the gift given to use by the hosts. Specially in a game where, let's be frank, we are kicking mafia in the asses so hard I can almost smell the tears coming from their BTSC chats. We have spare days to test weird tangents, and we most definitely have spare days to follow occam's razor, and if that fails, follow weird tangents afterwards.

Speedchuck dies. End of story. If there is any new information from the last 10 pages that makes this post hilariously misguided, show it to me now, otherwise the first time you see me on Day 10 will be with a torch, a pitchfork, and whatever tool they use to kill the lizard thing that is on Chuck's avatar.

Sorry for my absence. I feel a few weeks ago, my knees had been sore but I thought I was fine until Friday when I was walking around the counter at work and my knee popped and gave out. A visit to the ER put me in a brace and on crutches for a week. If I am not better by Thursday I go to an orthopedic doctor. You would think this would make me spend more time on the site since I am stuck in a chair all. the. time. But, the one pain med also gave me a migraine (until I stopped taking it yesterday afternoon because it wasn't doing any good anyway) so I couldn't handle staring at the screen for long. Anyway, I apologize for missing the vote!

idk. I think I've just been generally losing interest in mafia lately. I noticed it a lot in fiddler on the roof where instead of actively playing I just became like.... a passenger, where my only contributions have been through process of elimination and like... contemporary thread posts analysis where i follow other people. everything else has felt more like a chore to me than a game. I think after this game I'm probably going to take a break for a couple months to refresh my interest

I don't know Kyle, I played Fiddler with you and I really felt a strong town vibe from you. I am not feeling that from you here and I can't put my finger on exactly why. Most of your posts in recent games I've played with you it's like I can hear your normal tone in them, but this game it's like... totally forgettable that you are even here. I would list you in probably my top two or three suspects right now. I kept waiting to feel it from you, but it's just not there. And yeah I suppose it could be you losing interest and your new job/schedule taking up your mental energy (learning about fish can be hard), but I don't feel comfortable just giving you a pass when I feel like something is off because your excuse could be plausible.

If I am wrong about Wilgy, I would be looking at Scotty next. I think I have liked Scptty throughout for his activity but the way he lept so fully on board with me about Wilgy has had me feeling a little less certain. I know that probably sounds weird, but it felt like an unnatural jumping on board. Like everyone was nay saying, then a little while later out of nowhere it felt like he was very suddenly saying Wilgy was his top suspect. But I can't really recall hearing his reasons for suspecting Wilgy. I would very much like to hear that from him. I know my reasons, and I remember Sloonei's reasons, just not Scotty's reasons. This is worrisome.

If Wilgy is civ, I feel better about INH. He mentioned having suspicion of me in Cerebus but I don't really remember any of that, so I wouldn't mind if he reminded me what exactly he felt was suspicious of me before I posted my meta case against Wilgy. If Wilgy is bad, I would very much be listing INH as someone I don't trust. Not because he defended him, but because of how he defended him.

I would still list Boomslang as a slight baddie read, a lot of lingering doubt from Day 1 and 2. I didn't like his reasoning for his votes on those days, and something about his interaction with Blooper had me feeling like it was a little off. I need to read it again.

Frankly, SVS has confused me. She said she always believed Speedchuck to be bad, but she sounded like she was defending him when she first came back in here after the tribes were merged. I kind of gave up understanding that whole situation with Nutella's role and what it had to do with Speedchuck. It went over my head. I don't find myself particularly suspecting her, just really confused by her.

I think Dom is civ. Got nothing more to say there, just that I see his town game.

No opinion right now on Epi, DDL, Quin & cbob.

Sig & sprityo I keep forgetting are even playing. That always makes me put someone into the slight baddie lean list. Especially since I don't think either one are inactive.

Blooper I think I would put at a slight town read now. I was previously concerned that her actions surrounding her first role seemed off. But why would the hosts force the players to enter in role names instead of their real names unless the players were not on the same team? I think the chances of two different players from two different mafia teams having these roles seems unlikely. So I am leaning toward her being good right now, because I have liked her posts lately.

DH & Sloonei I trust these guys the most atm.

Let me be perfectly clear here. I have the highest respect for Wilgy as a player both civ and bad. My point was not that he doesn't contribute as a civ. It was that he did it in a lot more jokey, schticky way that people often would just disregard as just crazy Wilgy. Which frankly is unfortunate because a I previously mentioned, civ Wilgy has an eye for finding baddies. But bad Wilgy tries to be understandable at least so that he looks civ I assume. His contributions in both are good. I think Wilgy is the coolest cat and I know he has an incredible win rate. So if you feel like I was saying anything disrespectful about Wilgy, that is not the case. Also, I will never again trust this meta because once it's out there it becomes irrelevant.

Finally, I am super pumped by that result. I was terrified I would be wrong.

No, because while I believed I was right, I would have looked like an idiot if I was wrong. But I wasn't so there.

So JoH was killed by Strex twice. Which would say to me that he might have been hitting on someone that worried them. So I went back and looked at those people and this is what I have right now:

sig and sloonei at first, thinking they were teammates he later backs off sloonei but still seems somewhat suspicious of sig
marmot - we already know he wasn't strex
Boomslang off and on, more on as he went on
INH definitely the biggest suspect he had, he was pushing pretty hard for us to try and lynch INH to get him permanently deaded

If I am going to say his suspicions were a factor in his being killed twice, I would be looking at INH. Also the fact that he was the strongest case JoH pushed and INH gave the strongest defense of Wilgy.

Or I might go back to looking at Boomslang again because of the fact Boomslang appears in this list and he would be someone I would think might have a reason to NK Blooper on N1. I can't see a good reason for Wilgy, LA, or LC wanting to NK Blooper N1. Boomslang I can, it is harder to hide it from the person you live with. Not impossible, but harder. We considered this briefly after her first death but dismissed it as WIFOM. And I probably wouldn't consider it on its own, but in connection with this I would.

That said, I'm concerned about the fact we have got three of one and only one of the other. And also the number of players we might have on each team. I would anticipate no more than four on each team by the second roles. And I think there were probably less than that in the first roles. I don't think we would ever have more than four on each team. And I'm not how confident I feel about there being more than three. Just the numbers seem to be getting to an imbalanced level if you consider Scotty's first role as what appears to be 3P.

Anyway, I'm going to try and take a look at some of the Evens kills. But if we think there is another Strex out there, I would be looking at Boomslang and INH.

Hold on... JoH died the first time before INH's first death and I feel comfortable with INH's first role being civ. I'm calling Boomslang as the last Strex.

I still think I would be looking at Boomslang. Marmot could explain killing JoH, but... I don't know I still think Boomslang being in that list combined with the kill of Blooper makes me feel uneasy with Boom's alignment.

Linki: I like your case against sig Scotty. I would consider voting him. As to whether I believe Boom would or would not say that as a teammate, I would have to check his whole ISO to get a feel for it. But fair point.

If there were more people here I would follow Scotty's lead and suggest some GTH reads from all of us.

I just think it would be odd and counter intuitive to give the Evil Evens the kill on the odd nights.

Here are the kills I can see on even nights:

N2 - Scotty
N4 - None
N6 - SVS
N8 - Sprityo
N10 - None

If there was a team that might have an inactive, this might be a good one to consider. But I am thinking perhaps there is someone who messed with their kill somehow. Either a block or a protect or something perhaps?

I suppose the Marmot thing is possible, but what do you make of the part about anyone venturing out into the blizzard? I take it to mean anyone out there using their ability on that Night will have a chance of dying, and if this is true what impact does it have on your theory?

btw SVS, I don't think it was you that confused me. Well I mean you did, but I think it was because I still don;'t understand why there is such confidence regarding speedchuck being the one Nutella used her power on. How did we come to this?

Ok, I think I misunderstood how her role worked. I guess I thought that would be a role reveal in the flip. But I don't know why I thought that. It just would seem self defeating to make a role whose power could so blatantly obvious. Seems self defeating. Not that it matters, speedchuck is lynched now. I just wish I had understood this earlier. Thanks SVS.

I just had a thought. If we believe that there is at least one civ role which has a mafia role for their second life, then it seems to me that mafia would want to push as many first lynches of people as they can without following through to second lynches. This might be a good thing to go back and look for. Who was keen to lynch someone and then abandoned that person to move onto the next lynch? They could have been mining for their hidden teammate.

A few quick reads/salad
SVS - She seems good right now, contributing a fair amount and I'm not getting baddie gut vibes from her.
Epi - Same as SVS he seems genuine and is contributing
INH - His push on me seems genuine so at the very least he wouldn't be on one mafia team and I don't believe he's Wilgy teammate. So he could be Even, but doubt it.
Lorab - Been back and forth on her, but I'm back to thinking she's a civ/indy
Sloonie - He still has two lives correct? And hasn't been killed yet, I wouldn't mind lynching him to even the playing field at some point. Also i'm not convinced that he's a civ. More on this later.

Oh sig... up to this post I've been leaning civ on you. But this is shady. If you were doing it because you suspect him you would have listed that reason first rather than second and said, I'll share more later. Not only do I disagree about Sloonei, but that is exactly the kind of comment that makes me feel like you might be one "mining" for another teammate. I don't know how I feel about you after that comment.

I know it's not related, lol. My role number is definitely not 9.

I'm actually concerned right now about sig and Scotty probably equally to INH right now. My main hold back on INH is he defended Wilgy hard. I'm sure his team knew he was trying to get replaced, but it was pretty clear Wilgy was going down. If they were teammates, why defend him this hard? That is the one thing that holds me back on INH.

sig I already mentioned that last post about Sloonei has me absolutely concerned. I just said not that long ago that we should watch out for players who want to just lynch all the players down to one life, they could very well be mafia mining for a teammate hidden in the second roles. I don't like this post from sig. But to me it kind of balances the opposite feeling from sig regarding the 70% haiku comment. I just can't see a reason a baddie would make such a ridiculous statement. So I am torn right now, but leaning bad slightly.

Scotty just pinged me hard. He basically is saying, pay no attention to Evens, we should be focusing on that last Strex because we have better leads there. I don't like that look either. But he knew how it looked when he said it too, so if he is bad, it is ballsy.

Lastly Kyle is still on my radar. I have seen one post from him though that I finally felt like I could hear his voice in it. When I hear those posts in his voice I know I am feeling like it's more genuine. I realize that this is a lot of gut based thoughts. But that one post took a long time to get here, which leaves me feeling unsure about him too.

I might switch off INH, not sure. If so it will most likely move to Scotty or sig. We'll see how this progresses. I do like SVS's case for INH, but I just think it's a very risky move to defend a teammate that hard when he is trying to get out of the game and is looking like he will be lynched.

This would also mean that the configuration of Pikachu 2.0 was 2 evens vs 2 strex vs 6 townies. (or x-number of townies vs x-number of indies, if we wanna go down that rabbit hole). And we still managed to eliminate two baddies in one day.

I believe that the list we are looking at lynching someone from is the list of people who were sharing the tribe with sprityo when he was killed.

Of this list I believe in the good alignment of Epi, and Sloonei. And I know I'm not bad so that leaves you and Kyle.

I'm kind of feeling like Kyle's posts in this day of the lynch are making me think Sloonei might be right about him.

I know it's not me, I'm confident it's not Sloonei. That leaves Epi, Scotty of Kyle. I will have to ISO Epi to see how I feel but thus far I've not felt bad about him at all.
