Mangoes are delicious. Absolutely eat one.

My advice: Don't bother trying to cut it up into pieces. Way too much work. Just peel it and eat it with your hands and deal with the sticky sweet juicepocalypse later.

This is a man who knows what he's talking about. Eating a delicious juicy mango with my hands is one of my favorite rituals and it's how I connect with my deepest innermost soul mango.

I was in second grade, seven years old. Our teacher told us what happened but I was so young and innocent and of course didn't understand how severe it was, and didn't understand that it was an attack.

I had a birthday party planned for that day (my birthday is a month earlier but I think I was sharing the party with another kid and we wanted to wait until everyone was back from summer vacation). Even though we lived an hour north of the city and some of the families were affected (I think one of the kid's moms was actually working near the towers that morning and had to evacuate the area), the party was held. It was at one of those ceramic-painting places, and again of course I barely remember it but every time my mom talks about it she remembers how sitting and painting felt almost therapeutic. We still have the mug I painted in blues and greens to look like Earth. I may not have understood what was going on but even then I hoped for world peace.

I had a strange dream in which Sorsha was hosting a weird game on this site. It was like a complex RPG kinda thing that took up a whole subforum, but had some things in common with mafia. There was definitely some kind of voting phase aspect, because in the dream I realized that I had signed up and then a few days later realized I had forgotten and missed a vote and Sorsha had warned that missing votes in this game was unacceptable. Don't know if it was like a lynch kind of vote or something more event-y/RPG-decision-y, I never really figured out what the game was really. All I know is that the setting/flavor/story was fantasy, like everyone was a wizard/sorceror with magical objects and potions, and that it was a long-term ongoing thing that anyone could join at any point. You could just join whenever you wanted by making your own thread titled with your name. There was a main thread that only Sorsha could post in to update the game story/events. Other than that I have no goddamn idea what was going on. Sounds like a fun concept though.

Oh man it is the same skin as the Piano It feels so weird to me now though, especially since it inexplicably puts the avatars on the right of posts Sure is nostalgia-inducing, but way too disorienting. I'm too used to the dark skin for this site (and the light one feels so harsh on the eyes) so I'm keeping it dark

Scientifically I'm pretty sure the light skin is worse for your eyes, especially because it's blue, but that may be mainly if you use it when it's dark/at night (and everyone should use f.lux anyway )

On that note, I was just finally looking up the games I've won to put them in my sig, and I realized that Heists don't seem to have banners? Is that intentional/not going to change?

gosh I've won so few games... but then I haven't even played very often so it's all relative. If I still had all my banners from the LP/Piano days it would be a monster sig.

I really don't remember.

So for our friends' cookout we tried to do this watermelon grill thing that we saw in a Tasty video:





Turned out alright, but it was messy and frustrating and we couldn't really get it to stand on the legs. But it was fun. I'm proud of the rainbow skewers at least.
