People can still be sketchy. And just because there are no typical mafia/baddies doesn't mean anything IMO. There's still very dangerous and deadly roles out there that can be treated as baddies.

I think INH's meaning is that it was made clear this game would be different and perhaps more challenging than normal from the start, and signing up for a game then immediately dropping doesn't make sense.

Matt confirmed that I never contacted him, and it was you that said you and I were partners. Either way someone is lying about stuff I said and as I mentioned, I dislike being dragged into stuff and having my word brought into question.

Seems like an awful long time to let that confusion fester instead of clearing that up.

I am so terribly all turned around and confused by all this.

The poll closes soon and I will be off playing a game so I voted AP now while I had the chance. I think this web that's been spun around me can be cleared up if AP goes to court.

I am starting to think Matt did orchestrate the chaos here, especially since he deliberately lied to A.P which started all this.

And to respond to some things: I want as much as possible not to out my partner or myself in the thread as I'm a generally loyal chap and I wouldn't do anything that'd hurt people who are loyal to me, so there's that. Unfortunately Matt is less loyal and more selfish, and he decided it would be a good idea to cause all this in the first place.

People who I've spoken to privately know what I've said and I can guarantee 100% of it is true. I am virtually alone and have no reason to lie. All I can do at this point is help those who are willing to help me. Which thanks to this fiasco seems to be a very short list.

Hey dude, I've thought on this, and you're right. I apologize for lying to you in the PM. It wasn't right, and though my strategy didn't work out as I thought it would (I don't have any reason to believe AP has a NK), I also apologize for the whole mess I made of the thread today.

Hopefully we're cool, and we can focus on getting players with NK now.

Would you like to know why a magician never does the same trick twice? It's because the first time, the audience is waiting for the magic, but the second time, the audience has already seen the magic, and is watching for the trick.

I think that sums Matt up well. The first time, he lied to A.P by telling him that I had said AP and I were partners. It worked alright and he even got praise from the host for doing it. And now he can't help himself and is spreading more lies to try and sow more confusion, I think.
