Anyway, although I may not be super familiar with Doctor Who I do know that I like David Tennant so that is who I am voting for.

Maybe this poll will decide what season our story is based on or what season we begin with at least?

Well in the last game I played Mongoose used some of these kinds of polls to drive the story so I figured maybe that was what they were doing here. I think it's an interesting idea.

Haha I don't know much about Doctor who and I don't think you have to, to enjoy the story or succeed in the game. I'm sure they will make it user friendly for all of us even those of us who aren't avid fans.

Why do people vote for themselves? Is this some new fangled strategy with which I am not familiar?

So I'm going out so I'm going to have to put in a vote now. Its hard to follow everthing that's going on. Juliet seems to be really overly defensive Ill go with her for now and maybe check back in later and see what's up.

I'm not an avid Dr. Who fan but Azure sounds nice. I know Azure is a nice blue color and looks really pretty so I'm going to go with that.

Well my thoughts on me are that I'm good and lynching me isn't going to help anyone, but the baddies. I don't say much no but what about all the people that didn't even bother to vote? I always thought that was a worse offense than not being sure who to vote for, but still voting because it's part of the game. I'd rather participate in what's required of me than say or do nothing at all even if I'm not a hundred percent sure. Or at least that's how I thought the game was played. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay, fair, but you have no other thoughts right now at all? Suspicions, thoughts, anything? Rather than just deflecting onto people who didn't vote?

What do you think of my thoughts on Made? You somewhat addressed it earlier, but it was rather vague and wishy washy-- which is exactly how I'd describe your entire gameplay so far.
I'm confused; I outlined my reasons for suspecting Rox in my post in the part labeled "Rox"; what don't you quite understand about it? Your thoughts are appreciated nonetheless.

I do think Made has acted suspiciously, but I don't feel confident enough about him at the moment to place a vote on him. I just see a Made that's acting more careful than Mades I have previously seen, but I'm not sure whether that's because he's bad or because he's trying to NOT be the center of attention the entire game (ironically). I did think his comments on juliets were weird (as I stated earlier), and his behavior has been "odd" overall, but I'm not sure it makes him bad.

BUT that said, I revisited your Made post, and I do think your point about him asking for clarification on the wrong item is a bit strange. Is your strongest point about him that he's insincerely mudslinging then? If so, that's actually sort of compelling.

Honestly, I'd need to re-read him to clarify my thoughts on him, I think. I need to re-read a few other players as well. Don't have time right now, but maybe I'll do that later tonight.

So in response to people wanting me to report my suspicions. It is difficult to read through the millions of posts but from what I'm seeing so far, I'm not sure about Made. His play style seems to be a little different this time than last time when he was a civ. He was a bit more aggressive about catching the baddies. Perhaps he doesn't want the baddies caught this time.

I agree that it does seem a little contrived. Potentially trying to avoid anyone thinking they're working together at all? Epi can be very devious as I quickly found out in my first game haha so I'm always a little wary of him.

And others, including the hosts of this game, also have brought up the fact that there were a lot of people who have been missing votes. A missed vote could be merely life getting in the way or a mistake or it also could be a way to avoid any suspicion from having to choose someone to vote for and choosing incorrectly.

Well I've already expressed how I feel. I find made and epi suspicious so far this game.

Thank you Gotrees for the explanation otherwise I'd have no idea what any of these places are. Went with Karn based on those explanations. At the very least it sounds better than the other options. Who wants gross farting aliens blech.

Well it looks like there are a couple of roles that can survive attempts on their lives including the indy role. I guess we will have to keep an eye on the two that survived.

As far as suspicions go I will have to go through posts and see what I'm thinking before I officially vote and post on it. We definitely want to catch a baddie this time I'd rather not find out what those other consequences are if we don't

I voted Epi initially but I then changed it back to Made because I believed Made was more suspicious. Epi kinda always has his same devious play style, but Made has been playing differently this game. Or at least that's how it seemed to me. After putting some thought into it I ended up choosing to stick with my first guess which was Made rather than Epi. I apologize if I didn't clearly state I am voting Made. As everyone always gets annoyed with me saying, I am new ish to the game so if I mess something up just let me know and I will try not to mess up again. Might be voting Made again this poll we shall see how things go.

Right now my current suspects are Made Enrique and MP. Made I've explained and others have noticed as well that his play style is different this time from when he was a civ. Enrique seems defensive of made perhaps there's a reason behind that perhaps not and I'm just not sure how to feel about MP yet.

Voting made for now so I don't forget but I'll see if anything changes tomorrow.

Ah welcome back Epi! I'm sure you'll be just as devious this time as any. And I will keep my eye on you we now have no way of knowing if you came back good or bad. I could not stay up late enough to pay attention to what was happening last night. Guess I missed out on a lot sheesh! We still didn't catch a baddie. I participate when I can I'm just not around that often and when not much is going on I don't say much. This particular poll doesn't take much discussion. It's all the same thing. Made and enrique are still my suspects and I'm still not sure what to think of MP and his super long posts suspecting a bunch of different people. Not sure what went down with the Snow Dog thing. I didn't see anything suspicious there and was unsure as to why people really wanted to vote for them in the first place. I hadn't seen a lot of posts prior to that regarding them so I thought it was weird that all of the sudden a bunch of people moved to lynch a civvie. Also, wary of Epi coming back not sure what to think of that yet.

Dom, I also have been suspecting Made but at the same time it seems like Made and Enrique are potentially attempting to protect each other through their posts but I'm not sure. And Enrique surviving that NK is kind of suspicious as well, so I'm not sure which one I will vote this lynch.

Welp Ive been reading posts and I am continuing to go with Enrique whom I have suspected for a bit now.

Its a tough call btwn made and enrique. Theyve both survived nks under mysterious circumstances and Im thinking they might be connected. My vote is currently going to Enrique because I feel that voting him or made will finally find us a baddie. Looks like we are close to a tie so it may not matter which I choose anyway. Also sorry the typing is so atrocious. Im on my tablet.

Names started flying all around. The Doctor sat off to the side watching. Trying to calculate what each person's motives were.
There was a LOT of arguing all day long. Lots of potential candidates for the sacrifice but no clear winner for much of the time. Finally a majority of the crowd decided that Made was the sacrafice theislandImeanplanet demanded. They tied his hands behind his back and lead him out to the middle of the courtyard. They placed his head down on the chopping block. They called for the executioner.

Just as the executioner was stepping up onto the platform, several people changed their minds and decided that Snow Dog was the true baddest of the bad. They ran up, pushed Made out of the way, shoved Snowy down and yelled "DO IT!! DO IT NOW AND QUICKLY!!!! BEFORE ANYONE CHANGES THEIR MINDS AGAIN!!!!!!!

They got as far as "AG" when the blade sliced through Snowy's head lobbing it right off.

The Doctor walked up to the body and looked at it sadly. He leaned over, pulled another note out of Snowy's pocket. He began to read aloud.

Doctor,

Your team has been doing an amazing job at dying in your name. I told you that trying to chase me would cause nothing but pain and heartache but you refuse to listen. Who pays the price of your stubbornness? Your friends. Your companions. The people you claim to love. You could end this all now by giving up. But you won't. You never will. You're too vain for that. You think you're the cleverest person in the universe. But you are not. I am. Keep running Doctor, but you will never find me.

He looked out at the crowd and then back to the HIgh Priestess. She frowned sadly and addressed the crowd.

"You chose to kill Snow Dog. Because of your actions, every civ will start Day 4 with a +1 vote. You really need to start choosing more carefully." She walked back into the Temple.

The crowd stared in disbelief as they saw the obvious in front of their eyes much too late:

Snow Dog has been lynched. He was Mickey Smith. You have 23ish hours to vote in the poll and do anything else you need to do.

The night poll will have a later than 8:30 pm EST cut off time because I took some time to tweek a few things with the post but I want to keep the posts/polls ending as close to that 8:30 mark as possible so we're going for an end of night at that time tomorrow regardless of what the poll says. K?

Witches have always intrigued me and they sound interesting so I'm going with that planet. Also, Made's post doesn't make me feel any better about him. Pretty much everyone agrees that he is bad and now that he has survived a lynch we have all the more reason to suspect that. I'm still wary of Enrique. Made has been defending him as I have mentioned before, so if we assume Made is bad then we can also assume he wouldn't care about defending anyone unless they were on his team. Just my thoughts for now on last nights crazy lynch.

haha. I'm seeing people suspecting Made of being the main Dalek guy and after reading his role I guess that certainly is possible. I don't recall him denying he's bad just doing a lot of defending of Enrique. We'll see how the night plays out. And with regard to what MP just said... Idk Made could be trying to convince you that he is that role. If he was bad then he also would have known why he survived he just won't be admitting that anytime soon.

RIP Zeek! You seemed like a cool dude. Hoping you will play another game. And I was pretty sure Made was bad this game so I'm not too surprised that he was killed off. Assuming he was a baddie then at least we got one so far for sure. I'm still thinking Enrique is bad. I don't think MP is bad just really stressing out about things and letting it affect his game, which I know I have done before.

Thanks again Gotrees for the info. Now that I know something about these planets I see that Vulcan was a poor choice. Too bad spock doesn't live there sighhhhhh. I don't think we would want to go there. I will go with the first one. Sounds safe enough.

Of course I guess then they would be able to make a case against someone but how does anyone else benefit? When I looked they don't have btsc with anyone and admitting they know something would be admitting their role. Or am I wrong? Does their knowledge get shared with the group as a whole like in a post? or is it only shared with that one person?

sabie you are correct that only one character, the LD, checks the statement and gets back the result - either true or false. So as the LD you have to be really careful what statement you check. They cannot share this info with anyone, not even to say "I know DH is a baddie but I can't tell you how I know" because that's info-dumping. They are expected to make a case in the thread against that person using thread evidence. Or they can support someone else in the thread who has made a case against the person. There may be other things they can do but I'm not able to come up with anything right now. The most important thing is they can't info-dump.

Now the role checkers are different. They are on the baddie teams and check someone's role. They are allowed to tell the other baddies on their team whether the person was bad (from the other team or maybe a SK) or civ, or indy.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. That makes more sense now. So the benefit in checking people's statements does not directly help the group, it just helps that person to know they are making a case against the right person.

Hey guys still not feeling all that well. Anyway I'm gonna have to go through and read things. My current suspicion has been rox because she was so adament abiut the lie detector thing but wasn't making statements herself. Ill have to actually look backfor sure to make my decision though. Just want to have a vote in for now.

I read enough to know you were talking about the lie detector stuff that was a couple days ago. I just meant so far that was the thing I read that I found to be suspicious. Ill read through again and see if anything else catches my eye.

Yay for getting a bad indy player! I'm not familiar with Dr. Who really so I chose non doctor who theme. I guess I've missed out on a lot of good themes already.

So from the story it sounds like Chris survived 2 nks? That seems weird. Voting him for now. I'll have to check back in later. Off to work.

Yay! We got all the Daleks! I was wary of Roxy for awhile there. I am voting salad because I'm trying to eat healthier and I'm craving a delicious salad right now. Still unsure about Chris and how he survived those two attempts on his life. I guess we shall see how things go.

I see that some people are suspecting me. I apologize for not posting as much as others. Full time job and all that jazz. My reasoning for suspecting Roxy had been because she was so adamant about the lie detector and it seemed weird to me as if she had been trying to deflect any suspicions off of her. My suspicion of Chris came from him surviving 2 NK's in one night. I don't know how that happens exactly.

Because I suspected Roxy? Others suspected Roxy as well and she did end up being bad so why does it matter if I did suspect her? And why put so much stock in a baddie's suspicions? Part of their goal is to take out civvies so isn't it be just as likely that she was trying to make a bogus case against me to protect herself? Sigh this isn't the first time that's happened to me.

I have been defending myself yes but I don't recall defending Epi ever. I just found Roxy's posts to be suspicious, repetitive, and annoying regarding the lie detector. Never said I didn't suspect Epi. He's super hard to read in general so I don't even know what to think of him this game. He very well could be bad, but I don't know for sure. I don't know how much stock to put into anything a known baddie said. I feel like at the end when everyone was suspecting her she would have went after anyone to deflect attention off of her. I don't know what I did to make everyone so wary of me. I don't post much and I've suspected people that ended up being bad. My suspicion of Made came from playing with him in a previous game. His play style was completely different and him and enri seemed to be trying to protect each other. I know the master has a power that can deflect kill attempts so that's why I voted Chris last time.

There's no uncanny ability here. I told you I had legit reasoning for suspecting Made and Enri and so did a lot of other people. Made was my partner in the FELT mafia and I know what his playing style was. This game was very different. Therefore I guessed he was bad. Enri and made were defensive of each other. Just because I'm not as intelligent and eloquent with my posts and suspicions does not mean that I'm bad. Just because I have a life outside of mafia and don't get to post often also does not make me bad. Just because I didn't like Roxy doesn't mean I'm bad. I found her posts to be obnoxious and a little overly defensive. I don't know why you're trying so hard to lead a lynch against me.

I'm voting chris he's fighting way too hard against me and I haven't done anything crazy suspicious

I was a role checker but as you can see I picked good people to role check on my own. Not just random role checking. Oh well. It was a good game and everyone put forth a valiant effort!!
