Trying to find our teammates will hurt the baddies more, because it will tell some Civvies who other Civvies are, and they can defend each other.
If I am understanding this correctly though, it won't tell civvies who other civvies are, because they won't be civvies anymore though, yes?

Re: Monopoly Mafia [Day 2]

I think it's a very good point LoRab, and I agree with you. In another game (which I can't get into detail about since it is still going on), Elo's play style was described as that she typical "goes with the flow" on votes. So it is interesting that she chose not to do so in this game when we were lynching a baddie, and was the only vote on someone. Now I am unsure if that would be wise for her to do if her teammate was getting lynched, but it does seem weird to me since it is different then what was described as typical Elo to me.

That way, madness lies. We have to be able to disagree with each other, or else mafia has no point. Lighten up.
That's not generally how Lorab works. I'm not sure what happened there, but not sure I want to or to get involved :)

Also TH isn't generally one to call people stupid either. he likes games to be light and fun, and I don't see him taking it to a name calling level like that. Would have thought BR would have known him better then that.

I agree with the need to lighten up. This game is getting kind of tense already.

I don't see LC's baddie game at this point. Not saying I am the best at reading him, but I am just not seeing it.

I agree about Elo, juliets. I just don't see why she wouldn't vote Made, and how she is playing seems unlike what she herself has described to be a civvie her.
I found it interesting she said she doesn't have or want btsc. I had thought for a minute she might have gained it with Epig (why wouldn't they check each other first) so was giving her the benefit of doubt based on that, but if she doesn't have btsc still :/
He could still be just defending her based off knowing her well.

first of all, I didn't say I didn't want BTSC, I said I didn't want BTSC with BADDIES. And funny you mention Epi b/c that is the person I searched for first :D (sorry if I am not allowed to mention that.
I mentioned Epi because I assumed one of you checked the other and gained BTSC (based off how he seemed to be defending you). Like I had said "why wouldn't you?". I assumed most spouses would check one another  Minus maybe the one who seems to be clearly against the civvie checking :p Now that I know you checked him, and still don't have BTSC it means he is defending you off of knowing you, which is nice to know but not infallible. You have said yourself you generally go with the flow in lynches. So you not voting made and trying to get juliets lynched is very sketchy to me. Juliets and BR have known each other for a while. I didn't read anything weird in their interaction.

And I do not think this is a baddie Lorab. I've played with her a bunch. I've hosted with her. I don't see a baddie her getting upset like this tbh.

Not working off much here, but don't want to miss a second vote. So I'm voting Elo now. Sorry guys for not being around much. Hopefully will have more time to commit to this in the next few days but wouldn't count on it. :sigh:

Splints, can you tell me how you feel about keys at the moment, and vice versa?

What do players think of juliets?

I'm keeping my vote where it is.
I think keys is likely a civvie. His unified civvie theory and his comment about FZ make me believe so. I really cannot see any benefit for him to bring up such a plan if he was a baddie. He always posts very carefully, and almost over thinks his posts. I read that comment as sarcastic and one I think he would not likely make if he were bad.

I am also feeling alright about juliets so far this game. I feel like her name was thrown around in the beginning by players who don't understand how she plays, and I haven't seen anything indicative of a baddie juliets. She is a tricky one, but her responses have read genuine and helpful to me.

I'm not understanding the case on LC. Boogs pushing it seems incredibly sketchy. His motivation and suspicion seems unclear. I haven't had much time to read your posts about it tbh. I've had little time outside of work though, and what I had was focused on the Zelda game. Since I am no longer in that hopefully I can get my head fully into this one and look at that some.

I am actually not sure how I feel about you yet. I don't have any reason to trust or not trust you. But if I understand the suspicion correctly, I don't think defending/agreeing with LC makes you bad either since we don't even know what he is yet. I'm not sure that btsc pairs would be so obvious with their connection tbh.

I'm also thinking that those supporting it could have shady motives. I mean, they're actively pushing a plan that specifically advocates going after prize winners and Civvies who have found BTSC partners over looking for baddies.
I don't think they are ALL shady.
Boogs stuck out the most to me. I've skimmed MP's and they have seemed pretty rational. He does seem to be suspecting those who disagree, which is kind of funny given that I thought I had seen the main accusation about juliets seems to be unwillingness to see all sides of the situation. I don't think this makes him bad. I think this just makes him really confident in his accusations. I'm not sure I agree with his sentiments, but I can appreciate where he is coming from at least.
keys, I have already said, I think is a civvie. You can't really be surprised by him LC. He clearly was against the finding of civvie teammates from the start. Getting rid of someone who he knows has found btsc makes perfect sense to me.

I don't agree with you. If we find the mafia before everyone finds their btsc partners, people won't turn into indy LMS groups. It's a MAJOR IF people even find their groups. Searching for btsc is hard, and a lot of the time people never find who they are looking for. Taking out the mafia is priority to me. Also, maybe you guys should start bidding a little more responsibly if you are so worried about going bankrupt. :p

You say a monopoly this early is as dangerous as a mafia. It is unlikely there are monopolies this early. Possible. But unlikely. It is 100 % certain there are mafia.

I'm keeping you from discussing? wow lol. Because you know I have a little voodoo doll controlling you and all in my left hand. You can do whatever the hell you want. I am bringing some real discussion on lynching rather than just everyone showing up to vote for the top voter because they are lazy like FZ yesterday. There have been plenty of other name mentioned to lynch Splints besides me suggesting LC. Don't get it twisted, sister.
This is an incredible overreaction.

Do you not think most of the discussion has centered around LC? llama being connected to LC? Who suspects LC and doesn't? Because, I do. I didn't say that has been ALL of the discussion, but a vast majority of the players are falling through the cracks.

Do you honestly not see why baddies would want to keep the conversation centered around a few individuals? With your little voodoo doll comment you are acting like this notion isn't something that comes up regularly in games.

Did I just show up to vote FZ? Here's a suggestion. Why don't we look at those players who did just show up to vote FZ and cared more about the money then lynching baddies, instead of this crusade you have started against players who bought something.

I was trying to entertain the fact that this might be a civvie you, but this defensiveness really isn't doing you any favors.

Yes, but given how this game encourages bandwagonry, I doubt that people would be likely to do that.
It's just he seemed pretty resigned here when he voted half an hour after SD did that he was going to be lynched:
birdwithteeth11 wrote:So I'm gone for 24 hours, Epig throws a case together on me, and now it looks like I'm about to be lynched?

I would defend myself, but I don't have the time right now. I'm way behind on something for work with training, and I need to spend most of tonight working on it. Unfortunately, all I can do is vote LC and hope I somehow survive (which doesn't look good for me at this point). I do find it funny that a lot of you think I've been participating quite a bit. I chalk this game up there with most of the ones where I'm barely participating due to lack of time to get involved.

But oh well. I guess it is what it is. All I have time for it to ask for one more day, and to give me a chance to answer for my actions once I have the time to do so.
It just seemed like there was a lot of time and a bunch of votes still out there. So its not impossible that his teammate and him decided around that time he was going to be lynched.

Like I said, I don't have a problem with looking at those votes. I know mine was legit, so it is possible one of the others was not. When I get home I will do the same and see if anything stands out to me. :)

I was supportive of Boogs suspicion before, but I laid off him some because I do feel bad for him getting lynched a lot for saying some weird things. But I think Epig brings up good points to link him to bwt. I'm curious to how he responds to these.

what - I'm just trying to catsup as fast as I can - and this vote ends sat?? fuck's sake. :( I'll keep doing my best to keep reading
Not sure why you had to shut her down :(
I see that I was misunderstood. The word "points" in my post was meant to convey the concept of awarding points for an achievement. "You win! Point to you!"

I did not mean "indicating with the index finger in an accusatory manner."

I apologize for the miscommunication.
lol I read it like you intended, so I was confused by Bea's reaction. Glad that is all cleared up.

I thought hedgeowl surviving was weird, but was waiting to see what her response was first. I think her and Boogs are both good lynch candidates for today.

If hedgeowl is a railroad, then it makes it all the more interesting that thellama tried to draw attention to me and TH for late votes, but left off hedgeowl. :ponder:

Re: Monopoly Mafia [Day 4]

I'm actually around all day today!
I agree with all of this. It seems like she would be trying to defend herself a little harder if she was a civvie, but almost like she knows there isn't really a way she can do so, so has just given up. So I will vote her now as well.
