Re: Video Game Discussion

I thought Minerva's Den was better than Bioshock Infinite. Minerva's Den was deeply depressing.

Minerva's Den was a rare instance of the twist actually surprising me.

What do you think of them so far?
I'll let you know once I finish the first two games and then start 3. ;)

One of my favorite series. Unfortunately Rome II was one of the greatest video game disappointments of my life.

You are playing Falll Out 1 & 2?
I am in the middle of the very first game.

When I can, I like to play through a series from the beginning.

I worked through a lot of Morrowind on X-Box but never finished it. Ghostgate.

I am in the middle of Oblivion on PC right now. I am Grand Champion of the arena. :noble: Finally getting on with the main question, haha. I'll buy Skyrim once I finish it all. I love taking my time with Bethesda games and just soaking it all in.

Aren't you supposed to be beating a different game this summer? :ponder:
There have been suitcases and shit in front of my TV stand for two weeks. Mother-in-law plus 5 kids (foster and otherwise) here. I came close to losing my shit.

I have played no games.

I take care of that problem by not playing any of the games in those series.

I'm 31-years-old, married with three children, I work a full time job, I'm involved in multiple recording projects, I write novels, I do all the cooking, and I host a lot of Mafia here.

Gaming takes a very miniscule chunk of my time, so I have to be selective in what titles I play. ;)

The Christmas before last, we bought Simon Sonic Colors. I didn't know much about it, but it looked cool (Is it just me, or do the backs of video game cases do a poor job describing what you actually do in games these days?). Knowing Simon liked Sonic the Hedgehog, I went ahead and bought it.

May I tell you that Sonic Colors is one of the coolest games for the Wii? It's visually stunning, incredibly fast, and it has one of the best soundtracks I've heard in recent games. While I have not played all Sonic titles, I have played many of them over the years. This one is my favorite.

Re: Video Game Discussion

I know Mechwarriors 5 is due to come out next month. Yes, I am excited. Yes, I'm even more excited that it's a single player game.

However, I am still sad that my Mechwarriors 4 games don't work on Windows 10 and even now won't play on my old Windows 7 PC (it used to work fine years ago, but now it won't start at all).

I declare I am going to buy a damn cheap PC with Windows XP on it and scratch my Mechwarriors 4 Mercenaries itch. Screw the kids' Christmas. :srsnod:

If you have it installed on your Win10 machine you should just be able to Compatibility Mode it:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/hel ... compatible
It isn't that simple. There's an entire thread (still current) devoted to this task:
