Some time between the seventh and the eigth time I was asked to provide a gun to the head of someone during the first game I played here.

I already explained it to zebra.

Zebra saw me vote. Zebra commented on it, but nobody else did. Zebra brought it up again, and now it is suddenly a topic of conversation.

Placing a vote so early in the day phase should be a topic of conversation. It's the most exciting thing to happen so far. Why did nobody else consider it so until zebra had to bring it up again?

Re: STAR WARS Mafia [Day 1]

Here is where zebra brought it up the first time, directly after I placed my vote.

Here is where zebra brought it back up for discussion, about 12 hours or so later.

Golden and MP chimed in immediately with regards to my vote in response to zebra's comment. MacDougall did too, but he was the victim, and this wasn't his first mention either.

Golden - Well Golden had one post in between when the vote happened and when zebra recently brought it up. Also his response read sincere to me.

MP - On the other hand, MP had 7 posts after it happened and before zebra brought it up. Not only that, but this was MP's response. He didn't comment on it before (not until zebra brought it up saying she was bothered by it). MP agreed he was also bothered by it, though admitted to not knowing how to handle it. But he also awkwardly used the word "also" twice at the very beginning of this post. It looks like sentence restructuring, meaning MP was trying to pick his words.

Jana? You mean Jabba? This comes off as a bit disingenuous for a Day 0 vote. Mainly gut, but I don't like how assured you seem that visiting Jabba will benefit the civs rather than Jabba himself. Other players at least considered the possibility that it might be a bad thing, even if they weighed the options likely to be in town's favor.
Bass_the_Clever wrote:You guys are posting so much lol. I'm reading now but am tried so I might take a nap before I post.

MP is really good at being bad but I don't think he is bad this game only because I don't think he would walk away from his computer when he is being talked about if he was bad.
That's it? Assuming you read everything, this isn't much to offer, and DAMN it comes off as hella fake. You have a neutral read on MM that doubles as an excuse for yourself for that read to not be swayed in either direction for some time (hmm...) and your civ read on MP is based on a reason that could easily be a byproduct of WIFOM, especially for a player with enough experience (not to mention hosting) as MP. And you know this! I believe your reasoning is an act. This is why it's important to take a close look at the lower posters; their scummy behavior goes by unnoticed much easier than the baddies who post often. Before going through his ISO, if you had asked me what my GTH of Bass was I would probably have said town, but at the moment he is my strongest read yet of the dark side:

SCUM
Some meta on Bass, when he calls me bad on Day 1, he's always been civ.

The one time he waffled on me on Day 1, he was mafia.

Re: STAR WARS Mafia [Night 1]

Here are my top suspects going into Day 2 (in no particular order) and why:

1) MovingPictures07 - As I stated before, I don't like his comment about the timing of my Day 1 vote.

2) Bass_the_Clever - He said it takes him a while to get a grip on my alignment. That doesn't line up at all with our previous games' interactions.

3) MacDougall - This one isn't strong, but he was pretty carefree before I voted for him on Day 1, and got serious after I voted for him.

4) Nanana_Banana - He's done nothing but visit Tattooine.

5) Roxy - I agree with zebra about Roxy's vote (but not about Dom's). She offered a little disclaimer that Matt looked mildly suspicious for his Day 0 vote, and no such additionaly comments about any other player she talked about, yet coincidentally random'd on him Day 1.

6) a2thezebra - she is trying too hard and posting too much and is bad.

That makes the third vote for Matt F that I am uncomfortable with. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm officially not voting for him. Most of the wagon is just too easy.
This is absurd. You had been posting consistently about Matt F. You made some really great points. Yet when others vote there you get "uncomfortable" with your own suspicion? Why when it was so consistent and on point? Instead you vote Bass who you, yourself said you wanted to wait for another response from him. Your meaningless vote after the whole day of iso's and suspicions felt like a big cop out.
Then after Matt's reveal you come out with tons of excuses and guns blazing against Golden bc he did not push Bass more - huh? Why does what Golden does or votes make so much of a difference with how you vote? Why is it Golden's fault Bass did not get lynched?
To be fair, you didn't vote Matt for the really great points that zebra provided, you random'd.
sig wrote:Okay looking at Brian's post out of these seven almost all are null. I'm thinking Golden isn't mafia, but besides that nothing from this list. I think we do have at least one or two mafia member here and I do agree with Dragon these players have had little activity, but this also seems like Dragon is trying to get us to focus on those who haven't posted at all, and this is a good way to lynch civs who are easy lynches and won't attract attention to those who pushed for there lynch if they flip civ.
Don't forget that there are two mafia though. Each mafia team will be hunting the other, not necessarily trying to pin easy lynches on civs. Well, I guess they still could, since they want civvies dead too. :goofp:

But they will appear a little more sincere then in a game with only one mafia team.

But he also awkwardly used the word "also" twice at the very beginning of this post. It looks like sentence restructuring, meaning MP was trying to pick his words.
Metalmarsh89, you're missing something important here that negates your analysis about my response to your vote. The reason I hadn't pushed you on your vote was because between the time of your vote and this post about an hour later, I had not posted.

Why is that latter post important? Because you said you made your vote for observance. I thus did not feel it necessary to press you on it at that time. But when zebra kept going on about your vote, I wanted to make it clear that I was also bothered by your quick vote.

As to my "also" wording, I made that post in a rush, and if anything that blunder should indicate I gave too little thought to my post wording, rather than the alternative.

If you still have concerns, let me know.
Seems I missed it.

My point still stands; if you saw the second post that you linked from me an hour after my vote, why did you come into the thread later and say you didn't like my vote?

As for the "also" thing, fair enough. It could go either way.

Linki: wtf

Cool beans.
Agreed, but what's up with this Matt F stuff? :ponder:
Whatever it was it was damn creepy.

My guess is it has something to do with the Imperial secret roles? IIRC Palpatine tempts Anakin with the ability to "cheat death" through the Dark Side of the Force, which fits right into Vader and Sidious' secret roles. Then there's the issue that they failed to kill tonight, maybe meaning they could only use one power or the other?

Speculation: The Empire can recruit deadies into their BTSC for... some purpose, but that would explain the "And you're going to help me!" in the post.
What do we all think of this?
The rules say that team PMs are not permitted. I would imagine that the Stormtrooper would perform the kills for the Empire since he is vanilla otherwise, and forget to send his PM in.

Hosts: do failed (or blocked or whatever) nightkills show up in the night post?

Re: STAR WARS Mafia [Day 2]

Also, considering the planet might blow up today, I'm surprised players are waiting so long to place their votes. Day ends in about 2 hours.

Bass_the_Clever wrote:Zebra I feel like you having scum reads on all the low posters is odd. There is so much stuff with people who post a lot and you don't get any kind of scum read from any of them?
This could be a scum tactic to look like he or she is trying to catch scum when really all he or she is doing is throwing shit at low posters who probably aren't around and won't say anything. While she stays in good graces of the high posters.
This looks like the post Bass is talking about wert zebra.

so...what?
Dude she/he was going after low posters at first it wasn't till after I said something about it that he/she switched it up a little. She even seemed upset that golden didn't vote for me last Lynch when we got the sk. If I was mafia I would be upset if the sk got lynches day one it means more work for the mafia.
Here was her Day 1 rainbow list.
Spoiler: show

Wow, what a hideous fucking rainbow. It's just inconsistent shades of red and green. Definitely time for bed.
I think you are incorrect in your assertion of zebra. Matt and Enrique were both relatively high postsers, yet they both ended up at the bottom of her rainbow list.

She also has Canucklehead and Savage up near the top of her rainbow list, despite being at the bottom of the posting spectrum.
