Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 0]

The game hasn't even started and I can't even begin to consume the 5 pages that were made just today. Like damn.

It's like if I even tried to start poking at someone, it'd be lost in the sea of arguments and finger pointing.

I mean that and the 4 quotes deep quote boxes (which are giant on my phone mind you)

Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 0]

@MovingPictures07 It doesn't help that with so much back and forth between posters. It shifts focus to them and with such quantities mostly people do not want to read giant walls and will rather cling to bits and just vote with the crowd or whoever sounded "kinda bad"

Okay so basically this is all i can gather from spending 30 minutes reading form page 2 to page 8:

Enrique vs. golden

Zebra vs Matt

Zebra vs. MovingPictures07

some misc. people conjecturing here and there

*GIANT QUOTE WALLS*

basically another way of me saying this is. Rather than going on a long winded rampage against someone, over what? a small comment? Like it seems most of the debates have started over just the silly picking of the first location. like yes, it's probably important. but like are we really getting anywhere with going back and forth on "how many times you said the word Frozen Yogurt in that paragraph" (this is sarcasm. terrible sarcasm)

but i digress. What i would like to see is a straight and simple reason that people are suspicious of someone. As my teacher once said "I didnt ask you to explain, i asked you do it."

Rant over-ish. You honestly cannot form your own opinion over the people who have the giant post counts so far in the thread since you basically have to side with one or the other. And everyone else (like me) who hasnt really done much or are being too intimidated to post, has to be counted as null, and scratched off the list to vote for. In reality this is a Mafia dream. ESPECIALLY IF IT'S ALL TOWN ARGUING. Like sit back, let them blow up for a couple days. once it dies down, start building on their mistakes.

PRE-POST EDIT: also within the time it took me to type this, there are at least 10 new posts :noble:

This one. Why are you against it and what was the issue with whomever, that you do not agree.

More so i want to know why it got so drawn out.

The matt thing was short, at least to my understanding. you each kept "twisting [your] words around"

and the thing with MP, well it looks more like a misunderstanding that should just be dropped for now. or alternatively to be picked back up later

No? I'm just saying, with all the talk of low poster lynching, that we need to keep in mind that purposefully sitting back is an actual strategy.

Likewise, minimal discussion and say having complete engagement of say, a couple members of Mafia, helps distance themselves from teammates so that they can remain under the radar.

So when DH says that no one looks increasingly suspicious, and that they don't have the calls to participate, that I agree. And we should look out for that.

I'm bad at words, so hopefully that didn't sound repetitive.

POINT BEING: I agree with the statement

No but what he said in the post before it about "why do people think it's a contradiction to lunch a no poster?" Through my personal experience, if you miss upwards of 4 or so 24 hour days. Like you obviously aren't checking. I just find it highly doubtful for the player to come back and play. OR if you're busy and you know it, you at least come and say something (like bea, mp, and Matt have)

You could argue to let them be mod killed but a little birdie said earlier that epi is not one to modkill so???? I mean decide either a low post lynch or a half-prepared half in for it random lynch of someone who might liven up the tread and keep it from

As another "tid-bit/don't forget!"

As Mafia, it's easy to try and defend a new or inactive player since then you can look not towny and at the same time the person you're "defending" won't be able to wise up and ask "what's the dealio?"

Just something I remembered, tho, not to implicate Juliet, or anyone else is doing that

Re: Arkham Mafia [Night 2]

@MP I did a quick check on the votes from day 2 and if you really wanted to look at people I would say from Nero's lynch everyone between SVS and Sorsha, and from Blackrock to sprityo.

And then basically the middle three votes on Matt, which I'm too lazy to check now. I split the votes up like that since between those two player lists on Nero, is when Sabie voted.

If you wanted to test out a theory or something, like the uh, "people started bussing lunar after a clear winner was decided" then I would look more critically at the second group, that is not to say you may have one baddie in the first one, but I digress

Secondly, when you said you didn't really know why Sabie voted for Matt still so late into it. I mean I guess it was more following what they already had, and (hypothetically here) hoping for people to fall onto Matt, but I guess at that time the actual I n game talk had moved past it and it just all piled on after that.

Just assumptions and thoughts to consider here. Now I've gotta get ready for the senior panorama
