What do you mean by this?
I mean I'd like to see what suspicions SVS has that are not me.
But that post that S~V~S made that you responded to had nothing to do with you. It seems like you wanted to accuse her of narrow focus at some point today but got impatient waiting for a proper opportunity.
I don't think it needs to be directed at me for me to say things. Would it have looked better if I didn't quote her at all? It really doesn't matter.
I don't understand the context of this debate.

From where I'm standing, which is new to the thread and not back reading yet, A2 makes a good point. To a stranger to the thread, your post reads specifically antagonistic toward SVS.

Is there something about how SVS has been playing that caused you to be thus? If so, what was that? If not, would you have asked the same thing of any other player that made the statement she made?

If I could accomplish one thing, lynching the Warden would be glorious. That jerk put us through hell.

Golden should maybe quit trying to assign prisoners to specific people? Even if he's sure they are who he thinks they are. I can see where Golden might think that his naming of people should be seen as his way of saying hi, but a) some of us are pretty good mimics and b) others of us are pretty sure smart people will figure things out soon enough anyway and c) the temptation to break the rules and confirm or deny might be too great for some of the prisoners. None of the prisoners want another LC type shooting to happen. Our host is :feb: Help us help you. and finally d) since prisoners can neither confirm nor deny AND stay alive (see point c) not talking about prisoner identy when someone names us, leaves us in the position where others are reading us as x player whether we are or not. We can not confirm. We can not deny. And that impression could be false. That prisoner could be manipulating you. And now the thread is going to read prisoner y as player x just because it was suggested. That prisoner you name could be a different prisoner and can't tell you you are wrong. This is a very dangerous road.

Your secondary suspicion of DDL feels at the surface like it has more meat. Find it and bring it to me and I will cook it and make a fantastic dinner.

Is a frantic defense of a baddie typical baddie behavior? Is it typical of sig? This is an easy accusation to render. Is there a specific moment that pinged you strongly enough to shed the doubts associated with this kind of read (suspecting a player for defending a baddie)?
Epi's reason for being suspicious of sig is everyone's reason for being suspicious of sig. Which would be fine if it was just Epi and a few others that suspect him, however many, many suspect him. I refuse to believe that so many people suspect a player for defending a baddie and being a hypocrite. Neither of those are alignment-indicative and more people should know that than what has been seen.[/quote]

I think the end tag here should maybe be ...especially with Sig.

Or is the issue that he *hasn't* been lynched yet so this time his weirdness must make him bad?

The thing is, we've given sig ample time to form a civ likeness and he hasn't really come out of his shell, after 2 save opportunities.

I just think that Quin's reads are all wrong and he is more likely to be bad.
But I do see the premise of lynching sig in that he is more likely to give us information.

Before Golden said the tie was with gleam, I assumed, looking at the poll, that it was with Epignosis, so I started working from there. Working from the point where we know a baddie was in trouble is always easier.

So, I think there is a decent chance Epignosis is a cop.

His game, up until Fuzz started taking votes, was mainstream and fine, nothing to pinpoint in any way.

Then Fuzz made his vote, people noticed, he started taking on votes quickly.

Epignosis wrote:I just got home after picking up a drunken Eloh. First time ever that I get to return the favor. XD

Damn that was fast. Fuzz slip?

Heh, his name is Fuzz. :slick:
So Epig asks what's up? No great answers. Then he posts that he will make sure to break the tie, sounding srsbsns:

Addendum: No, seriously. Just for a second.

He then asks again for information:

Epignosis wrote:I'm behind seven pages. Catching up before the deadline isn't going to happen. Can someone give me a summary of Fuzz? What'd he do?
That was at 4:38 my time. At 4:39 my time, just one minute later, Enrique answers him:

Said he wouldn't touch ika/Silverwolf, then broke the tie against ika. Fast forward a bit and all the gleam voters immediately hop on him instead.
At 4:41, just two more minutes later, now only 3 minutes from Epig's post asking for reasons, Sloonei also provides an answer:
Spoiler: show
Sloonei wrote:
Epignosis wrote:I'm behind seven pages. Catching up before the deadline isn't going to happen. Can someone give me a summary of Fuzz? What'd he do?
In general, he's been providing some pretty scant analysis of things in the thread, enough content to avoid being a lurker, but not so much that he's really needed to commit to anything.
Plus in the last hour or so he's cast a fairly shady vote against ika just because not too long after implying he wouldn't be doing such a thing. None of his responses since this wagon started up have been all that inspiring either.
Now follow me even more closely, we're going into SECONDS now.

4:41 again, still 3 minutes after asking about Fuzz, he actually says nothing about Fuzz or the responses to his question, which have just occurred, but votes... a2thzebra?
Spoiler: show
Epignosis wrote:
a2thezebra wrote:If there's anyone like me that isn't feeling good about either an ika or a Fuzz lynch, please switch your vote to Epi.
a2thezebra

There. You finally got a reaction. :meany:
Here's the seconds... Sloonei's post answering Epig's question was at 4:41:02. Epig's vote post for a2thezebra was at 4:41:13, eleven seconds apart. The point? No one types a post in 11 seconds. Especially not a post where a word is underlined, which requires a bit more typing, or clicking of buttons. Sloonei's post had to show up in linkitis before Epig got his post sent. The point is that Epig absolutely HAD to have seen Sloonei's post explaining the votes on Fuzz, and in all likelihood saw Enrique's as well, but ignored them completely and dodged the fucking very tie he said he would break, with no explanation.

Incidentally, he posted again at 4:44. Basically, all evidence points to Epig getting the information he wanted to break the tie he said he would break, but then he... didn't, and tossed his vote away. Sorry, but Epignosis doesn't do that. Also, if he says he will break a tie, and asks for info, and he's civ, he won't then fabricate a nothing vote at the last second and not even comment on the thing he got people to tell him about

Epig's bad. you're welcome.
I for one, look forward to hearing what Blondy has to say about this one.

If pardoned, I promise to keep analyzing this game in depth. It's difficult to cover so much ground in one day, so I will double my efforts to root out the evil forces of the police. After all, who better to help root out evil than a reformed evil genius? I also plan to keep "trolling" Scotty and tell Golden to zip it, for whatever that's worth.

If you should choose to send me back to prison, know this: I can't blame you. I had a busy day and couldn't contribute as much as others. If you want my honest opinion, I would recommend either 509378 or 920077. They were a little more important than I was in getting us to this point. I think either one would be an "asset" to the civvie cause.

To my fellow prisoners, remember Operation IVY. Do not let it fail. Letting Operation IVY fail will make me angry. And when Dr. Evil gets angry, Mr. Bigglesworth gets upset. And when Mr. Bigglesworth gets upset, people DIE!
I agree with 813 here. 509 and 920 were pretty important to getting us here. I would add 813 to the list as well. Much like my life in prison, my brief time on the outside only allowed me to add small bits here and there. If there's ever another chance for a break, perhaps I could be a contender. As it is, I think one of the other three would get more bang for your buck so to speak.

I'm going with 813. Because I like to spread the love around. Also cuz I don't want him to shiv me if Mr. Bigglesworth gets angry.

Also, I have recently had a death in the family and the funeral and all is on Saturday. My schedule is going to be whack that day and maybe tomorrow as well. I just wanted to let you know in advance.
Add soneji to the list of suspects as well. He's been a town read of mine for a couple of days now, but seeing as Nero was arrested instead of him last night I have to reconsider (Nero was not a strong town read for anyone).

A lot of it is simple process of elimination. We know the prisoner is not a cop, and Turnip Head and I are both agreed-upon townies for Reasons, or so I am told.
For Elohcin, the strongest piece of evidence I can point to is that Epignosis seemed to setup a scenario when Elo first subbed into the game (replacing Serge) where he could very easily have framed her for a lynch, or protected her from suspicion. He ultimately protected her, and now that he has flipped as the Warden during a crucial lylo, all of his actions are understandably being scrutinized under a series of microscopes.

With chaindeath, it's more that he hasn't done anything townish. His sudden shift in opinion at the end of this last night phase was jarring as well. Plus other things. I'll have a more articulate answer to these questions later.

509 - thanks for the heads up -

of all 3 of the candidates, based on what you are saying and no going back to read, I'm most leary of an Elo lynch.

Regardless of alginment, he'd call her distracted "not reading the thread" game out. His defense of her could be seen as buddying, or as "he ows her one" as she conned him as a baddie once. What I'm getting at is he could call out her posting patterns how you describe if she was or wasn't his cop buddie and it'd have the same effect. See?

I'd honestly have to start at day 10? is it? and go back and read them together.

linki - 509 - that's not saying any of our non participants that haven't been shanked aren't flying undercover. We are shanking people who do not help us. undercover cop is either participating or we haven't gotten to him yet. :feb:
