He feels wrong. Started feeling slightly wrong. Particularly, when he started defending himself, he was overly aggressive and nitpicky. Then someone (Mac or Sloonei iirc) said they thought I came out better in our back and forth so I know it's not just me thinking Jimmy feels off, which is emboldening.
I didn't get that from his posts. Well, no more than usual.

The only thing I've noticed so far is JJJ is less aggressive than in games past. But I feel like that's because he's not wasting precious posts in just saying "NAME is scum. Lynch them."
Difference in playstyle was alluded to before roles went out. I think he's town.

I haven't gotten the most stellar vibes from LC, speedchuck, or Tony, so I might go with one of those, though the votes are already pretty spread out. Looking at the player list I get the feeling we've only been talking about a subset of players, mostly those who have had more presence in the thread, and naturally most of the higher posters look more townie... idk, day 1 always feels like this and I wish I had more confident thoughts on anyone but I really don't. Chuckles is back and I’m confused by this post above - specifically his remark about “Tone-wise he’s meta town”. I can’t tell whether he’s referring to Kyle or Quin? @Speedchuck
Kyle.

I have other posts about Quin, and my townread on Quin comes from stuff other than tone. But if you haven't gotten to that, you will.

Interesting. Why me?

I've been at a convention all weekend. There are 20 something more pages than before. I'm not catching up. I'm just going to continue to prove that Sloonei is bad and is distancing from Mac. Hazelnut is also bad.
I don't buy excuses from you. You're the guy that has put out REASONED reads and SUBSTANTIATED arguments while literally just using smilies and quotes. I got you lynched for it in Pirate Mafia or some such, and it was a sigh of relief because you were onto us and had reasons. Wilgy, to me, is not a person that needs 20 posts and a dozen essays to make a helpful point. I think you could have been something this game with just the number of posts you've had.

But all you have done is tunnel outrageously on one of the most towny people in the game. It screams "LOOK AT ME BEING OBSTINATE, STUBBORN, AND NOT GOING WITH THE FLOW" without really giving us any grounds to engage or test it.

This response of yours solidifies that . . . except for the Nutella read. Which I agree with. But that's beside the point.

Yeah that post put Mac back down from awesome to iffy.

I like his style. But his style is the only thing I like about him so far. (like == town read)

Yes.

I'm voting him because he voted for a newbie.

Why should I NOT vote for Marmot?

To expand upon that, there have been a lot of votes-for-no-stated-reason in this topic. But when I post one, I immediately get FOUR 'why?'s. I want an explanation as to why my vote is so danged baffling.
You're voting for me for... Voting for nova for the same reason?

Silly Marmot. You're not a newbie.

It was moreso for the first reason. Though I should probably think about moving my vote. Consolidation, plus I have stankyer fish to fry.

Another thing worth considering with wilgy, as I realized in that post, is that he's been scum in three games near consecutively and lost all three. That's gotta be exhausting. I'm not sure I sense the type of fatigue he exhibited in vocaroo when he neglected to post (granted, that game was a unique beast). He hasn't been tremendously active here, but he's cited a RL reason for that and made off-beat but seemingly sincere contributions when he has been here. I just don't feel like this is scum wilgy for the fourth game in a row.

She keeps saying she's waffley in other posts, but I don't see that in her reads. What I do see is a bunch of unsubstantiated reads based on 'vibes'. Even if I agree with some of her reads, I don't recall a single substantiated case from her.

And maybe this is just me being personal, but when I responded to that first post in topic, called her out on player salad, I got nothing. It feels like what we were accusing Made of on D0, but less... genuine?

Yeah...

Approach the game however you want. There are some players that don't have all that many posts. In the first page of the topic (or under the player avatars), there are links to an isolated list of just that player's posts. You could isolate a low poster and provide an opinion on just that player.

You could look and gutread people in the moment, based on the current couple of pages.

This is all D1 stuff. I imagine it'll lose some of its relevance once we have some flips.

I'm definitely not sure how I feel about this post.

Some odd mixture of TMI, guessing your motive, wondering why you thought Kyle would be better, and being annoyed that you didn't make a stronger case on Kyle if you really wanted that lynch.

I think Mac was good and Kyle is bad. Also, lack of flip sucks. There's nothing else to it.

Ultimately, why did you vote for Mac?
The only good feels I have from Mac came from his hard-nosed style. Then I was told that he was like that as both alignments, so I went back to bleh on him.

Worse than Kylemii. Kyle's tone reads as town, though I'm still not seeing the civvie spark from him that I usually do. He 'shines' more in late game anyway, so I'm willing to give him more time.

I moved my vote from Wilgy to Mac so that I could commit, make a statement. I wanted my vote on the record, to weigh in on the choice even though my vote wasn't needed. Seems like a good thing to do, make my vote worth something on the record.

The first bit reads as an apology for something that hasn't happened yet, and then he defers to Jay's argument for his vote in the poll, which just feels like a ducking of responsibility for some reason to me. Acknowledges that there is suspicion against quin but doesn't offer any thoughts of his own. I'm not sure what the purpose of that is.
At this point Dave is probably buried in the thread in his first game here. That's not an enviable position. I hope he's able to return and make a name for himself so that his two small Day 0/1 posts aren't all we have from him. This one puts him on my radar.
Are you implying that the scumteam knew what would happen? Because that's a huge can of worms to open if we want to look at the D0 votes.
And also might be considered TMI from you.

Not at all what I'm implying. I'm just refering to his "I'm new to the format and lack knowledge of Mortal Kombat" statement. It feels like he's setting himself up to not be on top of the action in this game. A scum player capitalizing on his newness.
Ah, okay. I thought you were talking about the vote for outworld as well.

Sloonei has been killed.
He had a thousand ideas
You might have heard his name
He lived alone with his vision
Not looking for fortune and fame

Never said too much to speak of
He was off on another plain
The words that he said were a mystery
Nobody's sure he was sane

He was in search of an answer
The nature of what we are
He was trying to do it a new way
He was bright as a star

But nobody understood him
His numbers are not the way
He's lost in the deepest enigma
That no one's unraveled today

And he tried
But before he could tell us he died
When he left us the people cried
Where was he going to? Oh.

He had a different idea
A glimpse of the master plan
He could see into the future
A true visionary man

But there's something he never told us
It died when he went away
If only he could have been with us
No telling what he might say

But he knew
He knew more than me or you
No one could see his view
Where was he going to?

But he knew
You could tell by the picture he drew
It was totally something new
Oh, where was he going to?

Off into the sunset like the western heroes do

Kylemiichu used frustration! :/

Chaosrealm used topsy-turvy!

Kylemiichu used endeavor.
If I’m being honest here, this is one of the things I really detest about these games. If I had an ability to influence someone’s posting ability like this, I swear I’d never employ it on principle. It’s not funny and it’s not in anyway constructive or conducive to a good and fair game.
Play, play the game tonight

Borderline

Nick Fury and SHIELD have been my allies for years! My friends! And I still don't know why they'd want to trash Tony Stark. But they're not up against Stark any more —they're up against Iron Man! And by God, they're going to know it!
