What makes you think he was rezzed as a baddie?
Isn't that role, Sharon Agaton,a baddie? She's a Cylon, right?

there were 2 number 8s at the beginning - boomer and athena. boomer was a human who had the cylon switch fliped - and though before it fliped she was human, once the switch fliped she sided cylon.

Athena was a cylon that knew she was model 8 cylon who ended up being the replacement for the hole boomer left in the fleet. If there were *any* cylon I could think would be civ it'd be Athena.

linki - @ Rico -how else would you have me do it?

I'm about done for tonight - I know I have very little to do early tomorrow but my catsup will be the same.
Yeah, I started watching the series last night;I had tried before but only made a few episodesinand hadno idea what I was watching. I think I will have to buckup & buy the mini series though, a lot happened apparently before season 1, it waskind if like starting in the middle of a story. Had I not known about it from *this game* I would have been pretty perplexed by teh multiple Sharons. Even knowing it, I got their plotlines a bit mixed up.

@OA, I know your voting reason was in someone elses post, but I wanted to hear it from you. Look at it this way; I feel pretty good about Polo, and you voted him not giving a reason in your vote post in a thread with a billion posts over a holiday weekend, and when I look it up all I see is a spat you had with him over puzzle solving. I am not sure why you think that makes him bad. That is why I asked. Vague vote in insane thread is double vague. It stood out to me so I questioned it.

Hopefully with the holiday weekend gone, we can settle into a more normal game routine.

Post game it is fair game, but ongoing is not, imo. If you avoid mentioning it specifically, like say "I have see X do this when bad"; without saying where you saw it, that should be fine, though.

Your mission this morning, should you choose to accept it is to send Kat and Hot Dog on a sortie at 5:49am EST. If you choose to continue our original checkerboard pattern, go with sector B2.

You also have many other sector options. Take a look at the grid below, you may choose a random sector that tickles or fancy, or start a diagonal off one of the other blue sectors.

A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 A6
B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 B6
C1 C2 C3 C4 C5 C6
D1 D2 D3 D4 D5 D6
E1 E2 E3 E4 E5 E6
F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6
@Rico~ when Indi posted this she said pattern or not as we please. I went with the pattern, but if any of the sectors was an "8" I might have deviated. Deviation will keep it from being predictable if the cylons know where the ship is. I thought we worked this out yesterday?

Is that to imply that you think Epi wanted to self-reveal as a good guy or as the appearance of a good guy?
I wasn't sure. His reaction to being rezzed 15 minutes after asking to be lynched was:
Epignosis wrote:Did the post actually say So say we all?

I'm not sure.
at 11:28

then
Epignosis wrote:I'm in it for the long haul. If you want to lynch me Day 2 is up to you.
at 11:29.

At that stage I thought he was a rezzed cylon baddie, and then the show lore people stepped in to explain the character.

So I went from one (bad) to the other extreme (potentially good) but still kind of thought he knew he was coming back. For someone who was just asking to be lynched 15 minutes ago, his reaction to living was not what I expected. With everything else I doubt there is a Seemer, so I am thinking he is actually not bad.

I can assure you that wasn't the case. I was initially indignant about taking votes for the "reasons" ( ) I was taking them, and then later I was bowing out. I had no expectation of returning.
OK, cool. It just struck me at the time, so when I saw JJJ say that about you wanting to take votes I knew just what he meant. Also keep in mind that this impression came at a time when I assumed all cylons were bad. Up to thatvpoint, people were calling people "toasters"; no one had said there might be GOOD toasters.

You just seemed so upset over the direction the conversation was going, and then 15 minutes later, you were "meh". But everyone who knows the canon says you are a good toaster.

As much as I'm struggling with this game, I am enjoying very much the challenging theories you are proposing. I'm not fully caught up yet but in relation to your comments above, from my reading of things Gaius Baltar (Human) fills the detective role in this game and can determine whether any given player is either Human or Cylon. The detective role is from my experience, exclusively a Town role. Apart from the possibility of a Human traitor, surely that suggests that the bulk of the Mafia team is indeed Cylon (not necessarily all of the Cylons either as I believe the situation with Epi evidences). Is it unreasonable to make this assumption? Otherwise, surely the detective role would be nothing but a farce
Hmm, you're probably right about that. I still think, almost above any other pairing from the show, that Gaius and Six may be connected in the game, so whoever brought up the possibility of them having a Lovers role would be right, I think.

Glorfy! I screamed and screamed at Golden for not allowing us to be Mafia mates like I asked in the sign up chat. He got a strong lecture, let me tell you!
Either Lovers, or possibly Marilyn MonRobot can recruit him? I have been doing ALOT of reading today, wikis etc. but I am not sure if that is possible in the story arc?

How active I am is not alignment-indicative, especially at the moment where I can't be as active as I used to, and if that's the was the crux of your whole scumread argument on me D1, it's a bad one.
he said in one of his other posts that he read the flips, but here he talks to ika who is dead? And activity level is definitely a tell for some people and no one here really knows his Meta. I think Glorfindel knows him? Glorfindel, any thoughts on him, if so?

I lean civ on Scotty. KlingonGuy has not said much re suspects, but I love this post:
SokothQultuq wrote:No hidden meaning. I was just poking fun. 8-) As for suspecting anyone... I'm not sure how your supposed to get a feel that sort of thing yet. I'm reading along and spotting little hints about peoples potential characters but outside of this there is nothing to justify that anyone is any particular person and therefore its hard to make an educated decision. Most of you have played together for some time based on the banter and have a clue about how each of you react so it kind of puts the noob in the room at a disadvantage. LOL

Based on certain people's actions and reactions I've yet to see anyone do anything outright damaging. Some people who were quick to assist are suspect to me sometimes but that is difficult to gauge because normal people would be helpful. I think I've got a read on at least two peoples background characters based on activity, paranoia, and mentions of Heath Issues assuming that was not intended as a RL outburst which it could have been.

I find it very difficult to point a finger without enough evidence to say that they are a baddie or a goodie. I do think it odd to encourage voting for players who've not yet participated though. Especially coming off a holiday weekend. Giving it a couple of days would yield better results to see how they jump in. But that is my humble read of the current situation.
But I hope to see him jump in sooner rather than later.

Looking at her ISO, I do in fact get an odd vibe from zebra, right from the start with her gung-ho "hey matt let's chat" and general eager, almost flippant tone. She participates in the "could some cylons be good"/win condition debate and I actually agree with everything she said on that topic, but otherwise I don't feel great about her. She also said "don't lynch me because I'm town" verbatim two separate times, unprompted, here and here. Does she usually do that? It feels off to me.

She didn't give a reason for her sudden vote on Ricochet and when asked she said he was "trying too hard" and explained that a bit more, but her vote post just felt so out of the blue.

I will most likely be voting for Zebra today. I would like to see her respond to this and my earlier post about her.
I don't know if this is what I'm supposed to be obligated to respond to or not since you haven't asked me any questions or anything. Um...I disagree? You haven't mentioned anything about my behavior this game with either of these posts that I feel is alignment-indicative for any player, so I don't have anything to deny or clarify. I find it a little suspicious that your focus is on me for elements that are consistent with my play style regardless of alignment.
These two quotes you post look like she is looking for a reason to vote for you, manufacturing a suspicion, to look like she has one.

The first one especially, "Well she talked about this non-suspish topic, and I totally agree with her, but otherwise, meh".

More than anything this makes me want to vote for her.

MetalMarsh89 - gives me the impression of being more focused and preocuppied during Night One, compared to having to plow through banter and reasonless votes during the two Day phases so far. For the life of me, I can't find this trustworthy. FoS

SVS - suss matter from previous Day seems defused, in which at least in one half of the story we seemed to arrived to some idea that it was all strange interpretation, nevertheless I haven't quite completely shaken the feeling of her knitting me into a lynch, with misrepresentation thrown in the mix and everything, and I don't remember her actually ever addressing that part eloquently. If this is perhaps on a personal interaction level, on a game level, I had to resort to ISO, because I didn't remember seeing her post much or any major input in her posts, and indeed her Day Two looks sparse, reads are sparse, except when she rather made use of G-Man's list to cover everyone herself in at least a few mentions. Don't know what to make of this. I'd somewhat have expectations of a more resolute SVS, even at this stage already, with at least one or two elaborated leads. I'd keep the FoS on her as well.

I already voted, bea.

I am neither cornered nor a baddie :shrug2: I'm afraid I'll get lynched for basically the same reasons I do in almost every game, it's really frustrating at this point but I don't know what to do since no matter how or what I post people seem to read it as suspicious.

linki @ SVS I have no memory of how I played in recruitment (I assume you're talking about the latest one) and I don't know what you mean by "anyone but me" but I swear I'm just innocent and clueless this game.

linki @ bea: I might still vote for zebra even though I feel less strongly about her, but I kind of think I'll be voting more out of self preservation at this point and she has some votes to compete with those on me anyway. I'd rather not vote LC but if it ends up being a choice between voting him and getting lynched myself I'll do it. I'll wait as close to the end as I can though (without missing it this time  )
Yes, the most recent recruitment where you were bad.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Day Two

You know what, I meant A world Reborn, not Recruitment. You were bad in that one, too. It was posts like this your last day, as you were taking suspcion:
nutella wrote:I'm kind of lost as to who I want to vote for today, in both groups. I could see myself voting for Bubbles, I guess. I'm still waffling on Sig -- sometimes I really want to agree with Golden that it's a weak bandwagon, and sometimes I really find him suspicious. In group 2 I could also see voting for Luke or maybe HB.
nutella wrote:
juliets wrote:I have gone back and looked at Matt's case on nutella. Basically, though nutella contributed during the day it took her only 8 minutes to decide to throw her vote on Sorsha. This is ironic because at the same time she said she wanted to give Bubbles a chance to respond to the allegations against her. Why not, then, let Sorsha have an opportunity to respond? In addition, there was a 4 - 4 - 4 tie on Dom, Bugla and Banana. She avoided getting involved in that tie vote.

I would like to hear what Epi and Golden say about their thoughts on nutella. I might consider her as an alternative to sig since i have Epi, HamBoy, Golden, TH all saying I am not reading sig correctly in the genuineness of his sincerity and I don't know him at all.

juliets wrote:Epi I missed your post while I was posting. Since there is no case would you mind sharing your thoughts on why you voted nutella? I am looking for a good reason to pull my vote off of sig since so many of you think I am misreading him.
I think it would be better if you read nutella and decided for yourself. Why must your reason for voting sig, or nutella, or anybody else come from another person?
There is no reason my reason has to come from anyone else. You have been trying to convince me not to vote sig and I thought you might be helpful in finding an alternative.

@nutella - I have read through your posts several times and I don't see a response as to why you gave Bubbles a chance to respond but you didn't give Sorsha a chance. I see the part where you voted Sorsha first and then saw the Bubbles comment but that still doesn't answer the question as to why not give Sorsha the same chance you were giving Bubbles.

Once again you are misinterpreting my comment on Bubbles, and ignoring my explanation of the timing of my Day 1 posts. At the time that I quickly read Sorsha's posts and decided to vote for her, there was about half an hour left on the poll and I had to leave before then, so I could not stick around for her response. The Bubbles comment pinged me, but not nearly as strongly as Sorsha's posts had, so by saying I would wait for Bubbles' response I meant I would wait UNTIL THE NEXT DAY to pursue her further, since there wasn't enough time left and I had to run. My ping on Sorsha was strong enough at the time to go ahead and vote for her, and I knew it wouldn't actually have an effect on the lynch but I often use my Day 1 vote as a symbolic indication of my strongest suspicion.

You're comparing two things which in my mind are not comparable. I couldn't give Sorsha time to respond because I had to vote right then. I was not even considering voting for Bubbles that day, I was merely recording that it was an interesting point and I looked forward to her response for the next day.

Matt F wrote:nutella, splints, Sorsha - Do you plan on keeping your votes on Bubbles in Group 1 even though it looks like she'll already be lynched in Group 2?
I mean, it looks like I have the most votes in group 1 so if someone else gets a couple more I would change it  Also I'm not sure if what Tranq said is right or if two players will get lynched. I hope he's right because otherwise it looks like I'll be lynched (for very weak, if any, reasoning :disappoint: ) but I had assumed both groups would have a lynch.

Dom, Sorsha, care to give reasoning for your votes? I'd like to be given a chance to defend and perhaps change your minds. Lots of incorrect assumptions have been made about my posts and I just want to know what your reasoning is.
You have the same feel tome, you sound the same. Unspirited. You seem to be fighting back yet resigned at the same time, if that makes sense?

I am sorry if I am wrong, but you sound just the same to me.

No, I am stating sig and JJJ as my top suspicions. I already said, please don't lynch me. Let Gaius check me tonight.
So you are not answering my question? Why didn't you vote to save yourself? You are not acting like someone trying to not die. You are acting like someone trying to goad people into voting for him.

I'm just crazy ol' LC, S~V~S. No goading, I don't think enough people are convinced I'm bad to vote for me anyway. If you want to catch a baddie, or even a Cylon, then don't vote for me. It's so simple! I'm going out to buy diapers now.

He's trying to get lynched. I think he is not gonna die. There could be civvie reasons for this, but if he were a civvie I doubt he would play them up. He is egging people on, he made a vote that could not save him when he had the most votes, or the second most votes.

He wants to be lynched.

I have no clue. But it seems to me that he wants to be lynched. Have you ever seen LC not vote to save himself? He's taking votes, and he swoops in and instead of schmoozing people or fighting back, he pokes JJJ & you with sticks, and makes a tangent vote?

Well, if I am going to make that 5:49 I need to go to walk the dog & go to bed. Or walk my dog & come back, lol., to see what BR says about my theory.

Linki @ sif, I think EPi is probably a nice cylon. The kind that pets your dog without squishing his head... much. Becasue Golden has specified where he HAS veered from lore, like in the identities of the Final Five, I think that for the most part he has stuck to canon. I have not gone far in the series, but i have been spending tons of time in the Wikis.
