It's happened a few more times since then. I don't think he's serious anyway. He gave his seriousness a 3/10 earlier.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:19 pm Here's Mac tinfoiling me in the GoC. I was town.

Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 3]
timmer was town at the wazoo on Day 1.
Epi and Long Con have not looked they’re trying to deceive or misguide the thread at any point.
Michelle’s early posts upon subbing in looked like someone who both wanted to solve the game and was not informed about specific happenings.
Wilgy has been relatively engaged at times, and I think one specific post of his pointed to an earnest effort to read Creature post-flip for teammate interactions.
sig flipped out after we lynched Creature and thought we should have lynched me instead. No teammate is going to react that way.
DDL has done nothing that I think is incompatible with him being scum and I have found more questionable content in his ISO than anyone else’s.
Tony has not done anything that strongly suggests that he is either alignment to me.
Sorhanova did nothing until right now.
Mac did nothing for days and then showed up and did his Mac shtick for 10 minutes and left.

Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 2]
These posts come after he had publicly stated (and drawn attention to) his desire not to share reads during the night phase. I do not like the way that post, coupled with these ones here, seems to suggest that DDL is responsible for Quin getting killed by having town read him too much. It seems phony and a little calculated.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 2:35 pmDragon D. I have caught scum epi multiple times in the past (and been fooled by him multiple times), and every time i’ve caught it’s been because I was able to identify something specific in his play. What’s your problem with the “foreshadowing emotions”?
But since you asked about the "foreshadowing" point in particular: I thought it looked odd, perhaps disingenuous, that DDL made this post where he attempted to assign a read to your emotions about the Day 1 lynch, and then later adopted the exact same emotions he was projecting onto you. Something about the progression feels off. Like, if he was feeling that way about the lynch when he commented on your response I would expect him to express more direct sympathy towards it, rather than to offer speculation and hypothetical sympathy ("a sentiment I've felt myself before" rather than "a sentiment that I agree with"). This sequence makes his own outrage about the issue seem false or fabricated.
I made those posts while catching up.
My sentiment about the CFD thing changed as I read through the night posts and got angrier about them. That's why the early posts are merely agreement and the later ones are more emotional.

This is the most substantial post mac has made, and most of his follow up chatter was "Sloonei is scum", so I'm not sure how much any of these words really matter. Michelle is the only player he does not read negatively here. I'm intrigued by the point about LC and sig though.MacDougall wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 4:23 am Hey it's tomorrow. I see Dom was lynched. I am enjoying reading a game where people are forced to make assertions and shit against me based on nothing. I've not lived this long in a game I've lurked before. I can't promise I won't continue to.
I will however say that Sloonei and TSP pinged me. Epignosis also has some content that I was surprised to see was his. His tone is unusual.
Sloonei is playing quite within himself. I don't think he is a town voice. TSP 's post count list is pretty busyworkish. TSP where's your obvious town play?
Michelle I like. Sig and LC has this weird moment where they coalesced some equally unwarranted suspicion towards her which could be btsc leakage.

Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 3]
In A World Asunder, Mac was scum and tried to turn a lynch around on me because I had expressed suspicion against his teammate (juliets) on Day 1 after another civilian (G-man) had introduced a case against her (link).
Mac was attempting to argue that our benevolent host G-man and I had coordinated an attack against an easy civilian target. But we were both civilians, and the person he was defending was actually his scum partner. I'm not arguing that the exact same scenario is playing out right now, but the similarities are striking: Macdougall is arguing that two players (Long Con and sig) are launching a coordinated attack against a civilian target, who could presumably be seen as an easy target (Michelle).

I never try to look for partnerships like this when both players are still alive and unconfirmed, but if one of them is scum then I'd be very inclined to look into the other.

Replacements can enter with pizzazz and authenticity regardless of alignment.
it had been too long since anybody said pizzazz.

I've felt significantly better about DDL over the last few hours, btw.

Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 3]
Some hosts on the Syndicate have started to randomize automatic kills in the event that the mafia team doesn't submit one. I dunno if G-man would do that. But it's a thing.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:18 pmnova michelle misses a killDragon D. Why?TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:20 pmI think a Wilgy Lynch is better than a Mac lynch. Probably slightly better than a Nova lynch.Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:15 pmAnd I'm not feeling the wilgy lynch at all.
It's wilgy. Normal scum tells don't cut it. Either have a really good reason, or admit you are randomizing the lynch, because wilgy is a crapshoot.

Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 3]
So all of this seems to hinge on DDL being scum?TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:25 pmThe way Day 2 played out my guess is that DDL/Mac isn’t a likely scum team. But I could see DDL/Wilgy. I have a slight scum read on Wilgy and no read on the other two, but I tend to ascribe to the “give replacements more than half a phase” philosophy and I think the “Nova lacked pizzazz” case is lacking. I haven’t really read the last two hours (Jeopardy was on) so I’ll go reread and see if anything catches my eye.Sloonei wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:21 pmWhy?TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:20 pmI think a Wilgy Lynch is better than a Mac lynch. also it seems you've misread the nova case.

Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 3]
... also tony's answer was not an answer. I asked why he suspects wilgy and he told me a bunch of stuff about Day 2 and people who are not wilgy. What has DrWilgy done that merits suspicion?

Re: The Polka Heist [DAY 3]
Mac is a candidate today in my opinion.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:28 pmWell it means there are less possible worlds where Mac is scum. Mac isn’t currently in lynch contention so that’s irrelevant.Sloonei wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:26 pmSo all of this seems to hinge on DDL being scum?TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:25 pmThe way Day 2 played out my guess is that DDL/Mac isn’t a likely scum team. I probably did misread the Nova case. Again, Jeopardy.
