There's either a role blocker or a redirect in play, and they're either bad or a wildly incompetent civ.

I don't know why Mac thinks Dunya was a weird choice for NK, she was one of the most blatantly civ players in the game. I figured it was pretty much 50/50 for either her or Jay as the first to go.

My initial reaction is suspicion of the people calling out JJJ for focusing on game mechanics and structure. JJJ is well established as our exposition character, so suspecting him for that feels like trying to ignore everything that came before, like Rian Johnson did with Last Jedi.

It may change later, but for now I'm voting Glorf because he's so trustworthy that his status will never be in doubt, Wilgy because a crazy and unorthodox captain sounds fun, me so that someone will have voted me, and Marmot because I have a spare vote.

Even if Mac wasn't consistent in his analysis of Sloonei's treatment of Ambray and Nutella, that doesn't mean he's bad. Civs are inconsistent in their positions all the time.

Having said that, I feel good about Epi and think his case on Mac is a good look for Epi.
