I agree with this. It's not even necessary to not target anyone, it's pretty likely one of it's targets has died by now and they could just claim they were targeted that night. It's why I put no stake in people who are claiming to be targeted now (ie Bullzeye). Doesn't automatically mean I think Bullz is Scarecrow, it just has no influence on my opinion.

I agree with this. I'm less interested in what people claim now, and more interested in breadcrumbs verified with behaviour.

I think Bubbles vote and limited posts are a bit too well informed. I know she says she was here in the 10 days between her posts, but I don't recall ever seeing her. Her post about Doms chattiness level was bizarre, as was her vote for me.

I need to do some more reading on Matt, I don't think he looks much like GOC Matt to me. The Derp Index is also telling for me; he has 477 posts with 23 derps so far in this game, an index of .05. In GOC he had 308 posts, with 34 derps, an index of .11, more than double. He was blendier in general there, only coming to full Mattness in endgame.

I will say, I did genuinely see Bubbles multiple times. I thought it was weird she wasn't posting and for a while it made me wonder if Mac's 'people are getting arrested' theory was right. I can't remember in exactly what time of the game this was happening, though.

But, when I went through her posts, I can definitely see the points on her.

Glad to see that, because i'm not bad. So curious on your thinking about who everyone is. Do you think there are only 3 baddies/bad indies left in the game?

I don't think that can be right. The numbers don't check out.

Some of those I see as town could be indy or neutral. So could ekeknat and equivocate.

I think we've seen the back of the Joker, Poison Ivy, and Ra's al Ghul.
Partly based on what others are saying, I think the Riddler and the Scarecrow are still in the game.

The other five could be amongst the dead, the inactive, or the participating. I think it's harder to catch them, because they don't necessarily need to have an agenda.

I do think people who have been targetted by the Scarecrow in the past may have left breadcrumbs, though, and that helps us narrow down.

I hadn't noticed that the Scarecrow has to be lynched to get the benefit of the antidote to win con thing.

I'm not opposed to trying to lynch the Scarecrow, but if I was going to seriously vote for someone on the idea they are the Scarecrow, I'd want to understand more about why you think it can't be certain candidates.

Also, do we have any evidence the Scarecrow is currently alive? I was targetted so long ago it could be nearly anyone.

So, all in all, where have I come to after that?

I think there are some legitimate reasons to read bubbles either way... more reasons to see her as bad than I did before this convo... and I wish she would come back and engage on the suspicions.

actually i thought the position 1 also had many protector - ish options, compared to some of the other positions.

But in all her other games, where she has been civ... she has said things exactly like her first Arkham quote. Claiming she was good/civ/town.

The reason I find Bubbles good, is because I think she has trouble lying about being town if she isn't.

Having said that... one thing that didn't occur to me sooner. If she is civ I think she is cop. If she is cop, she could have been recruited after this point.

My feelings on these.

I feel like 5 is the biggest pointer to a baddie bubbles. Saying she would have voted sabie? That does genuinely bother me.

7 doesn't bother me too much at all because I'd seen bubbles in the thread for long periods of time often without posting, so it is entirely plausible that she was mostly up with the thread to me. I think if the idea of her being 'informed' is you think she wasn't reading the thread - well, its no wonder we differ there, because I'd seen her doing it quite regularly. Regularly enough to believe she could be sending in the kill before I was even thinking about the fact that she'd only need to be around once every two night phases. I still did believe she could be sending in the kill until last night, but you've rightly pointed out that team PMs are allowed.

6 doesn't bother me so much because I understand why Bubbles would choose to defend Glorfindel. They are in some ways kindred spirits, with similar friendly tones and who struggle with the more severe aspects of the game. In addition, the suspicion of SVS was no longer held by me at that point and wasn't really going anywhere so I don't know who would have informed her that voting SVS was a good idea... unless it was glorfindel, which it wasn't. If anything, this post to me speaks of her not being informed... the smarter thing if she was a baddie with a teammate would be to inform her that she should vote glorfindel.

The one person I could see bubbles as bad with is Matt, like I can see where you are coming from if thats your angle, but he is one of two people she defended, the other was glorf and glorf was civ.
