2-way tie now with Leslie's self-preservation.
I prefer this tie over a solo Jamm.

Well, considering this EoD, I have some coin flipping to do, and there will inevitably be a bit of a time delay. I'll keep the thread open for now and will relay the relevant information to Perd Hapley so that he can report the result post to you all ASAP.

I really hope Jamm's bad. Otherwise we just voted for two civvies. He's on my suspicious list anyway, so if I survive then we'll know for sure.

Either that or the 3-way was for Leslie to escape. But Chris' last line - vote synchronization makes little sense.

Yeah I don't get that either. He could have secured the lynch of a suspect, but instead put us in a 3-way tie. That requires total ignorance of where the tally stands with 2 minutes remaining in the day.Ron Swanson wrote:So Knope and Barry were at two a piece, Chris deems Larry suspicious, but moves to further tie the two with Jamm?!

Just to recap.Ron Swanson wrote:Councilwoman was in a rebuttal mode for most of the phase and she has thorough and reasonable at that. Some of the details are not absolving or ones I would describe as satisfactory, but overall I'd say feel better about her after this process.
Knope - up until a few hours ago, there were very little reasons to dissuade from a lead on her, with all the narration shifts on me and April, her speculation game regarding the mafia (April was already more eloquent to point out the nonsense), her deflections and such, if only not for the doubting thought of too much clumsiness in all of this. Plus, until Jerry became first wagon, she let herself in front, which inserts right away the doubt of whether she's not genuine in saying she's town "despite all there is".
I definitely didn't get the "I'm voting for Councilwoman Knope" out of that.

The story of this Day phase is that it will end at 8:30PM Eastern time, in 5 minutes. The thread will be locked precisely at that time.
I am now being informed that 'locked' means that none of you will be able to post, but I still will be able to, in order to give you the result.

Re: [DAY 2] Parks and Recreation Mafia
It seems my vote came at a point to tie it up. When last I looked at the votes, Jerry was leading by a decent margin but I felt more suspicious of Jeremy Jamm as I was reading. I am still catching up with my reading, but my vote was not intended to create a tie, since I wasn't even aware that it was going to do so. I literally cast my vote with two or three minutes to spare I think and then fought with my vote post for another minute or two after that because my Gryzzl internet was being a little difficult for some reason. I can understand how you might find it suspicious, but it was nothing more than a coincidence. I was not protecting Jerry. Also a coincidence, I dated Jerry's lovely daughter Milicent and she broke my heart. Good times!

Day 2: Tap Tap Tap
Welcome back to The Perdple's Court.
Tonight we've listened to the testimony of these witnesses and the jury has cast their votes. Leslie Knope claims that Jeremy Jamm is a terrible human being and Councilman Jamm responded that Ms. Knope is a big doo doo head. Those were both arguments that I found compelling.
Now let's turn to the jury to receive the verdict. It seems there is a tie vote in which both Ms. Knope and Councilman Jamm received the same number of votes as each other. That means I will decide the winner making the other person the loser. And that loser would be Councilman Jeremy Jamm. To make it official, I will now bang my little judge hammer.
I'm Judge Perd and this is The Perdple's Court.
Spoiler: show
The thread is now locked for the next 23.5 hours. If you have an active power, send in your PM.

Re: [DAY 3] Parks and Recreation Mafia
I find it interesting that 2 of the people I am suspecting, Donna & Craig, voted to tie up to the vote on Leslie. But... Mafia wouldn't all vote to save Leslie, right? Has Donna/Craig/Leslie even communicated with eachother in this game?? I mean, if Mafia has a day chat, they might forget to talk in THIS day chat.
In any case, I'm going to start the day with a vote on Leslie. I wouldn't mind a Chris lynch today either.
Sorry I wasn't able to check in at the end of the day, was out with the fam. There was no "unvote" option yesterday, so I couldn't unvote Ron; Ron definitely has stepped it up yesterday, in my eyes, in towniness. I know other players always thought he was town, but I'm just not used to players roleplaying x.x throws me off. Ron questioning me, and accepting some answers but not others to things I have said/done really helped me getting over my tunnelvision on the guy. Sorry Ron
ps. you DID claim Citizen twice :P
Chris, can you give us a read on Leslie & Donna?

Re: [DAY 3] Parks and Recreation Mafia
RIP April
I realize that the events leading up to the last lynch don't look good for me. For those of you who missed it and may be confused by the posts, I'll admit that I changed my vote from Jerry to Jamm at the last minute to save myself. I know I'm a Vanilla Townie, and he was on my radar at the time. For the common good, I thought it was better to lynch him than me. I was acting in the moment, and I realized after it came out that he had the same role as me that it probably did more harm than good because most likely I'll be lynched next. Let's face it, our numbers are getting bad and they're about to get a whole lot worse if I'm lynched.
I still think Jerry is a solid lead, but I want to give him a chance to defend himself. I also think that Ron's buddying up with April could have been an attempt to hide in plain sight.
I don't really have much of a read on Donna. Compared to most of the people here, she has a rather low post count. As far as Chris goes, I may have mentioned this before, but I do find it somewhat suspicious that what he's been saying hasn't been much beyond roleplay, but he also hasn't said anything that's put up a red flag for me.Ann Perkins wrote:Chris, can you give us a read on Leslie & Donna?

Re: [DAY 3] Parks and Recreation Mafia
I think you're a pretty solid lead, too. You've been accusing me this whole time with nothing to back it up and for both votes, you've attempted to get me lynched. On nothing. And you almost got your way in the last one. All you've been doing is voting for me because I'm being "unhelpful" or some such excuse and voting for me when I've been putting in an honest attempt to be helpful.Andy Dwyer wrote:leslie KILLED april
Right now my top suspects are:
Jerry
Andy
On my radar:
Ron
Chris
Tom
It's a numbers game, and if we keep lynching civilians, we're not going to win this.

Re: [DAY 3] Parks and Recreation Mafia
Goodbye, April. You will be avenged. I will personally see to it.
I believe the mafia team in this game is a team doing the right moves. Scanned for the cop and found him, and now removed an all-but-confirmed civilian. This requires at least one functioning brain in the BTSC. If you still want to dispute that the mafia containts performant players, offer an adequate profile and point at someone.
As for me, this brings me to Chris, for instance.
To say that you suspect Jerry, but vote Jamm, while Jerry was a serious contender, is a mighty suspicious move. The only way you could even consider absolving such a move would be if Chris would have had no f***ing clue what the tally situation is.
But Chris did not say that.
Either Jerry was tied with Leslie and Chris, instead of voting Jerry who he still suspected (over Leslie, for which he had stated nothing relevant whatsoever during the game), voted Jamm.
This either looks like a vote meant not to doom Jerry for good, or to offer Leslie a lifeline, given that she was stuck, while in a tie herself, on Jerry.
Chris is the common denominator in this, anyway.
I will be gone fishing tomorrow till in the evening. To make up for this interval of absence, I will proceed with a vote on Chris.

You're a pain in the ass, Knope. Your Day 1 narration was "April and Ron are colluding". Then your Day 2 narration was to still try to scramble around that. I was rushing to ensure that I got my post in before the coin toss I believed was going to lead to my death. I'm certain that I'm good, but I was uncertain about Jamm. The most logical decision in the moment was to change my vote to Jamm because I know I'm good.Andy Dwyer wrote:explain this post as anything but a bad post

more LIKELY?
wouldn't it be CERTAAAIN if you were good!?
A very good point, and a much stronger lead than Jerry at this time. I will also be placing my vote for Chris at this time. If a new lead shows up, I will be around to revise it.Ron Swanson wrote:As for me, this brings me to Chris, for instance.
To say that you suspect Jerry, but vote Jamm, while Jerry was a serious contender, is a mighty suspicious move. The only way you could even consider absolving such a move would be if Chris would have had no f***ing clue what the tally situation is.
But Chris did not say that.
So either Jerry was still in the lead, by one vote, and Chris, instead of voting Jerry who he still suspected, voted Jamm.Chris Traeger wrote:When last I looked at the votes, Jerry was leading by a decent margin
I believe I changed my mind on that on day 2 and admitted that my logic was flawed. As far as the "Ron buddied up to April" bit, I was stating a possibility. I don't want to eliminate any possibility.Ron Swanson wrote:You're a pain in the ass, Knope. Your Day 1 narration was "April and Ron are colluding". Then your Day 2 narration was to still try to scramble around that. Now it's "Ron buddied to April". ***s sake.

Oops I forgot to vote before I left, oh well.
Noooo Leslie, why do you have to throw a wrench in my thought process and team up with Ron to vote Chris. Now i'll need to reread.
