Re: [SPECTATOR CHAT] Mafia of Montreal
I wasn't trustworthy, I had info and not much to make a case with, I think you had missed 2 votes when I was NKed, BR? I combed through the posts but there was nothing there that could not be said about others, except for the never mentioning Nutella bit. I lied about you telling me that, but I needed a hook
So I made a shitty case. SVS making a shitty case = info 9 times out of 10
Linki, yeah, that was a weird coincidence.

Re: [SPECTATOR CHAT] Mafia of Montreal
Wow, Zebras reply to Made, mega mega bad.
Now I recall how I used to read her when she was Keterman, when she is bad, she is not unlike boo. They both say a lot of sensible things, and are pretty on point, BUT the snark is notched just a tad higher, and then, after I am mostly agreeing with everything they say, or at least seeing theor point, they will suddenly say something totally & violently diametrically opposed to everything I know/believe to be true, and start pushing suspicion based on it.
Yeah.

I agree. Made is so obviously civ, I think a civ zebra would have picked up on it by now.S~V~S wrote:Wow, Zebras reply to Made, mega mega bad.

Yeah.
Plus, that post from Made is not waffly at all. I dunno how zebra concluded that.

Doesn't the song use female pronouns? I'm not sure actually but I always assumed that.Ricochet wrote:Wait, is Rose Robert a he?

Actually, it never does, it's always calling by name or "my RR". "mon chere" is simply my dear.Enrique wrote:Doesn't the song use female pronouns? I'm not sure actually but I always assumed that.Ricochet wrote:Wait, is Rose Robert a he?
It was that + stuff like "The gentlemen don't know whether to bow their heads
or tip their hats" + "You draw on your mustache while I powder my nose." that made me wonder aloud.
Then again, that last line could be just roleplay fun antics.
Maybe I'm just reading too much into it. The song others seems like a regular, hipsy, witty love song, in which two souls just connect in their own way.

Re: [SPECTATOR CHAT] Mafia of Montreal
Oh, forgot to mention, but of course the thing that threw me off was googling Rose Robert and only males coming up.
Re: [SPECTATOR CHAT] Mafia of Montreal
Hm yeah I always thought of it as a couple of (heterosexual) crossdressers, so you'd have the male singer wearing lipstick and RR wearing a moustache or whatever. But yeah, it's probably ambiguous because the interpretation doesn't matter and all you're supposed to get is that they're having fun roleplaying.

I don't know anything about Of Montreal, but this is my favorite song about gay prostitution:

Sorry I voted for you. I felt real dirty. I don't like doing that to teammates. I was just trying to distance myself. It wasn't worth it. I'll never do it to you again.

indiglo wrote:Hmmmmm... interesting. I think a bit of a re-read might be helpful for me. I am super curious about what that thing was, so hopefully I can find it on a re-read. I don't know you can or feel comfortable going into more detail, but I'll see what I can find. I don't think I saw what you saw, but I am always Teh Suck at role hints, etc.Spacedaisy wrote:I felt very certain about Nutella, since then I'm finding it hard to feel as confident about someone else. I suspected Long Con of being her partner, clearly I was wrong on that. The thing that changed my mind about him might not preclude him from being gay parade, but it felt more like a civ move than anything else. I won't preclude him from being bad, but I'd be interested in hearing cases on others too...
But, if it didn't preclude him from being GP in your mind... and they're the only team left... I think that's something too. Ya dig?
Look all you want, dearie! I'll even twirl! I have nothing to hide, I would say "nothing to see here"... but that's not entirely true, I am faboo. I think we're coming to a crossroads of the game, and it's time to shore up our sidelines, so to speak. I 100% think civs should win with civs, a nagging concern was bothering me, so I mentioned it. I think it's really important to try to coordinate the best we can, and we only have the thread to do it in, and we don't have a ton of time to do all that.a2thezebra wrote:Here are my nominations for GP mafia: Long Con, Made, ekeknat, in that order. I'm more than willing to hear opposition as long as whoever opposes has an idea of who to lynch instead and why. I believe that civs should stand with civs as well, and if anyone displays words or behavior that implies they disagree, I'm calling them out. Looking at you indiglo.
Mega linki...
I think these are the baddies. Trying to demonize civvies for trying to meet their win cons however with this "civs for civs" business. LC, Indi & Zebra. Using the civvies win cons against them as it were to make themselves look super civ.Long Con wrote:Depending on how the nightkills have gone, it looks like up to a third of the players alive have already won. It's good to see that the idea of Civs winning with Civs is popular, and the fact that someone I suspect is Coq says it warms my heart. I really think a Made vote is the way to go today.
Smart, but they sound a bit smarmy to me, faux, you know?
I am beginning to think I like spectrating better than playing

This one:
Typhoony wrote:Well I'm gonna get lynched.
So... I think tonight some protection for Ekeknat would be nice.
Tomorrow you guys should lynch LC if you want a Gay Parade baddie.
What else...
I want BR to explain what team she thinks Zebra is on and if she thinks LC is bad.
I don't think DF/ekeknat/Made/SD/sprityo are bad.
I don't think Dana is nutellas teammate, but could very well be LCs teammate.
Leaves BR/Zebra/Indiglo. No read on Indiglo. I'll let BR and Zebra fight it out and figure out which one of them is bad.
Linki with DF:
Nope.

Indi just sounds smarmy & fake to me, like she is *trying* to sound as noble as possible. Look at all of those smilies!
And yeah re Made, that post was very straightforward and the total opposite of waffly.
And yeah, that is pretty amazing. But I think those are our baddies right there, LC, Zeebs & Indi.

Oh hey! SVS, there's a good reason to fake being silenced if Made managed to get himself insanified 3 days in a row.

It's really down to the Coq civvies, but I don't think they'll be too happy about the way they got played today lol.
Re: [SPECTATOR CHAT] Mafia of Montreal
Isn't there only one Coq civ left?
Re: [SPECTATOR CHAT] Mafia of Montreal
I forgot all the dead players are here and outed. Yes, there is only one Coq civvie left But they still carry a great responsibility.
