These are the stupidest reasons to lynch me I've ever seen.

Save me. Bus me. Don't do anything. Ball is in your court team. I've never been mafia on a closed setup, so this is a brand new frontier for me.

I'd prefer to live though. :puppy:

They are definitely stupid. The one most advocating your lynch isn't even here. :shrug2:

I'm keeping my vote on Sorscha unless something drastic happens. I think it'll benefit the two of us the most if I do that.

You'd have to time it really well. But I don't know how easy that will be, seeing as the days aren't ending at a specific time.

I don't know how much mileage you'd get voting Sorsha when she has no chance of getting lynched. People here will read that as distancing from your teammate for sure.

You're better off saying you think I'm genuine and try to save me (just my opinion- I'll understand if you don't want to risk that).

I'm hesitating involving myself with you right now, especially after Sorscha gave you the opportunity to create a tie. I don't think I could say anything to defend you given I've previously defended you. I don't want to come off as though I was pushing your innocence.

I do have my reasons for having my vote on Sorscha, though.

Days are ending when the poll closes. You can set the time of the site to be your time zone, so that the poll will tell you when it ends.

Ooh. Alright

What does the Linki in half of everyone's posts mean? Similarly, what does ISO stand for?

I'm also surprised that G-Man didn't just vote you to save himself.

These words, eh!

Linki is when you pushed submit, and it shows you that other people have posted since you started drafting, and then you edit your post to address those other new posts before pushing submit again. Short for 'linkitis', if that means anything more.

Iso is short for reading an individual persons posts in isolation, ie away from the context of the thread. You can do this by pushing the 'in topic' button under their avatar.

I've been thinking about this setup ever since Sloonei and S~V~S died (and G-Man survived and died).

My initial instinct was that S~V~S had been a fake role reveal, but that's a Mafia power, not a civilian one (and a terribly nasty one at that). I was surprised.

In a 12-person game, 6v3v3 would be terribly unbalanced.

However, the protections are "mechanics" and not "powers," so with Quin, Sloonei, and G-Man all having protections,I think it means most people have them.

And there were apparently three kills Night 1, not two.

This is what I think the setup looks like:

Civilian
Civilian
Civilian
Civilian
Civilian

One protection, either from a lynch or Night kill.
Civilian with a kill

Mafia with a protection
Mafia
Mafia

Mafia with a protection
Mafia
Mafia

I think whomever we kill tonight will survive unless we hit the vigilante or the vanilla player from the other team. :sigh:

I had thought that I was lynch AND bulletproof going off of my role description. I interpreted 'attack on your life' to be all inclusive. Now I think I'm strictly a night-kill proof. That makes more sense since giving a mafia lynch immunity is unbalanced. I could have had fun with it if that were the case, though.

I sincerely doubt that there are two mafia teams. I wonder if all three power roles are vigilantes. If that's the case two were used night 1 and there's one more in hiding.

I think Wilgy might be a good kill tonight. He has a lot of confidence in what he's saying and he was completely unreasonable in attempting to lynch Epi so I think he could possibly be a cop if my previous thinking is wrong.

You survive the first anything. It could be either lynch or nightkill, but not the first of each.

You survive the first attempt, meaning lynch OR night kill.

S~V~S got lynched as vanilla Mafia. Not a vigilante. That speaks to two teams. I cannot fathom any other scenario.

DrWilgy is completely unreasonable all the time.

I'm still a bit unsure about the two mafia teams thing, but your thinking makes sense. Could SVS have been similar to a miller in that they appear as mafia on death? Maybe a traitor who would join the mafia team under certain circumstances?

There could also be a rogue serial killer.

LINKI!!!!!!!!!!!! That's good. I still won't say anything but that's nice to know.

When I wrote "one protection" in green, I meant that all those civilians had it (i.e., all civilians except the one without a night kill).

The civilian WITH the night kill would be there to (kinda?) balance it so that the civilians couldn't work out who was bad by process of elimination.

Speculation, but I host 25% of the games on this site, and I've been hosting nonstop since October. Whenever something is secret, I ask, "What would Epi do?" :D

I suppose that if two people die again we should really consider a second mafia team. I had an original suspicion that the people with the same starsign as another player would be bulletproof, but that doesn't work since Sorscha and sig have the same starsign but Sorscha isn't kill-proof.

I guess that having everyone protected in some way would justify a second mafia team, but I'm still not convinced it's more likely than a serial killer.

Who do you think we should kill tonight?

Killing sig would be nice since he's not currently after me and it might not look as bad. I am almost convinced Wilgy has a power role of some sort, however. I feel the same about llama, but I'm not sure he is a priority.

Now seeing that sig is onto you, I think we should kill him. It'd turn out like one of those 'Is Epi stupid enough to kill off everyone who suspects him' arguments and it'll be easy enough to convince them otherwise, I think.

If I'm remotely right about the setup of this game, I think my best shot at surviving a lynch is to pretend I won't be lynched.

You see, it's true that I've only ever been lynched six times in my life (three good, three bad, if you were wondering). That's from years of active playing.

But I've been Night killed more times than I can count. I almost never make it to endgame.

G-Man freely cast aside his protection. I would not do so- I would attempt to save myself in order to keep from being night killed (which is what always happens to me).

So it may be best to frame it that way, and if enough civilians also have these protections, they might buy what I'm selling and leave me alone.

Long shot, but hell.

You may as well try. You're currently the top lynch priority from what I can tell so it's go big or go home.

are you going to tell us if a team is eliminated, if there is more than one team?
Sounds like a question for general consumption for everyone. I'll answer there if you ask it there :mafia:

Indeed. But I can't give anyone an advantage. So if you want an answer, you'll have to figure out how to get it in a non-suspicious way.

As stated in the night post, Quin's protection has been used. He is equivalent to the rest of his teammates now.

Do you think that there are three mafia teams? Could it be some sort of starsign compatibility thing?

Could hosts confirm whether our starsigns impact the game in any way?

Whatever the setup, I think it may be wise to consider us all voting together since we have our numbers.

Four teams of three each?

That's true. Who would you recommend?

Math doesn't check out. G-Man was a civilian. So they say. :shrug2:

It is completely unreasonable, but it explains three kills each night.

Both sloonei and G-Man had 1-time immunities, so we could assume the other 2 living civ's have the same ability. That, and having three teams killing eachother during night phases might balance that out. That's what I think, anyway.

I agree too. There are only 7 players left, we'd only need to swing one of them assuming the votes all go to two players.

We might have to do some last minute switching again.

Bullzeye or thellama73. sig gave them both a pass. Bullzeye doesn't like to tangle with me when he is bad and llama has been hounding me for poor reasons. Both of them could go in light of sig showing up bad.

I think this past night was a huge shove in the right direction for us.

I wish I could give a girl a huge shove with my pelvic region. :sigh:

Or a huge shove down a flight of stairs. :feb:
