The Song That's Stuck in Your Head

Post by S~V~S »

Sometimes I find that passing the song thats stuck in your head on to others helps get it out of YOUR head.

So lets use this thread to get that noxious crap out of our heads

I've heard The Cure's 'Close to Me' about 3 times on the radio in 10 days, which is odd. So that's ingrained into my psyche for all eternity.

I recently got the box set of The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band (Amazing!) and I can't get "Look Out There's a Monster Coming" out of my head.

I sang this to my friend last night because he is sad over is cancerous cat. You'd think karma wouldn't bite me for it, but I couldn't go to sleep cause it was in my head.

So then I sang happy birthday in my head but then this classic ditty got in my head. I can't win.

Tonight - I was short handed and I had to bust out some srrs quick cleaning. This song was the one I wanted to hear. Song 2 on the album (though don't even get me started on 5 years) -

I was *just* going to clean the makeline. Then go do my office work. I was going to take care of the monster then my driver could clean tables and this and that...

Yea....Next thing I know.... I'm listening to Ziggy - and I'm thinking "ok - I'll quit cleaning when it hits side 2." Then it hits side 2 and I'm all but I've only got 3 more tables to go!!!!

Long story longer - I hit the office to do the banks and make the till right and enter in all the inventory - at the end of Ziggy pllllaaaaayeed guitar. I did 3x more than I thought I would - I'm in the office just long enough to hear rock and roll suicide (My favorite Bowie song) - before all goes quiet and I have to put my thinky mussels in gear. We leave the store like 10 minutes before I had us clocked out at - which covered our bank run. I did good tonight - even shorthanded!!!
