How long has Golden been out of the game? It's at least been a couple of days or so, and I just looked and he is STILL the number 2 poster in the thread. That's bullshit too. Or actually, Goldenshit.

You know... number 2 poster...

Day 7

The families gathered once again together, to discuss who might be a cop. There was a lot of disagreement and MP and Daisy watched from an office window above the warehouse floor where they were gathered. "Who do you think it will be today?" Daisy asked.

MP shrugged, "I've given up trying to anticipate what this crowd will do."

"And hope that they hit the mark."

On the floor the conversation flowed on until finally they began to coalesce around Turnip Head. He defended himself, but to no avail. The mob had decided. Turnip Head left the room, headed for the police department where he would turn himself in. He was only a block away when a shadowy figure stepped out, "Stop!"

"The families decided, if I don't go now, they will kill me."

"No, they won't. We won't let this happen. Come with me."

Turnip Head hesitated, but in the end he valued his freedom, so he followed. After all, he was too pretty to survive in prison.

Turnip Head has not been arrested. He is ?????.

It is now Night 7.

You have 48 hours to send in your night actions.

Note that Night 7 has been extended to 48 hours. This is because Daisy and I are leaving for Austin early tomorrow morning and we will be there until late Sunday evening, so we need Day 8 to end after we return. You may all talk in the thread during the entire 48 hours of Night 7 if you wish.

@Scotty - Deffo down with Boom tomorrow at face value. Before deciding for sure, I think some ISOing is in order. I like the 48 hour night. That will be good. We need to get some good work done again this night period. This has really surprised me, I think it's time to reevaluate even harder.

Nothing annoys me more than a lynch that doesn't end with the correct player dead and gone, but yes there are obvious positives to be drawn from this result. Someone tried to capitalize on this opportunity. We don't even know that Boomslang is bad yet, so I'd take care with drawing too strong a conclusion on that front -- but regardless this could have been a mislynch and that means something.

It's just speculation, and I couldn't really find much to prove or disprove the theory. I think it started because of Scotty's strange, midday affliction of Swedish Chef posting. It makes no sense that it started when it did based on any role we are currently aware of in the game... so he posited the thought that perhaps it has to do with the new people who joined right before he was afflicted.

That perhaps Dom (I think, he replaced Drac, right?) was the actual Secret Role of "Sockface" (not DDL) and that the Swedish Chef posting had to do with the actual Secret Role, which would now be active again after Drac's long absence.

So far, those killed by the Hitmen have flipped. So, if Hitman/Don does Boom tonight, I would think he would flip as well. Which would be boss.

He was still my number 2. Boomslang wasn't even on my list. If I'm going to be scumread for following your idea of consolidating votes, why am I even trying?

From now until possibly tomorrow, I'm going to be completely inactive. My internet connection has gone to absolute shit for some reason and this is my fourth time trying to post this specific post. I've also got that report due at 5pm I need to finish up and without internet it makes research completely impossible. So, I'm not thrilled and that's going to spill out on the thread if I keep going.

Also chaindeath, this most definitely WAS useful. I'll avoid saying why just in case scum haven't figured it out. Unlikely, but possible.

I just finished and submitted the report online (which is how it has to be done), but it's not what I would have liked to submit. I figured I should just submit what I have now that it's finished rather than keep going and risk not being able to submit it by the deadline and getting penalised. This makes me sad.

I'm hypothetically back in action, but don't get your hopes up. My internet provider is about as reliable as sig's votes are :haha:

Alex and I are going to Austin for a much needed three day trip. We can either end the night in the early evening in Austin tomorrow (which requires us setting aside time) or we can put up a post whenever we get back to our hotel on Saturday night, which will probably be the wee small hours of the morning. If we do the second option we will still end the following day around five PM, so the day will be a bit shorter than normal as a result. Let us know what you prefer. If you have no preference vote for whatever is easier for us. But if you have a preference, please let us know what it is. It won't inconvenience us to consider everyone's input.

lol wow guys.

Sorry I wasn't around this lynch, a storm knocked out the wifi and I didn't have time to catch up on my phone. Nice of y'all to try to slide my lynch through when I'm not around tho :suspish:

Just in case I die tonight I think BR deserves a reread from everyone... especially her behavior towards me around EoD2, followed by Day 3, while considering the kill attempts from Night 2.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of other things to say after reading how this all went down...

I think lynching BR would be an EPIC mistake.

Just becasue she misjudged YOU (which just about everyone did) does not make her bad.

I know that, like I said it's the timing of everything that concerns me. I admit I have a biased point of view on this.
