Enrique wrote:Oh, man, you should definitely get on IRC more. Emma is usually on all the time during holidays, not so much during the schoolyear. Lizzie is on at least for a few hours pretty much every day. I keep telling Dom to get on, but the idea just seems too complicated for him :p
That'd be great. With PhD, I doubt I'd have much time, but it'd be nice to pop on occasionally, for sure. I did go through a spell where I would get onto IRC and talk to people in the RM channel, mainly JC, leggy, reywaS, DP, etc., which was definitely fun. Then my laptop died and I lost the IRC software and I got busier. :p

Huh, really, when was this? I've been on #revmafia pretty consistently for a few years an I don't really remember you being there a lot. Maybe this April-July while my laptop was broken? Or maybe I take more breaks than I give myself credit for. But at least I'm there now :p

Shoot, I don't remember... it wasn't for too long of a period of time, but off and on for a few months. Must have been some point in '13 because I remember it was when I was looking into PhD programs. I'll have to retrieve another IRC client so I can at least pop on from time to time. I've been meaning to, but life's been plenty busy, lol.

Wow, Enrique, college sophomore? I remember when you and Dom & SoFi were in that teen thread at LP. And if any of you wandered into the DT, we threw you out, lol. Good Times :)

Hi! I told Keys to say hi to you for me yesterday, not sure if he came through :p

Haven't heard from Sparrow in aages, but even before he was gone he was already kinda disassociating from us. Who knows, tho, people come back to #piano all the time. In the age of the internet you can't truly disappear forever.

Wait, there is no such thing as loving college football too much. My dad went to Univ. of Michigan so we grew up as Michigan fans living in Alabama. And fans of the Ohio State Band cause we loved to watch that tuba dot the "i" in ohio at halftime of the Michigan/Ohio State game.
JaggedJimmyJay wrote: Sat Aug 21, 2021 3:24 pm Always good to remember that there is no such thing as a Mafia circumstance that is worth real human emotion. Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.

I like the sport, but I find the culture that surrounds it is a bit silly. Especially in Columbus.

Ooo fun name thread! My name is surprisingly Neil, even though I am lady. People always repeat my name back to me so, I say, "Yep, that's right, Neil. Like Neil Armstrong, Neil Young, or Neil Diamond, pick your favorite." It was my grandmother's and then my aunt's and now mine, so third generation tradition and all. Woot, woot!

Nell is a 1994 American drama film starring Jodie Foster as a young woman who has to face other people for the first time after being raised by her mother in an isolated cabin.
