DAY 4

"The victim did it?"

Everyone nodded. All evidence had pointed to this conclusion.

"Wait, does that make it a suicide?" The conductor pondered, considering the pros and cons of such a risque and transgressive plot twist.

"It seems you've seen through my charade," a rather not-dead owly voice says. And the victim stood, prepared to give an account for himself. Defeat colored his eyes the color of shame. Whatever color that was.

"It was my turn to clean the Owl Express," he said, "and I just decided to ... uh, fake my death, with this rubber knife. But all this trouble isn't worth it. I'll just start cleaning up now."

"Yer death just wasn't believable enough," the Conductor said, shaking his head. "Yer a failure of an actor."

"I know."

"You know what? I'm done shooting this film. It's a disaster. I think we'll film an action movie instead."

Lunalee was the Victim. Her role card:
speedchuck wrote:Sun Feb 04, 2018 2:55 pm You are the VICTIM, a 3P... Victim. You are the dead body. You do not want anyone to know that you aren't really dead.

You win if you are nightkilled or if you survive. You lose if you get lynched.

Thanks so much for hosting, speedchuck. Glad I was able to spare the time to play. It was fun! :D

Well played to my mafia teammate, Elo.

And awesome job to the other townies as well. If the game hadn't gone south with the initial mislynches and so many inactives, you all might have stood a fighting chance with what effort you active folks were giving it.

And lastly, well-played to Luna! Sorry you didn't end up winning. I absolutely hpe you come back and play another. You definitely were fun to play with!

Murder On The OWL Express Mafia

Flips on lynch
No NK reveals
Closed setup
No claiming
10 players

3P Victim - Survive or get nightkilled
3P/Town Conductor - Wins if two mislynches happen & town wins
Town 1-shot jailkeeper - Hat Kid
Town searcher/Doublevoter (searches for other town power role at night, gets told if he/she finds the power role) - Hat Kid's Uncle's Sister
Town Vanilla - Express Owl
Town Vanilla - Express Owl
Town Vanilla - Express Owl
Mafia 1-shot lynch janitor - C.A.W.
Mafia role cop - C.A.W.

Inactives kinda messed with this a bit, but in the end mafia deserved the win. I apologize to anyone who feels like the setup wasn't balanced. Pushing it to nine players was hard, and with 3 townies gone at the start, I think it was fantastic that the game went as many phases as it did.

Hope you guys had fun, even if the game wrecked me a bit. I'm exhausted.

Props to Lunalee for making it to endgame as a new player!

well.... that was fun. I think burglaries are clearly my worst game type since I tend to have a cautious playstyle, but that won't stop me from signing up for them. maybe next time I can try yelling a lot or throwing around empty accusations

it was fun playing with you lunalee, I hope you sign up for more games, even though you contributed to my death.

Thanks! I may sign up for a less fast-paced game next. This one was a little crazy.

I can't imagine playing a Burglary as your first game. Definitely super fast-paced. I suppose it is similar to IRL mafia in that way though. No worries, you did well!

Shame I couldn't have played and put a stop to MP's baddie game for you all. ;) I think there is a good chance I won't be able to play any Burglaries until after we move. Everyone and their brother requests Sundays off or certain shifts and of course I never get a set schedule or the days/shifts I would like. Hell, a weekend off would be nice! I think I got three weekends off total in the last year and a half. :sigh:

But once we move, I will be back into these Burglaries with a vengeance, I happen to think I'm not too awful at them.

Now watch I will never win one again, lol. Anyway, sad I missed this. Glad you guys had fun.
