Please join us this Easter for The Syndicate's Burglary Mafia adaption of

The Lion King
When:
I'm planning to kick things off at 17:00 (5:00 pm) EDT* on Saturday, 15 April 2017.

What:
Heaps of fun for up to 12 players as you relive this classic tale of courage, ambition, treachery and self discovery!

Where:
Right here!

Important notice:
I know that Burglary games here at The Syndicate normally fill up very slowly and are usually last minute scrambles for sufficient players to get the game on the road. I would ask however, that as a courtesy to your Hosts, if you intend on playing, please indicate so in the poll above no later than 06:00 (6:00 am) EDT Thursday, 13 April 2017

*Whilst every care has been taken to ensure that time zone conversions are correct, your Hosts absolve themselves of any responsibility for any drama caused through the miscalculation of silly time zone conversions (especially where they are impacted by daylight saving arrangements). :haha:

Unfortunately I will be on a trip that weekend. I encourage folks to get into it though, burglaries are a fun, and generally quite quick.

That's when I'll be moving house! My guess is that might be a day of rest after a lot of moving the day before but no guarantees that I'd have time or internet, so I better not.

I would like to, but I am not sure what my schedule looks like next weekend. For *reasons* my family is doing Easter this week, BUT my Dad may or may not be alone next Sunday, and as the only one living near him who WILL be around next weekend, I may wind up spending it with him. So I should have a better idea tonight of what my next weekend schedule looks like.

If it is Friday or Saturday, I can do it. Sunday is out for me. My Dad is playing coy, so I may or may not have to take the codger to dinner Sunday and probably won't know until Saturday.

I now have a dinner at 7pm this Saturday. I'd still like to play until my inevitable early lynching, but starting slightly earlier would make my life easier.

My dear fellow Syndicateers,

It is now less than ten hours until the scheduled kick-off of my Lion King Burglary Mafia game and despite Juliet's kind and timely site-wide reminder, it is currently not even 50% subscribed. Consequently, please be advised that I am officially cancelling this game. I'd like to thank very sincerely those of you who intended to play this game and I apologise to you for any inconvenience my cancelling this game may cause you. I'm sure that (like Wicked Mafia) this game would've been an incredible amount of fun but sadly, my judgement for scheduling these games appears to be remarkably poor.

I'd like to thank Juliets for her active support for this game and me - I appreciate it enormously.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very safe and happy Easter season :bighug:

That sucks Glorf :( It's too bad that you couldn't get this filled in time. Is there no way you can leave this game in sign-ups and come back to it whenever you have the time for it? These games do tend to take a while to fill, speaking from experience.
