Re: Homestar Runner [Night 1]
I think I'll go to the Town Drunk's tent. It's less crowded over there. Maybe more dangerous, but meh.

I'll die in a ridiculous way again.
At least the mayor has all the fancy stuff.

Please don't die! It would turely break my heart.Lizzy wrote:I'll die in a ridiculous way again. At least the mayor has all the fancy stuff.

I also think the mayor should donate his fancy stuff to the people so that it won't be destroyed in case his hut burns down.

Re: Homestar Runner [Night 1]
You should have picked Mayors hut then Vomps. You and Lizzy could be drinking that lovely vintage wine she pulled out of his cellar along with some delicious food you found in his fridge. Spill as much wine or beer on his carpet as you like! It's not Finalnd and not your rug, so go crazy!

Ture. I only picked the durnk because I thought I'd enjoy his company better than the mayor's.
Re: Homestar Runner [Night 1]
woohoo, I got up early today because its my birthday, and my kids have many wondrous things planned, and my ex is coming to town tomorrow so we can celebrate our ex-anniversary. In case I'm not around much, I'll wish an early happy birthday to Kate!!

FYI Mr. Trogder, if you happen to have picked Medicine Man Hut, I just want to let you know that the F Man will leave a bad taste in your mouth. However, in this group, we also have a mongoose, a llama, a dog, an owl, a bird, and a bunny, all of which are better tasting then Mr. Matt.

I said consummate V's!
Strongbad's email:
Here’s a story…’bout a guy named Strongbad…who’s answering da emails dat you wroooote!
Dear Strongbad,
I have been a long time follower of your e-mail concordance. One of my favorites was to Trevor the Vampire. He truly died before his time.
Part of me understands that my life as it is now, is not as awesome as yours is. Yet you are the model I aspire to be.
What advice would you give a kinda lame person so that they could move more into the realm of Strongbad awesome?
In need of guidance,
MostlyLame.
Dear 100%COMPLETELYLame,
You’ll never be able to rise to the awesomicitudosity of dee Strongbad variety unless you change your whole attitude.
First: Don’t be a follower of anything. Be da commander of EVERYTHING! Why read other hilariously amusing tings when you could be making fun of others in your own way!
Second: get rid of da rest of da parts of you dat aren’t full of Strongbadery. Like da part dat is understanding and self thinking and stuffs. Just do things before thinking! Thinking is for nerds who are like “oooo…if you take da square of da inverse as it relates to da principle of da other thing you can get…”….YOU GET A PUNCH IN DA FACE IS WHAT YOU GET WIMPY-DORK-GUY-BOY!
And finally, the best advice I can give to you is just don’t try. Many have sought to be awseomer than me and suffered a fate worth than death…what do you think REALLY happened to Trevor?
TREEEEEVVVOOOOOORRRRRRRR!!!!!
Ahhhhhh….da good times!

RIPIYWG Kate and Bullz! I hate to see you both go so early in the game.
Events - yikes - it's been a long time since I played a game with events and I can't even remember the types of things they usually are! I never liked to see them though - made me a little queasy.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 2]
RIPifywg Kate and Bullz.
In memory of Bullzy, my brother from another mother
On Another's Sorrow by William Blake
Can I see another's woe,
And not be in sorrow too?
Can I see another's grief,
And not seek for kind relief?
Can I see a falling tear,
And not feel my sorrow's share?
Can a father see his child
Weep, nor be with sorrow filled?
Can a mother sit and hear
An infant groan, an infant fear?
No, no! never can it be!
Never, never can it be!
And can He who smiles on all
Hear the wren with sorrows small,
Hear the small bird's grief and care,
Hear the woes that infants bear --
And not sit beside the next,
Pouring pity in their breast,
And not sit the cradle near,
Weeping tear on infant's tear?
And not sit both night and day,
Wiping all our tears away?
Oh no! never can it be!
Never, never can it be!
He doth give his joy to all:
He becomes an infant small,
He becomes a man of woe,
He doth feel the sorrow too.
Think not thou canst sigh a sigh,
And thy Maker is not by:
Think not thou canst weep a tear,
And thy Maker is not near.
Oh He gives to us his joy,
That our grief He may destroy:
Till our grief is fled an gone
He doth sit by us and moan.

re: presents. I recieved one in that game, but I learned from the cursed santa hat in the game before that to be wary of socks bearing gifts so I was NOT going to open it. Then I got NKed before it was time to decide. Or lynched or something? I don't remember. I just remembered I died before I had to send in the pm. The prezzies were crazy though. I never saw killing off half the player list in one swoop coming....
and the phrase "secret event" gives me crazy ptsd about being trapped in a chat room for a weekend searching for flags..... *kicks wabbit.* if the secret event is something not going on publicly, I'm glad to be in the dark about it.

Never mind the correction. Good and bad are easy to get mixed up and I think Blake would agree. I also think he has written a lot more kick ass stuff than the poem above.

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 2]
I think it was probably triggered by the number of deaths (3) and/or that each type of villain (the teen girl killer, the blue laser kill and Trogdor) was able to secure a kill. But I learned my lesson about speculating in this game!

Re: Homestar Runner [Day 2]
I get that green denotes off topic musings/discussions, but bea's last sentence goes from white to green back to white then back to green again within one sentence. Coupled with the fact that she has been removed from the poll this just struck me as strange. Could her removal be a cause (or possibly an effect) of the secret event?

I thought bea might have been removed because her email to Strongbad was picked for today's program and removal was her reward.
