Can someone explain to me why I'm wrong about Sig since he has no interest in doing so and no one seems to agree with me?

Many of his posts that don't involve his conversation with you come across as town to me, while a lot of what you are seeing doesn't look great but does remind me of reasons we've mislynched sig in the past. The thing that I find most troubling about sig is the feeling that he might have been trying to bait you, but otherwise I think he's actually looked relatively town this game.

I actually think you might be onto something. Sig is just a really tricky player to read; I never can seem to be right about him either. There have been moments on my own throughout the game when I felt like his thought process was genuine.

I do feel like his handling of you though is a bit shaky. That's definitely the weak spot in his ISO.

The thing about sig is, I'm not voting for him. The thing about Epi is, I can't read him for shit, but I'm not going to throw a vote at him for a possible mislynch, or more likely, a wasted vote when he decides he doesn't feel like being lynched and makes you all vote somewhere else.

I suppose the main hesitations I have in joining a sig wagon are (1) he has seemed genuine to me at other instances in this game and (2) due to how many times I've mislynched the guy.

Lunalee, why is dunya genuine exactly? You keep emphasizing that ad nauseum, but Golden, Mac, and I have put as much into the thread as she has, and at some point you even said you didn't buy what I was saying. Explain.

I'm moving my vote there now until I get a response upon which I can reassess.
Dunya has posted a lot. And of what I've read, I see nothing that makes me think she's not legit trying to find baddies.

Golden, Mac, and yourself have put effort into the thread, but I mean, Golden kind of agrees with me:
Golden wrote: Sun Apr 22, 2018 8:03 pm And am I finding MP shady as shit? I probably wouldn't go quite that far... but he's jumping out of his skin to make reads that aren't there, so certainly suspectable.
This doesn't answer my question, sorry.

Let me explain:

As of this moment, Golden is the top poster with 142 posts. I have 120. dunya has 87. Scotty has 86. Sloonei has 77. Mac has 76. You get the idea. dunya is not a sole beacon of effort this game.

Consequently, your read that dunya's effort is leading you to a solid town read of her is confusing to me, especially when you're apparently reading me as shady. Why am I shady? Why don't you have town reads of anyone else in that list?
I realize that dunya is not the sole beacon of effort in this game. You guys have been posting a lot, but I don't really care about post counts. My opinion of dunya is based on the fact that her posts seem to be genuinely helpful for analyzing the game.

As I'm reviewing posts to put my opinion of you and Golden into words, I've found that you seem to be patting each other on the back with town-reads. Just looks a bit suspicious for Golden to "confirm" you as a town read on multiple posts.

I don't have reads of anyone else in that list because right now because I feel like any read I put out is based off minimal data. I'll offer a read if something sticks out to me.

Eggplant.
But I don't see him engaging with Epi, or anyone else for that matter. This is an easy vote for a player who is acting strangely.

I haven’t read any of your posts from before the last three or so pages so “not really.”

You have no thoughts on your accusers?
These questions feel directionless and empty. I could vote for Jack. Let's do it. [VOTE: Jackofhearts] aubergine
Does anyone have a sense of how this compares to GoC Jack?

Jack's relative contentlessness is bothering me too. He's being hyper-Marmot.

While I'm on it, town read on marmot. He actually made a reasoned vote.

Right now, I'm looking at LC, Jack and Epi.

I think the chain on nova is bad. Nova has read as sincere to me.

I think the chain on dunya is... not as bad as nova, but not great. As it stands I'd vote Epi to keep too people I have a much better read on than him, but he's definitely third in that group of three I mentioned.

I will leave my vote there. I have work in a bit.
I hear you Dom... I'm just not convinced, at least not yet.
That's fine.
I just don't want to miss some obvious reason why people aren't really agreeing with me.

Hey LC, do you have any notable reads other than dunya? And what specifically in her post history is what led you to not believe her; like, if you were trying to convince me that she's bad news, what would should I consider then?
Nothing that big. I was getting suspicious of Golden there, and I can't decide if I should let it go. Then again, now Luna is voting for him, and her judgment in voting me was off. But a person's entitled to make mistakes.

I'm not that suspicious of most others, lots of my reading has been hasty catchup over thoughtful analysis.

I don't understand the nova thing, it seems like randomness.

I think the chain on nova is bad. Nova has read as sincere to me.

I think the chain on dunya is... not as bad as nova, but not great. As it stands I'd vote Epi to keep too people I have a much better read on than him, but he's definitely third in that group of three I mentioned.

I'm trusting my gut. I get really *off* vibes from LC, and when I've trusted them in the past they've paid off. I'm not certain by any means, normally I like a few phases to read him for sure, but I feel much better about it than any of the other things that have been going on.

Jack it's just that so much of his content is flippant and meaningless.

Turnip Head seems like a fine chap, I don't see any way I'll vote for him. Mac... hard guy to read, and the truth is that I get influenced by other peoples' reads sometimes. Some folks have given very strong Civ reads of him, and it makes me say "oh, is he being really Civvish? Ok!" And he rises higher on my mental rainbow list.

I suppose my gut isn't really telling me much of anything about either one of them. I'd say I feel about null.

I still would probably rather vote off these leading wagons though; like you, I'd most prefer Epi but even then I feel like his wagon kinda sucks. He hasn't really done that much worthy of suspicion, and what little he has (his dunya thoughts) seem too careless for scum Epi.

I will say that jack seems different from his pregnancy in GoC but is it enoug to make him scum? I dunno
First of all, congrats on the big news, Jack! Is it a boy or girl?

Second, in what way does he seem different to you?
I’ve brought this up before, and you’ve already touched on it. He seems silly and his investment is quite casual. I’m not sure if he’s just trying a different technique or what, but he was poking his nose in closets that didn’t need to be opened in GoC. Here it’s like he just lit a Yankee Doodle candle because he doesn’t feel like smelling cat hair
Yeah, this describes well how I feel about Jack so far.

Weird how I was inactive and people discussed my meta.
I'll elaborate on this.

She's heard of my meta in games I never really played in? Really, my meta came up?

suspect af. who in btsc gave you an idea of my meta?
nah you were compared to other players to me in discord in the past when we were OT discussing prolific Syndicate mafia players.
Dom has been mentioned 142 times in Discord, and none of those were comparisons to you.

[VOTE: dunya] aubergine
I find this super convincing.
That s not what she said Epi. She said that someone has had a conversation with her on discord in which the comparison between Dom and other were made. The "to me" meant, it was said to me. Not that Dom was compared to other players and compared to her.

I don't think she would have called on me to verify this had happened if she was making shit up. It would only make sense to do that if I were on her team and were to immediately come in and say yes, can confirm. Which is not what happened here at all. I can't recall the conversation but she and I have had many conversations since we met and it would not surprise me one bit if we had such a conversation. And frequently our conversations are in between just she and I, by DM. So you can't say unequivocally this conversation did not occur. I can't say I recall the exact conversation she is referring to, but I believe she is telling the truth because it's the only way her request to me makes any sense. I think this is a load of bullcrap case personally.
That's what I meant. Here's an edit:
Dom has been mentioned 142 times in Discord, and none of those were conversations to you that was comparing Dom to others.

Marmot voted for me? In a poll that ends on my birthday. I'll happily return the favor for him since he so kindly gave me his vopte instead of his customary Day 1 self vote. Wouldn't want him to feel too off missing that vote on Day 1 that is normally behind his name...

Part of my problem is I feel I have a lot of difficulty discerning whether flippant and silly behavior, especially this early, is genuine or not. Back in the first few years of my mafia experience, as town I used to always get my panties in a bunch about that kind of behavior because I've always preferred the serious and intense approach to Day 1, but those crusades against players for acting silly usually didn't end well (again, "weird" isn't "bad") and not everyone plays like me.
