You would rather force a tie? That's the worst idea I've heard of.
There's nothing particularly wrong with a tie. If someone who is civ has 6 votes and someone who is bad has 5 votes, the civ will be lynched. If both have 6, there's a 50% chance that the baddie is lynched.

Dunya take a clear stance on today's lynch. Putting it on a third party doesn't make you look good I tell you.

It wil make you look particularly bad if space daisy gets lynched and is town. Combining it with me being town is distancing yourself from two townie bandwagons. A clear record if you get what I mean.

Also you other guys either be vocal or look scummy.

Sure, but generally speaking you're voting for the person you think is bad to create the tie, rather than the person you think is civ. So there's nothing unciv about about creating a tie, and there's also nothing statistically negative about it (it's balanced).

@Golden a tie is bad because we can't hold somebody accountable. It's easier when people are responsible for what they vote and not put randomness into a factor. It doesn't help.

What are you on about? How does it reduce accountability? If anything it increases it.

No-one should abdicate responsbility for their vote just to create a tie, if that's what you mean. I'm not advocating the artificial creation of a tie. I'm just explaining why it is not 'the worst idea'. Tie avoidance is fundamentally anti-town, because it means people aren't voting who they want to. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that deliberately avoiding ties means you can't hold people accountable.

It's near end of day, Spaicedaisy was around. She didn't defend herself. I find that unhelpful tbh.

Choutas was around, he offered some passionate words.

I would have preferred Luna, but I honestly don't have the time to swing it now.

Lynches should be town's general consensus of the scummiest looking player. The most suspicious of them all. Throwing luck in it would get a less suspicious looking player even by one percent in the same fate as the most looking one. That's not even the case most of the times. It's usually a really suspicious player and another guy who rubbed some players off for lesser reasons, bandwagons are usually formed and the prime suspect is bundled with another player who is much less suspicious a die is cast and then town hopes they got the lynch right which has less than 50% if you ask me.

It would be amazing if she is indeed scum since I think it's next level impossible scum would park their vote on another scum player for so long especially since I had good chances of getting lynched.

I feel like there's more of a chance Spacedaisy's emotional plea was a scum ploy a la her performance in Fiddler that we were linked to, despite her claims, than Choutas'. I can't see Choutas using emotional self-vote manipulation to get to me. Also, I don't see any Daisy input. Marmot claimed to see some, but I didn't on my last iso. Overall, I'm happy with a Daisy lynch result today imo.

I currently think that Spacedaisy is still the best lynch, partially because she hasn't done anything to diminish that notion.

Novaselinever and Choutas both have.

No. I'm also leaving in negative six minutes so I don't have time for it.

Here's a couple morsels for you.

sig was lynched Day 1 with 53 posts. He was civilian
Long Con was lynched Day 3 with 220 posts. He was civilian.
Colin was lynched Day 2 with 27 posts. He was mafia. He also had a low post count.

Here's a couple reasons I suspect Spacedaisy.

Nope. And I probably won't. Don't let that keep you from voting me if you feel like I'm bad. I mean I can be a pretty crafty baddie. But I'm not about to hide behind inactivity, fwiw. My lack of activity is just because of outside stuffs. If you find me bad, vote me. Don't let my shitty time management keep you from it.
Oh, don't worry, it's won't keep me from voting you.

I'm even more inclined to do so after this post tbh tbf. I don't like it at all.
Tell me whyyy
I don't like how she's taunting me and inviting me to for her " if I think she's bad ". All I did was ask her if she caught up and I feel like she's overreacting and the post doesn't feel genuine at all.
I don’t read that post in a taunting tone. I just see it as her being relatively disengaged with the game.
None of this alignment i dicative to me.
Don't you think it is a bit of an overreaction to a simple " Did you catch up yet ? " ?

Actually...

Who thinks Daisy's throwing herself under the bus for nova? That's a feeling that just occured to me after reading the above posts from nova.
Marmot wrote: Wed May 02, 2018 9:31 pm Aside from a Happy Birthday post, this is nova's first mention of Spacedaisy, about an hour or so after Daisy did state she was working on a catchup.
novaselinenever wrote: Wed May 02, 2018 7:19 pm @Spacedaisy Did you catch up ?
And then Daisy telling us to lynch her because of inactivity? This set of events seems a bit odd to me.

nova had expressed no suspiction of Spacedaisy when this post was made.

It smells fishy to me.
Marmot wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 10:15 am I also read some previous Spacedaisy games. Novaselinever made a good point.

In Mafia of Unfortunate Events Spacedaisy fell behind for real life issues, but made a concentrated effort when she was around, and gave a long explanation of why she wasn't around. She was civilian here.

In Fiddler on the Roof Mafia, Spacedaisy was her, and she did specificallyrequest to be lynched. This was in an Endgame scenario where Spacedaisy was the only mafia left, but the pressure on her had been building, and supatown Mac was already ready to lynch her.

This game aligns more with Spacedaisy from Fiddler on the Roof. The exception here is that the pressure wasn't there. Spacedaisy's response to nova was much less provoked. Nova only asked if she had caught up on the game thread, no one (that I recall) was pushing for Spacedaisy's lynch.

So we're lynching her because she's a lurker and doesn't give a fuck about this game, basically?

Yeah, I don't think I see anything alignment indicative. If anything I'd guess Daisy would be more invested in this game if bad. Not feeling it.

I know I haven't been around, so this is hypocritical of me probably, but this seems pretty weaksauce. We have a confirmed scum flip. Have any of you all dug anything out of interactive analyses?
