I don't think he believes in it as much as he's saying he believes in it.

Re: [Day 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Well MP is clearly saying that he's hexed.
Skeletor - The evil lord of destruction may use his Havoc Staff to place a hex on any player. While under Skeletor’s power, the target must vote during the day phase as Skeletor directs; the curse lasts two day periods.
I beleive he is suggesting at least that he has been hexed and forced to save for DH.

I think you're right here. I have been eying Skeletor's power for a while and I wondered how explicit hints could be, but I think the way MP is talking would fit right into that.timmer wrote:Well MP is clearly saying that he's hexed.

He-Man, great to hear from you! I don't think anyone is giving timmer "civvie cred" just yet. I think he's getting "probably indie and we're not sure of his alignment" cred, coupled with "there's a reasonable chance we would be wasting our time lynching him again today anyway" cred. We can always continue to keep an eye on him.
I believe you mentioned FH as a suspect; I'm inclined to agree. Her vote pattern looks kind of bad in retrospect (ie Wind Raider, Boomslang, LT for the shield). I'm also still not crazy about what I remember as being very pro-Boomslang posts from BWT on Day 1. I'm not sure either of those ideas are enough to lynch someone on; in fact, I was hesitant even to post them. However, there doesn't seem to be much else to go on at the moment.

EBWOP: I can't actually find any post where someone was suspicious of FH. It could be that I'm the only one, and it is a mild suspicion anyway, but I thought I'd mention it.

I agree BWT needs exploring he is quick to do his reads of people but not so quick at giving his thoughts on people.Russtifinko wrote:He-Man, great to hear from you! I dont think a timmer vote would be a waste though
Also MP being hexed is intresting theory however I still thinj DH is probably bad more likely to be on the horde

I'm glad to see so many people on the same page as me. FH and BWT have both been ringing alarm bells with me for some time, but I'm not totally sure yet.

Re: [Day 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Alright, my brain has needed a major break from studying and I am busy eating, so I am here. Stressed as hell, but feeling overall good about tomorrow, so I can afford a bit. I seriously doubt I'll be back again though unless I get too distracted/brain-cluttered again, lol. THEN I can do a good thread re-read maybe starting as early as Wednesday night and be more of a help.
I feel FH and BWT are good mentions. I have not been getting good feelings from BWT most of the game, but then when Rox flipped SM and she had been going after him and Timmer a ton too, I wasn't sure I was right on that one anymore, and before that I was in agreement with his thoughts on Timmer so I was feeling better about him then. I am also notoriously bad at reading BWT in the past. However, his behavior does need to be re-examined and I still think he's probably worth looking at for those on my bad/?? list. Glad to see others agree, it makes me feel better about my pings on him, but why didn't anyone else say anything earlier? Lol.
As to FH, same there, I was vocal about how her vote could have easily been to save Boomslang, but she argued it well. I don't know about her either. I'd support examining either of them further.
Kate's connection with Rox I still feel could be something in addition to my read on Kate not being the most civvie, BUT I'd like to hear what she has to say, as I mentioned previously.
Frankly, He-Man, Kate, BWT, FH, Daisy, orson, etc. are all in this ??/bad? area for me, and then I have other people I just don't trust, but not for any particular bad reason with their behavior, like reywaS, etc.
All this being said, you guys should all vote for DH instead. He's been quiet, joking, unhelpful, everything.
Also, welcome juliet! I definitely look forward to seeing what you find out with a fresh set of eyes reading everything.
That being said, this response makes me feel better about you again, so thanks. I'm just not sure how to read you all game, my initial read was pingy, but then I was thinking you weren't bad because of circumstantial evidence, which then kind of got turned on its ahead, so it's hard to say. I still think you might be bad. I haven't been able to re-read anyone so I really need to do that and I suggest others do that.
I am wondering about SE and reywaS, not sure about either of them. reywaS always kind of scares me and SE seems distracted but mostly normal behavior from him, but he could be hiding. DP is in the same boat.
I am not flip flopping with sinister reason. Based on what was going on in the thread when I voted for you on Day 1 and found you most suspicious, that was all we had to go off of. Then Boomslang was revealed and we had more, and I thought for sure he and Timmer were bandwagoning on my suspicion of you to save Boomslang, but now we know Timmer is very very unlikely not Snake Mountain. Things happen. I have no better knowledge than anyone else here; I am constantly trying to analyze and come to the right conclusions.
But seriously, you have been quiet. And I still think you're worth a huge
for it. Any thoughts, sir?
On that note, back to studying! I guess. My progress tests have been going really well lately (80-93% range consistently), so I finally feel I have the confidence for this thing. Wish me luck!

I'm not giving him a free pass. Russ summed it up pretty eloquently, but just look at my posts. I do think Timmer is most likely Zodac and as such could still be a threat. But I don't think we should lynch him now, and he might have some interesting things to say. It's hard to say whether he is civvie or baddie aligned. I do not see how he would be on The Horde, but maybe that's what you want us to think.He-Man wrote:Mp your super flip floppy this game, first Im suspicioius then Im not then Im suspicious then Im not...dude make your mind up.
I have not sat back at all, I'm here, I'm fighting, the reason I'm not as active is because I'm not being challenged for my 'normal' behaviour, I say not I mean wasn't as its all systems go again.![]()
Timmer, I think is bad still, and I note everyone who is giving him a free pass eyeing you MP. yeah he probably wasnt snake mountain but that doesnt mean he is not the Horde.
reywas I have a BIG eye on him he simply has been taking a back seat I want to see much more from him. his vote history is meh .. FH too she is pinging me as someone flying low right now, she has not been very helpful same with Space daisy tbh what she has made like 7 posts or something, and what has she said not a fat lot tbh.![]()
also an eye for spaghetti everywhere, he was quite prolific in my near downturn on day one yet where is he now? is he silenced even yesterday I dont think we saw much of him.
but the problem with my suspicions is that they cant talk today and well thats not great to building a case on the defensless.
I look forward to seeiing the return of all the silenced players tbh
as for kate, meh, I'm not seeing her as susoicious right now, I could be wrong but dont feel she has done anything to warrant a vote SO EARLY in the day when she has no defense and there is plenty of time to discuss others.
pahhh there, plenty of to say still but not much for me to feel comfortable to throw anyone to the wolves.
but yeah MP, you are mr flip flopper 2013

Sorry everyone! I've been meaning to post more but this cold has been kicking my ass!
I woke up today feeling really groggy and achy so I've been napping off and on. I will post some thoughts in a bit when I start feeling a bit better. Because right now, my mind is very bleh.
And if I don't get a chance to say it again, good luck tomorrow Alex! I know you'll do well!
Also welcome un-tamed!

Re: [Day 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Hmmm. Well FH can't defend herself, and BWT seems out of commission as well. I may end up voting for one of them anyway.
Is it just me on this one, or does anyone feel the same? As a plus, DH can defend himself, so I'd like to hear his response as well.
Good luck with your test tomorrow, MP! And a hearty welcome to The_untamed!
I know this will sound really crazy since we know MP is being manipulated. It will probably even draw renewed accusations of agreeing with MP too much, but whatever. DH has actually been on my short list for baddies too. Reading through DH's posts, he hasn't offered anything useful since Day 1. His silence strikes me as a little sinister personally. Even if he's not bad, I would feel much worse about lynching a talkative civvie than a silent one, and as I've stated, our leads today aren't great. He may even earn my vote over FH or BWT, but we'll see. I would still be nervous about lynching him since it seems Snake Mountain wants him dead, and I wouldn't want to play into their hands.MovingPictures07 wrote: All this being said, you guys should all vote for DH instead. Is it safe to assume that Snake Mountain wants him dead? or could they just be throwing wrenches in the gears by trying to undermine MP's cred? I'm here, I've just been extremely busy and i'm usually a quiet player anyways. As for being "quite prolific" in your near downturn, I said ONCE that you were pinging me slightly. Since then I have mentioned you zero times.He-Man wrote:also an eye for spaghetti everywhere, he was quite prolific in my near downturn on day one yet where is he now? is he silenced even yesterday I dont think we saw much of him.
Now as for you, you actually still are pinging me. You've been pretty wishy washy all game too, as well as throwing out names all game of people you say are good, such as:
and all you ever do is talk about BFHe-Man wrote:Well if she is civ then is nothing to see there. Anne didn't play the game yeah she made a vote but no on will no the reason for it. So for now indigo who is a sheis cool with me
Now onto the subject of your wishy washyness, I'd like to point out two specific instances.He-Man wrote:BF makes a good point on reywas vote he didn't take into account all the drama of the last few hours he kinda skipped over it. That doesn't seem very rey like. And roxy with her BWT vote hmm I agree very non committal.
As for me tying up the vote we as a mafia community more often than not lynch civvies day one, this is why I voted boomslang he pinged me and it was enough to try and help BF.
I'm a civvie BF is likely civvie 2 civvies with the more votes than anyone else, classic day one.
Now I could be wrong about BF but he seems helpful to me. And helpful with the info he got and he is not afraid to lay it all out there something baddies rarely do.
1. First you give MP the eye for him just suspecting people. Then you go on to say
and then now you're after him again for just saying DH is bad, which it seemed he was blatantly trying to tell us that he was under some sort of hex thing making him say stuff like that.He-Man wrote:well done on suriving MP, its likely now your civ
I suggest you do the same and make up your damn mind.He-Man wrote:Mp your super flip floppy this game, first Im suspicioius then Im not then Im suspicious then Im not...dude make your mind up.
Also, you jumped on the DH bandwagon very quickly.
2. Earlier in the game, you and Kate had a band and forth and you seemed pretty adamant that Kate was bad because she accused you and voted you. Now you go and say things like:
Yeah. Just some thoughts on the matter. Keep in mind that I am defending neither MP or Kate, they just had to be used as examples to prove my point. Both of them are actually under my suspicions as well.He-Man wrote:as for kate, meh, I'm not seeing her as susoicious right now, I could be wrong but dont feel she has done anything to warrant a vote SO EARLY in the day when she has no defense and there is plenty of time to discuss others.

So spaghetti finally you said something not sure why you decided to post about me but hey ho.
I wish i had time to reciprocate but its ten thirty here and im going to bed.
I dont think I said kate was bad just I was surprised she voted me so quickly. And on day one I wss attacked quite alot by a few and MP did flip flop on me a lot I stand by that
And what do you mean 'all i ever do is talk about BF' can you elaborate because I dont think I do.
Also you quoted 5 of my 50 plus posts. Talk about EDITING. Is one of your team mates up for tbe chop today?
Off to bed good luck with the lynch civs.

Interesting spread of votes so far. I'd like to hear The-untamed give an explanation for his choice.

On the one hand Dharmahelper seems like a good vote. On the other if MP is being forced to vote by Snake Mountain do we want to help them with the vote? I'm not to keen on that idea.

Going to have to vote Kate. I really, REALLY want to pull up quotes and give my reasons for doing so, but this cold's just got me down so much that I don't have the energy physically or mentally to do so. I promise I will go over it tomorrow though.

You guys, what if DH is Moduk and the reason he's being so quiet is because he wants to fly under the radar long enough for him to grow as powerful as possible.

Re: [Day 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
I'm still not caught up in the thread but I had to stop a minute to comment here. Maybe someone has pointed this out but it's not DH people suspect of being hexed it's MP. People suspect MP has been hexed and had to make a case and vote DH today. Maybe thats what you were saying here and I just mis-understood.He-Man wrote:Im votingDH hexed or not DH is playing his baddie game. Votes
Also, while I'm on the subject of DH his quietness here is totally reasonable to me because I'm in another game that he's in and that game has been very intense for him. Very intense. You can even read his posts over there if you're an RM member. I'm not at all surprised he's been quiet in this game given the time spent in that one.
And just a caveat, I am not saying DH is good. He could be mafia in this game for all I know I'm just saying I personally don't see his quietness as a reason to vote for him.
I'm still not caught up here so I'm racing the clock but i felt I had to stop and say something on this subject since I had direct knowledge.

Re: [Day 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Pretty great quote, DH. Ahhh I have no idea what to do, but I have to go to bed! I'm wavering between DH, who I don't want to die if Snake Mountain wants him dead, and Kate, who I think should have a chance to defend herself. There's also BWT...DharmaHelper wrote:You guys, what if DH is Moduk and the reason he's being so quiet is because he wants to fly under the radar long enough for him to grow as powerful as possible.
Going to vote DH, albeit with a good deal of reluctance. Sorry DH, I really hope you're a baddie...

If that ends up being true, you deserve credit for your chutzpah, at least.DharmaHelper wrote:You guys, what if DH is Moduk and the reason he's being so quiet is because he wants to fly under the radar long enough for him to grow as powerful as possible.

I am very worried that so many are following MP's manipulated vote. I urge the other civvies to stop this madness. You have one hour.

Yes I agree. But maybe we are meant to think that. But with his posts as well it's all very suspect.thellama73 wrote:I am very worried that so many are following MP's manipulated vote. I urge the other civvies to stop this madness. You have one hour.

I really don't know who to vote for. I sure as hell am not going to vote for DH though, at least not because Skull Mountain wants me too.
I think I am going to vote for He-Man for following Skull Mountain's whims.
